Spiritual Awakening: Who Is Protecting You?

As I was watching TV the other day I watched a State Farm commercial which asked who is protecting your house? This made me think about who is protecting you as you enhance your personal, professional, and spiritual life? As I sat in meditation I realized that I was being protected by GOD, Jesus, The Ascended Master, and The Angels. As I came out of the mediation I began to understand as long as I maintain my connection with my protectors and listen to their messages that everything will work out in the end. As you waken spiritually you will find yourself protected and thus in more favorable positions to bring peace, love, joy, and prosperity into your life so that you can do the same for others. In staying connected and being focused, centered, and grounded you will find everything flowing in your life just as GOD has intended. GOD will protect you and guide you by giving you messages on a regular basis. It is up to you to accept this protection and trust in GOD that GOD will prosper you and provide for you.


As many of you who read this blog on a regular basis are aware I have had my share of trials and tribulations over the last 6 years and at times have found myself in a struggle questioning what will happen however once I let go and let GOD I began to see that I was protected and everything was happening according to GOD’S Plan for GOD’S Plan for me is far greater than my own. I have also started to realize that when you are protected and feel secure that you can step into your power and achieve the greatness that is your birthright. As GOD has protected me GOD has put me in places where I can thrive and has created situations that lead to success. The power to change lies within us and if we understand that GOD will protect us and not give us anything that we can not handle we will begin to manifest the life we desire.

When you start to strengthen your relationship with GOD and detach from outcomes you will find it easier to live your life on purpose by being of service and value to others. As I reflect back on my 40 years of community service I can point to all the times I had success and every instance shares one thing in common and that is that I was open to accepting that I was being guided and protected by GOD. To further my protection I have called on Arch Angel Michael to put up a wall of protection around me so that I can flourish as I continue on my spiritual journey toward enlightenment.

Spiritual Awakening: Getting Charged Up!!!

Image result for Car batteries As I went to turn on my car yesterday (7/14/2017) it would not turn over.I was very fortunate that I had a charger and I gave it charge and it started. I went to Ocello’s Automotive Center and it turned out I needed a new battery.  I left my car and this gave me time to truly embrace the spiritual awakening process as I started to think just like a car needs good balanced energy to run efficient as humans we need good balanced energy to function so that we can embrace the fact that we are spiritual beings having a human experience. In the past I would have gotten mad and angry that I had to spend my hard earned money in this manner but yesterday I was grateful that I had the money to pay for the services needed for my car and that I was in a good position to continue to be an action taker. My car is now running properly and serving as a tool to continue on my mission to be of service and value to others.
As I now have my car in good operational condition I realize that nothing can break my stride unless I allow it to. I have come to understand that if GOD brings me to it GOD will bring me through it. I could have fretted about a $190 expense and been all upset instead I shift my emotions and realized that the $190 was an investment into what GOD has planned for me. In understanding that we are divine children of GOD and that GOD wants us to prosper I have been able to keep my stride moving forward in a position direction to exceeding my goals. Like my car being fully charged I have become charged up understanding that there comes a time to let go and let GOD. I have also come to understand through the spiritual awakening process that we need to change the things we can accept the things we can’t and have the wisdom to know the difference. As we move along on our spiritual journey moving toward enlightenment it is important to know that sometime we simply need time to become recharged with the fruits of spirit.

Image result for the fruits of the spirit When we are fully charged and driven by GOD all these fruits of spirit function within us so that we can be of service and value to others. We have a power inside of us that we can tap into that allows us to become charged up so that we can come alive and positively impact communities where we live, work and play. In getting charged up and following our passion by taking action we are able to find success in the form of attracting peace, love, joy, and prosperity into our lives. In being charged up we are in a position to spread positivism everywhere we go. In being charged up it is important to detach from outcomes and simply allow things to flow as GOD has planned. Remember that everything is in the order that GOD has intended for you.  It is up to you to check your charge and find ways to stay fully charged so as to be the best version of yourself that you can be.

Spiritual Awakening: Finding The Way!!!

Many times along our spiritual path we may be distracted by sources that are trying to take our focus off of our purpose. These sources will also try to sway us from our connection with GOD. It is when these sources come into our lives that we must remember that we are divine children of GOD and that GOD has a purpose for us and will intervene in our life as necessary. It is at the times when you feel distracted and off track that you must reach down deep inside an reconnect with your inner divinity  and become an action taker. I have found that listening to songs like this one from Styx helps to serve as a reminder that we are all looking for our way in life. As we begin to find our way we start to attract peace, love, joy, and prosperity into our life. When we awaken to our purpose we begin to achieve things that others only thought were impossible. It is when we find our calling that we can become the change we want to see in the world. In an effort to find our way we must connect with GOD, Jesus, our angels, and the ascended masters as they will guide on a path that brings harmony, bliss, and abundance into our lives. It is when you are shown the way and follow the messages by taking action that you will find a sense of fulfillment in your life.

Spiritual Awakening: Stop Talking and Start Doing!!!

As you move forward and awaken spiritually there comes a time to stop the talking and take action. In taking action you leave all doubts and fear aside and you are able to move in a positive direction toward your dreams.  When you stop talking and start doing you break down the barriers and clear the blockages that are stopping you from achieving the greatness that you are destined for in this life. So many time we end up making excuses and not taking action  because we listen to our own negative self talk and the naysayers. Now is the time to tell that negative inner voice to shut up and start to erase all thoughts that are holding you back from manifesting the life you desire.  Remember that your words have power so be very conscious of the words you are using and the effects they are having on your life. One way to stop talking and start doing is to speak life.
When you begin to take notice of what you are saying you will begin to see why things are unfolding the way they are in your life.  I hear  many people say I am trying and I refer to YODA from Star Wars saying there is no try you either do or you don’t.  As you continue down your spiritual path take notice of the words you are saying and how they are impacting your life. I recommend that you change your thoughts and your words that are holding you back and making you feel stuck so that you can become unstoppable. Many times when you speak life and you stop talking and you start doing you will find fantastic things happening in your life. You have a power to change your life and the lives of others as you are a divine child of GOD who is being called on to stop talking and start doing.

When you experience a spiritual awakening the first thing you come to understand is that you are a powerful being capable of extraordinary things. The key is to take your words and put them into action. Together we can create a power source that will illuminate the world. We need to stop talking and start doing. It is when you tap into your divine power that you are able to put in motion all things that will assist you in creating a life that you desire.  It is when you stop talking and start doing that you become powerful beyond what you ever imagined.It is when you unleash your power for the world to see that you begin to illuminate the world thus showing people that the brotherhood of man transcends the sovereignty of nations and that service to humanity is the best work of life. Stop listening to all the noise that is holding you back and start doing and you will see that your life will be filled with peace, love, joy, and prosperity.  The key is to take action and have no regrets.

At the end of the day when it is all said and done it is important to have no regrets knowing you took action and followed your heart.  When you stop talking and start doing  you see that you have no regrets as you conceived things in you mind, believed them in your heart, and achieved them. As I reflect back on some of the things that I took action on I can say I am glad I did the things I did as when it is all said and done I can say I made a positive impact on people’s lives. It is when you decide to move right along and take action that you can look back and have no regrets.

It is when we keep moving right along surrounded by those who lift us up that we can stop talking and start doing. It is when we decide to move right along regardless of obstacles and wrong turns that we set in motion everything needed to create a life filled with bliss and abundance. There will be times when you want to stop and there may be times you want to quit. Do not give in and keep on moving right along.

 

 Do not allow negative thoughts or negative people to stop you from taking action to move forward in a positive direction of your dreams. Remember there are those that take action and those who make excuses which type of person will be?

Spiritual Awakening: The Great Buffet Of Life!!!

When the word buffet is mentioned most people think of food and all you can eat. What if I told you there is an endless buffet available to each of us to partake in that will nourish our mind, our body, and our soul. It is the great buffet of life which includes healthy food to fuel our body, knowledge to strengthen our mind, and a divine guidance system to build our soul.  When we begin to partake in the great buffet of life we understand that we are divine children of GOD and in order to praise and connect with GOD we must eat what builds our body up and doesn’t break the body down. It is when we take the action to commit to eating better that we will see major improvements physically and mentally. I know that when I am making better food choices I find myself feeling better and thus I am able to be of more service and value to others. So to start enjoying the great buffet of life I suggest you become aware of what you are putting into body and how it is making you feel.

Spiritual Awakening: Making The Big Score!!!

 We have all heard someone exclaim I made a big score be it after closing a big sale, making a clutch basket, scoring the winning touchdown, kicking a winning field goal, receiving a great care package, or releasing weight. Sometimes we get so caught up in making the big score that we forget the steps needed to take to make the big score. The first step is to get centered, focused, and grounded understanding why we desire to make the big score.  I remember  about a year ago I wanted to make a big score with The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of West Boca Raton but first I had to define the reason why. Once I realized that my why was to honor the memory of my mother, Judith Miller, who God called home on July 5, 2012, things began to flow easily and GOD started to send me messages on how I could make the big score. It was when I listened and acted upon those messages that I started to make a big score. One Day GOD and The Angels told me to write to Doreen Virtue. I did and I told Doreen why I was doing Relay For Life and her reply was favorable and she put me in touch with her publicist at HAY HOUSE. I spoke to the publicist and a few weeks later what many would consider a big score as a care package arrived at my condo containing over $800 worth of Doreen Virtue items to use in my fundraising efforts. Well not only did I raise over $2700 for The West Boca Relay I was able to spread the wealth by sharing the items with other Relays. In knowing why you are doing something you can make a big score.

Spiritual Awakening:Keeping It Real!!!

When we explore our spiritual awakening and making the mind body soul connection we must become authentic and transparent. If we are to truly keep it real we must take stock in where we were, where we are, and where we are going. If we are to evolve spiritually we must own our mistakes and find ways to correct them so that we remove any blockages that are stopping us from moving in a positive direction of our dreams. When we keep it real and take action we have the opportunity to grow and expand. As we use our anthems to keep it real we become more in tune with our vibrations and thus are able to resonate with those who are on the same spiritual journey that we are on and thus we can work together to create a positive spiritual shift in our lives and the lives of others. In an effort to keep it real and to be authentic it is a good spiritual practice to seek guidance from the ascended masters and follow the messages that are  being presented.

I found that when I stopped trying to please others and focused on pleasing GOD and myself that my results were better and that I became much happier. I have also learned that when I leave expectations out of the process that I am able to keep it real and achieve great things.  I have  also learned that when you are shining your light and doing the right thing you will have detractors and haters. You must detach from the detractors and the haters and keep being real so that you can grow personally, professionally, and spiritually. Sometimes when you keep it real you find that you will be leaving people and things that no longer serve you behind.  I have found that if you are true to yourself  you will shine your light bright and attract the people and things necessary to step into your power and achieve greatness.

Spiritual Awakening: New F Words!!!

Through my spiritual awakening I have come to adopt some new F words into my way of doing things so that I can move forward and become an action taker. One of those F word is forgiveness. I have  found by simply detaching from what happened and forgiving those who may have hurt you  and forgiving them is a very freeing experience and it unlocks those emotional blockages that may have been holding me back. In forgiving you remove things that may have stopped you from moving forward. In forgiving others you also want to forgive yourself while also seeking forgiveness. It is when we forgive and are forgiven that we can rise above all the challenges that have been put before us. The hardest thing we will ever have to do if we are to be truly spiritually enlightened is to forgive and seek forgiveness.

Father Forgive Them, Because They Do Not Know What They Are DoingMany times in our life we must seek forgiveness for we didn’t know what we were doing and we didn’t look beyond the act to understand the consequences. As we evolve in our spirituality we must remember that we are not perfect and that no one else is perfect and mistakes will be made, people will do things that hurt us, but we must remember we are not forsaken we are redeemed and GOD knows our name. If you believe you have been wronged take a moment to forgive if you feel you may have wronged someone seek forgiveness.  Sometimes simply writing a letter of forgiveness and sealing it in an envelope can be very liberating. In many cases writing a letter seeking forgiveness can be liberating.  Be prepared when you forgive or seek forgiveness for your life to change because when you ask for forgiveness the other people must take a look at the role they played in everything and sometimes they are not ready to be accountable. Many times we get caught up in the blame game and this hinders our ability to grow spiritually so stop blaming others and look at the role you played and move on by using a new F Word, forgiveness.

flexibilityAnother F Word that I have come to incorporate into my daily life while on my spiritual journey is flexibility. Over the last week my plans have been changed on several occasions. Like today I received a call from  my doctor’s office to reschedule my appointment. In the past I would have been angry and looked at this rescheduling as an inconvenience but today I took it as a sign that GOD had better plans for me.  I then went to do my laundry and when I finished went to Starbucks and there was no place to sit so I walked across to Walgreens and had my blood pressure checked. I then went back to Starbucks and there was a place to sit and plug in my lap top.  I have come to understand that when you over plan you are bound to have what can be perceived as disappointment or you can be flexible and allow things to unfold as GOD had intended all along. The willingness to change plans and be flexible shows great personal, professional, and spiritual growth. Look at how you react to change and remember to adopt another F WORD, Flexibility.

Spiritual Awakening: Don’t Wait Another Minute!!!

 

How many times have we said along our spiritual path oh I will do that tomorrow and then realizing that there is no time like the present and that time is ticking away. Many times we wish we could turn back time, however it is when we come to understand that we can not go backwards we can only move forward that we awaken more and more to our spirituality. In becoming awake we can take the measures necessary to take action and not wait another minute.
 As I stated we may wish to turn back time but what is done is done so me must move forward by seeking forgiveness and forgiving ourselves. It is in the process of reflection that we can move along our spiritual path and leave our past behind us while living in the present and making a bright future. As we gleam from the past we will find shining moments taht we can draw from that will energize us and propel us to find peace, love, joy, and prosperity.

Each year I watch March Madness and on the final night when they play One Shining Moment I am reminded that all the credit goes to the person who is in the arena. It is when we take action and step into the arena detaching from the outcome that we grow personally, professionally, and spiritually. Through this growth we become better and thus we make the world around us better. There will be bumps and bruises along the way but it is how we face these obstacles that determine how high we will soar when we allow GOD to place us in the arena.

Spiritual Awakening: Take The Blinders Off!!!

As I sat in reflection yesterday (5/10/2015) I received a message that I found to be very poignant. It was Take The Blinders Off. As I thought about this I began to think how many people are walking through life unaware of how great they are or how they can make a difference in the lives of others and as a result change their life.  In the spiritual awakening process it is imperative to take time and see what is around you and what is beyond you as the universe is filled with infinite possibilities. When we take our blinders off and we begin to see that their are solutions to every issue and that those solutions lie with in us our world and the world around us improves.  I am often amazed how many people seem to walking around in a daze or oblivious to the opportunities that are being presented to them. In being awake and aware  we become in tune to our inner divinity and thus can start to take the blinders off and solve the challenges we are facing understanding that we are all interconnected and have the ability to take the blinders off.

When we take the blinders off and start to open our eyes we are able to take action and unlock a world of possibilities that we may not have realized existed before our spiritual awakening. It is when we detach from what others think or see in us and focus on what we see in us tat we grow in mind, body, and spirit. In looking in the mirror and seeing the great person you are you begin to take the blinders off and thus are able to continue on your spiritual path to develop a oneness consciousness. In identifying our blind spots we are able to take the blinders off and address these issues. In my case my blind spot was anger. Once I took the blinders off and realized that being angry was not serving me well and that getting angry was creating a personal and spiritual imbalance in my life I was able to work on alternative methods of dealing with issues that once aggravated me. I still get upset at times but instead of getting mad and feeling hopeless I now sit in meditation and breathe seeking positive ways to solve the challenges that may be presenting themselves in my life. The first step to taking the blinders off is to realize there is an issue and to deal with it because not dealing with it only creates blockages that inhibit your spiritual and personal growth. In opening your eyes and getting real with yourself you will see dramatic changes in your life as you begin to understand that when we take the blinders off we grow and enhance our spiritual life.
