Spiritual Awakening: The Moment Of Awakening Has Come!!!

This past weekend I had the opportunity to announce 8 football games as part of The Gold Coast Pop Warner Football Championships. I am grateful for this opportunity as not only did it provide me a source of income but it also became a catalyst for spiritual growth. I arrived at the stadium on Saturday and asked the city staff person about getting a microphone and was told he was instructed not to give us one. I brought this up to the Gold Coast Pop Warner Football Representative and he made sure I had a microphone to announce the 4 games for that day. Despite the rain I was able to do a good job and use my talents to bring the game to life. On Sunday I arrived at the park and the sound system wasn’t set up and when it did get set up my voice sounded like the teacher from The Peanuts. I was a bit upset as I always strive to do my best when announcing a game. The situation was rectified as one of the teams brought their sound system and it worked out great. There were a few challenges like the site lines from the press box being obstructed at times however I was able to over come them and  do the job that I was hired to do. I share this because in the past I would have let anger rule the day and would have allowed it to ruin what I enjoy doing however this time I took a deep breath and allowed the issues to be corrected.  In being an action taker coming from a position of peace and understanding I was able to do my job and do it well and at the end I was able to have success.
In experiencing a spiritual awakening you will begin to become more and more aware and awake. As a result of understanding that the moment of awakening has come you will find yourself having a better understanding of who you are so that you can tap into your inner divinity and come alive. In coming alive you will begin to attract more peace, love, joy, and prosperity into your as your divine connection to GOD is strengthened. Last Night (10/30) I Hosted The Don’t Get Spooked By Cancer Fundraiser to benefit The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Sunrise at The Hooters in Sunrise. In the past I would have been upset by the people who passed by the booth and didn’t donate but last night I decided to be grateful for those who did give and to detach from the outcome. In doing this $202 was raised through the chance drawings and donations. In showing gratitude I was was able to help raise funds for research, education, advocacy, and services. I was able to simply understand that in another moment of awakening that if I simply do my best and am authentic then I will be rewarded with a successful event.  When we awakening spiritually and start to remove the negatives from our lives, what I like to call stinking thinking, and and we start to become more and more positive we enjoy a life filled with bliss and abundance.

Spiritual Awakening: Be An Agent Of Change!!!

As I look at all the events unfolding around the world I think what can I do to become an agent of change and how can I become more and more spiritually awake? The answer came as to become an agent of change. It is time to tap into the inner divinity that lies in all of us and connect with others by being loving and caring in all we do and taking action and not allowing naysayers and negative self talk to get in the way.

If you are to change the world you first need to change yourself. You must be willing to go to the ends that no one else is willing to go. You must be willing to step into your power and through all your fears away. You must be willing to loose those who you thought were friends and overcome all the doubters.
In becoming an agent of change you must be true to yourself and be authentic understand that you are a divine child of GOD with a purpose. It is when you commit to becoming an agent of change that you will start to take actions to answer your calling and realize personal, professional, and spiritual growth. You will begin to find opportunities that you never though existed as you begin to take action to move in a positive direction of your dreams. It is when you truly believe that you can make a difference and you work at using your talents to make positive changes that your life and the lives of of others improves.  Ask yourself what will I do today to become an agent of change for me and others? Ask yourself how you will show others that service to humanity is the best work of life.  Start to believe in yourself and invest in yourself and you will become an agent of change.

Spiritual Awakening: Fishing In The Right Pond!!!

As we begin to fish for spiritual answers and enlightenment we must make sure we are fishing in the correct pond. Is our pond filled with people who are evolving and growing or those who are stagnant? Is our pond filled with action takers or excuse makers? If we are truly going to feed our spirituality and grow personally and professionally it is imperative to find the pond that is well stocked to feed our desire to create a oneness consciousness that will create a mind, body, and soul connection that will allow us to live the life we desire. When looking at the pond we are fishing in we must ask am I the biggest fish? If you are the biggest fish it is time to migrate to a pond where there are bigger fish.  Is the pond we are fishing in providing what we seek? If not it is time to change ponds. You can not catch tuna in a KOI pond.  As you begin to awaken more and more and become more self aware you will be able to determine what ponds you should be fishing in.

 What mindset do those in your pond have? Are they grateful for what they have or are they complaining about what they do not have?  Ate the people in your pond complaining about how tough things are or are they facing the challenges and thriving?  Are the people you are  fishing with showing happiness or anger?  The key is to make sure your pond is infused with positivity that promotes peace, love, joy, and prosperity.  Look at the pond you are fishing in and determine if that pond is serving you. If it is not serving you then change ponds.

 When searching for the right pond to fish in make sure it is filled with people who have the attitude of gratitude.

Spiritual Awakening: Time To Change The World!!!

When you are going through the spiritual awakening process you realize that you are not only changing yourself but you are changing the world. When you commit to taking action to be more in tune with your spirituality and to tap into your divine guidance system you take the steps that will enhance your personal and professional life thus changing the world. When you awake in the morning you should be looking for ways to be of service and value to others. In finding and taking advantage of the opportunities to be of service and value you will witness the small changes that lead to changing the world.  When you decide it is time to change the world and you take action you will begin to see the dramatic changes that create a collective consciousness that creates a positive shift in your life and the lives of others. As you move forward in the quest to change the world you will experience personal and professional growth that will allow to enjoy the prosperity that is your birthright.

If we turn a blind eye to the injustice we are just as guilty as those committing the injustice. So many are fearful of speaking up that they allow the injustice to continue and thus when it continues they feel guilt. Fear and guilt are energy drainers and stop you from making a positive difference in the world. We all have  a voice and it is time to use our collective voices to change the world.  Sometimes eradicating a perceived problem such as a hungry child is simply to buy and prepare food for the child. Sometimes the way to assist a homeless person is simply to talk to the person and see if they desire help to improve their human condition. In most cases you can change the world simply by interacting with people and helping them to step into their power and showing them how to use their talents. Their are certain things you can do to change the world. You can show love and compassion in all you do. You can forgive yourself and others for their transgressions. You can assume an attitude of gratitude. The choice is yours to tap into your spirituality and change the world.

Spiritual Awakening: How Is Your Flow?

Spiritual Flow" by Akiane at age 16energy flow During the spiritual awakening process while we become action takers it is important to answer the question how is your flow? As you get more and more in tune with your body and create a oneness consciousness you will experience great changes in your personal and professional life. As you adopt positive mantras and utilize principles of positivism you will be able to analyze when you are flowing with positive energy and when you need to repel negative energy. As I am out in the community on a regular basis I encounter many people who should be answering the question how is you flow. as they are in a negative state and thus not prospering the way GOD intends them to. I also meet people who are so positive in their flow that they are being held in GOD’s favor and experiencing the prosperity that is their birthright.  We all control the energy that we attract and project. The energy you give off comes back to you 10 fold so through out your day ask yourself how in my flow. If you feel it is at a lower level and you are not vibrating at a level that will create positivity into your life take some action to become more centered and grounded.  Remember the energy you bring to anything will determine your flow. If someone begins to become negative to you simply state your thoughts and then go in a direction that will create a more positive environment for you.

Spiritual Awakening: Find Your Purpose And Take Action

 

 It is said there are two important days in your life the day you are born and the day you figure out why.  As you search for your purpose be aware of the signs that are being presented to you in The Spiritual Awakening process. In GOD’s Kingdom we all have a purpose and every purpose is important. In answering this calling and living a life of purpose we manifest the life that we desire. If we are to  change and come alive and be of service and value to our community we must begin to find the purpose on our path to spiritual enlightenment. In being passionate and taking action we become successful in our personal and professional life. It is when we are aligned physically, mentally, and spiritually that we are able to act on our purpose and create peace, love, joy, and prosperity in our lives. It is important to be aware of the messages that are being sent to us so that we can act on purpose. In his book The Purpose Driven Life, Rick Warren speaks about doing one lesson a day for 40 days as it took 40 days for things to come to fruition through out The Bible. Starting today begin to take action on embracing your purpose. Each day look for the signs and act upon them accordingly.

 In understanding your purpose and being fully committed to fulfilling that purpose you will begin to find that your life flows freer  and that you will experience more joy. Many times we will find our purpose but for some reason we are held back from taking action. As a result of not flowing with our purpose we are left with the would of, should of, could of discussion and we find our self looking back hoping we could change things. Understanding we can not change the past and we can not control the future will enable us to live a life of purpose and shine in the moment.

Spiritual Awakening: Taking Goodness To The Limit!!!

 

 As I was reading through my Facebook feed today I saw many great posts about the goodness people are doing to help others in their respective communities. I began to think what if we could capture this spirit of goodness and make it last all through the new year? What if we could all experience a spiritual awakening and recognize that we are all interconnected and because of that inter-connectivity we have a responsible to take action to help others in our community. I remember watching the Bill Murray movie, Scrogged, and the final scene where he speaks about miracles happening and thinking what if we could push this idea of goodness to the limit. I remember watching Jim Carey in Bruce Almighty and the scene of him with Morgan Freeman’s character, GOD, and GOD explaining what a real hero was and thinking about how true his statements were about everyday people doing extraordinary things.

 When you have a spiritual awakening you begin to understand your calling and your purpose and you find ways to push it to the limit. many things in your personal and professional life begin to change. You start to come alive and you find a sense of giving that leads to serving the community and thus taking goodness to the limit!!! In math we talk about approaching limits understanding you never reach the limit because the limit doesn’t exist. This is also true in life as there is no limit to the goodness you can do. You are capable of so much more than you think.  Many times prior to a spiritual awakening we find ourselves limiting ourselves because we buy into the negative self talk and the naysayers. It is when we dismiss the negative self talk and tell the naysayers to pound sand that we begin to push the limits of our goodness. How many times have you not pursued something because of what someone else said? If you find yourself around doubters and negative energy take a step back detach yourself from the situation and commit to moving forward to push the limit of your goodness because you are capable of much more than you think you are.  So many time we allow limiting beliefs to hold us back because of an underlying fear of moving forward and thus we never manifest our dreams. I am reminded of the scene from the movie, Accepted, when Bartlebee asks the board that is about to decide the fate of his college what they wanted to be when they were growing up and what they ended up settling for.  How many times have you settled instead of pushing the limits of your goodness?

Spiritual Awakening: How To Make A Fresh Start!!!

 In standing or sitting in meditation or prayer after a spiritual awakening many seek to make a fresh start. I am asked many times JDOGG how do I make a fresh start?  The first thing I state is that to change you must be open to receive  and embrace the changes. In being open to receive you are showing the universe that you are truly ready to make a new start. After you commit to being ready to receive the next step is to look at  the person you wish to be and how this fits into you being authentic. You must be honest with yourself and accept that all positives and negatives in your life have been caused by you and the way you chose to deal with them. When you become an action taker and are truly committed to taking the steps necessary to make yourself better you will see positive changes. You will see that you are attracting different people into your life because you embrace the opportunity to start fresh.  Many of our behaviors have been learned over time and it will take some time to eliminate those that do not serve us in a positive light. In many cases we may seek to change our circle of influence, if we are hanging with people who have a lack mentality than we must move away from them toward those who have an abundance mentality. If we find out we are the smartest person in the room  we need to change rooms. In awakening to who we are and finding our purpose we can change what we have done in the past and make the changes to find success in the moment.

 Think of your life in the terms of a tree. A seed is planted and the seed is nurtured and  it grows strong, however in the Fall and Winter the tree transitions and goes dormant and then in the Spring and Summer it awakens and sprouts leaves and provides joy to many. In Ecclesiastes it is taught that to every season there is a purpose under heaven. It is in nurturing the seeds inside of us that we grow like a tree and find our purpose. Eventually the tree may be cut down and used in a different way. When we are eventually cut down our message lives on in the lives of those we have touched. Ask yourself ho do I want to be remembered and begin to work toward leaving that legacy.

  For many starting fresh means making a connection with source,  creating a relationship with nature, and being loving in all they do. I have found many times that when you are willing to turn the page and forgive yourself and others and be loving in all you do that you begin to see things differently and thus you move forward in a positive direction of your goals and dreams.

Spiritual Awakening: Living In The Moment!!!

 

 As I searched deep inside myself today to find the words to share with you that would empower your and inspire to take action the message I received was to live in the moment. In the spirit of living in the moment and being spirituality awake I searched for a song that would fit this entry. I found Beckah Shae’s Here In This Moment. As I listened I began to think how many times do we miss out on happy moments because we are projecting and thinking how things should be. I have learned over time the way things are and the way we think things should be are very different. In having a spiritual awakening you begin to experience life as it is meant to unfold and that there are things you can control and things you can not.

In choosing to live in the moment you detach yourself from past experiences and you also reduce the stress associated with worrying about future events.  In detaching from the past and the future and living in the moment you will find that things tend to flow and you achieve what you set out to do in a peaceful and joyful manner. If you release the could haves, the should haves, and the would haves and live in the moment you begin to find an inner solace in knowing everything is in divine order the way it was meant to be right now.  In deciding to live in the moment and go about each moment with a sense of gratitude you will find that you create the life you desire. In healing and releasing the past you open up the passages necessary to move forward in the positive direction of your dreams. In taking the future out of the equation and living for the now you will see how things flow and you will begin to enjoy the abundance that the universe has to offer. I look at those who I believe to be successful and they all share something in common. They all live in the moment and come from a position of gratitude.

Spiritual Awakening: One Power!!!

 
 Through out my spiritual awakening and along my journey to enlightenment I have learned that there is one power  that makes it all happen for us and that power comes from us when we create a oneness consciousness. You may call the power by different names however the power  is inside of us. We have a divinity inside of us all that we were meant to share with others. In our taking action based on the power and the messages that are being sent we grow stronger in spirituality and thus we make a mind, body, soul connection that drives us to enhance our personal and professional lives while we are of service and value to others. It is in the recognition of the power that we expand our spiritual awakening and as a result we attract the right people to be in our lives. In attracting the people that are meant to be in our lives we begin to achieve the greatness and prosperity that is our birthright. In your awakening you will experience many emotions and in dealing with the emotions on a cellular level you will begin to see why things are happening for you. It is in recognizing that there is one power that guides us all that we begin to make the world a better place. When we awaken spiritually we begin to understand our purpose and in following that purpose we gain a shared power with GOD that allows us to expand and manifest the greatness that we have in each of us.
