Spiritual Awakening: Stay In The Slow Lane!!!

So many times in the hustle and bustle that we live in known as The United States Of America we get caught up in all the materialistic trappings of life that we forget what truly matters in our lives. We have a tendency to want things to happen so fast that we get angry and frustrated when what we want to happen takes time thus it affects our personal, professional, and spiritual lives in a negative way. When this occurs and interferes with our personal development and spiritual development we must remember to stay in the slow lane and allow things to unfold as GOD has planned for us.  It is when we stay in the slow lane and remember that it is not about the materialistic things that we acquire in our life but it is about the lives we touch along the way. So many times we get so caught up in living life in the fast lane that we miss out on many important aspects of our lives.  IN the last few weeks I have come to understand that it is important to slow down and embrace the time you have to interact with people who mean the most to you.  I have come to understand that staying in the slow lane will still get you to your destination. It may take a bit longer but along the way you will find that you bringing more peace, love, joy, and prosperity into your life. In being an action taker and doing things in a slow and steady way you will find that you slowly eliminate the negative forces that my be stopping you from reaching your full potential. In creating  a mantra or an anthem for yourself that reminds you to stay in the slow lane you will find that you are enhancing your personal, professional, and spiritual life. As you take a moment to slow down and console your ascended masters, GOD, Jesus, and your Angles you will find that all the answers you seek will come to you. Through the awakening process you will find it necessary to stay in the slow lane so that you move forward in a positive direction toward spiritual enlightenment.

Spiritual Awakening: Follow Your Heart!!!

As you experience a spiritual awakening it is important to stay connected to GOD with the intention of following what GOD puts in your heart. As you begin to take action by following your heart you will find that you attract more peace, love, joy, and prosperity into your life. As I was getting dressed today (4/12/2018) I chose to put on my purple beat cancer sneakers. Something told me to make this choice and the choice to follow my heart and not question the decision paid off in a big way as there seemed to be magic in the sneakers for I went out collecting for The 2018 American Cancer Society Relay For Life Of Sunrise and had success. IN taking action and following your heart and vibrating on a high level you will find that you experience more bliss and abundance in your life.  Later in the day I received a text about a paid gig but I was a bit apprehensive about taking the gig so I followed my heart and turned it down. Sometimes you just have to follow your heart and let things flow as GOD has planned them out for you. In listening to GOD’S messages and becoming heart centered you will find that you will create more happiness in your life. In following your heart and staying calm in all situations and keeping your ego in check you will find success. Today I simply made a commitment to follow my heart and allow things to unfold as they may by remembering to be impeccable with my word, not taking anything personally, not making judgements, and always doing my best. As a result I was able to stay centered, focused, and grounded and experience some great encounters. In turning on my heart light I was able to clear some blockages that were stopping me from following my passion.

Spiritual Awakening: Don’t Conform, Transform!

Most of our life since we came out of the womb we have been told we must fit in and conform when in reality it is the non-conformists who tend to find the most success. When we go deep inside and find our purpose and see what problem we were put on the earth to solve we are able to find our way and our why that we are able to take action and find our definition of success. In American Society we are told it is about wealth and materialistic things when in reality it is about being a lifter and helping others and showing others that service to humanity is the best work of life. Yes money is needed to take care of basic needs like food, shelter, and clothing and yes money will allow you to touch more lives but money should not be your only motivations. Living for the fancy house, the fancy cars, and the fancy clothes only puts restraints on reaching the level of self actualization. It  may be great to have all the materialistic things but these materialistic things can also stifle our ability to grow personally, professionally, and spiritually. It is when you arrive at a level where you have wealth that you begin to spread it around to help other people excel. It is when you lift others that you are lifted. I encourage those reading this to make a commitment to transform instead of conforming. Be the person who stands out and shines their light bright for the world to see. Some may look at you a bit strangely but that doesn’t matter because when it is all said and done and that judgement day comes all that will matter is how you served and honored GOD.

We are taught from day one that we have to look fro the future when in reality we must detach from the expectation of the future and live for the moment. We must put the past behind us and stop projecting and simply live in the moment and let GOD’S master plan direct us. It is time to stop conforming and to start transforming. It is time to live our lives on purpose and turn our dreams into reality.  It is good to have a plan of action however you must be willing to tweak this plan accordingly so that you can achieve what you perceive as success.  I have come to understand that you must be motivated by your inner divinity and allow that inner divinity to guide you along your spiritual path so that you can grow personally, professionally, and spiritually.

Spiritual Awakening: A Prescription for Love!!!

 

With all the turmoil being covered by the news I decided that I would prescribe a dose of love for everyone and encourage people to embrace the spiritual awakening process and to do small things with great love. In taking action to make love an anthem and to spread kindness wherever you go you will be following the prescription of love thus helping to awaken yourself and others to the power of love. When you tp into you own divinity and you begin to love who you are you begin to give off a vibration that creates a love resonation that will then propel people to work together in a loving and caring manner.  In understanding that you are a divine child of GOD and that GOD loves you you create a ripple that not only will transform your life but the lives of others. In answering the call to love you will be able to affect the change that you want to see in the world and thus come alive so you can be of service and value to your community.

 When  we awaken spiritually and we turn ourselves over to GOD and show GOD love he will show us some love in return. When you commit to being loving and caring in all you do GOD see’s that and rewards you for your generosity and gratitude you are given the opportunity to step into your greatness and thus create prosperity for yourself that in turn allows you to help others. Through love we are able to heal ourselves and conquer everything that may be holding us back from achieving the life we desire. I remember the day I made my FREE HUGS Sign and displayed it for the first time some people understood the message while others were skeptical and questioned what I was doing. I was giving out a prescription of love. In giving out FREE HUGS I was able to shift the paradigm in some people’s lives by letting them know that there is at least one person who wants to spread peace, love, joy, and prosperity to others . As you look for  ways to share love and you take action you set in motion events that change your life and the lives around you. When you radiate love people see that and many will want to join you.

Spiritual Awakening: Spiritual Poker!

 

Life is often like a poker game. The best hand when playing poker is a royal flush while in our spiritual poker game  the best hand we can have is self actualization. The first rule in our spiritual poker game is to come  straight from the heart.The next rule of the spiritual poker game is that we do not use money but we use spiritually related items to place our bets like a complimentary card reading. The third rule in our spiritual poker game is that you can not fold. The fourth rule is that there will be 2 passes made, the cards dealt, first round of betting, exchange of cards then a second round of betting and then everyone shares their hand and the winner then gets the pot. In between hands players will be encouraged to write down their thoughts in a personal journal and to share their feelings about the hand so as to clear their thoughts to play the next hand.  The idea of host a spiritual poker game is to bring people together to fellowship while also expanding their spiritual growth. In spiritual growth it is not about winning it is about enlightenment. The key will be to shuffle up and deal and grow in spirituality. As you play spiritual poker you can seek guidance from your angels, your spiritual guides, any ascended masters, GOD, Jesus or other spiritual sources for assistance.

Imagine instead of using chips and playing for money that you would purchase Tokens of Appreciation for www.tofa.us and at the end the game everyone would agree to share the coins with others and regardless of the hands that were put together that night at the poker table everyone would benefit because there would be more of these tokens in the world.

Spiritual Awakening: Sharing Favor!!!

Through the spiritual awakening process I have learned the importance to share the favor that GOD has granted to us. A few months ago I entered a writing contest with The United States Junior Chamber of Commerce and wrote a piece abut the impact that The Jaycees had on me. A few weeks later I was informed I was one of the top 5 and won $100. I took $25 and made a personal donation to The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of West Boca Raton the other $75 went into my savings account so that when I was favored by GOD again I could help more people. In taking action and sharing the favor GOD has provided to me I have been able to inspire people to visit http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogg2.  In adopting anthems that allow me to praise GOD I have been able to open up channels to be placed in GOD’S favor and to continue to share his favor with others.  I have found that when we share all the good that GOD is doing in our lives we expand in our personal and professional lives and thus we are able to better make the mind, body, and soul connection.  I have  also found that when I consul the ascended masters like JESUS I get answers that  enlighten me while I am undergoing the spiritual awakening process. In sharing favor I am able to answer my calling and live a life on purpose that is enabling me to make positive changes and thus come alive. In coming alive and understanding that I am redeemed I am able to better serve the community and thus detach from outcomes.

 In being redeemed and embracing our redemption we are better able to share our favor and help other people to excel as they move forward in a positive direction of their dreams. It is when we embrace our redemption and begin to focus on positive emotions such as happiness we create peace, love, joy, and prosperity in our life.

Spiritual Awakening: I’ve Got Your Manifestation Right Here!!!

Manifestation Quote In the spiritual awakening process it is importance to understand how what we think about we create. As I sat in meditation this morning (1/30/2015) listening to the Chakra Clearing CD by Doreen Virtue I began to feel a sense of calmness and release come over me as I began to understand that with the help of GOD I could bring my thoughts to fruition. After the meditation I sat and I began to do an introspective search as to the way I was going about things and how things were occurring in my personal and professional life. I started to look at how things I had done were manifesting themselves in my life. I started looking at the energy that I was bringing to the events of my life and I realized that when things were challenging I was too attached to the outcome.  I realized that it is great to take action but you must look at how that action will affect others and how it will be perceived. As many of the frequent visitors to this blog know I am very involved with The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of West Boca Raton and my passion for raising money to help cancer patients, their friends, and their families runs very high.  The other day I received an email about the signing up of 8 new teams for Relay  and in my excitement did a reply to all as I thought that as a committee it is important that we support one another and celebrate each other. I asked everyone to please focus on getting more teams and to support the following fundraiser.

Hurricane Grill Give Back The event lead(chair) left me a very angry  voice mail and a very scathing email. I took many deep breaths and I politely expressed to him why I did what I did and he took it as me usurping his power. So I told him in the future I will let you handle all communication. The lesson I learned here is that many people are driven by EGO and thus get angry and because of this many be holding themselves back.  He did make it a point to tell me he was a millionaire  and had his own successes.  As part of the spiritual awakening process I have learned to not take anything personally, and to always do my best. When I detached from the situation and realized that I was dealing with someone who did not understand the idea that it is not about power and position but it is about everyone working together for the common good of the event so that we have a successful event. The way to avoid this in the future is to understand that EGO is edging god out and while many will profess to be following a GOD like path one must remember that not everyone who goes to church is pious and upstanding. When we detach ourselves from the outcome we are able to become better manifesters. In many cases we must come alive and alleviate the fear of walking in and speaking our truth so as to be of service and value to the community. In a way I manifested this because I want my fundraiser to be successful.

Spiritual Awakening: Times They Are A Changing!!!

As relevant today 38 years after this song was performed in 1966 it is important to understand that through out the spiritual awakening process the times will continue to change. As the times change it is up to us to adapt and become more self aware so we can make the changes to thrive. It is when we awaken spiritually that we are able to make changes. Today for those that watch the news you are bombarded by tragic events as media manipulation has led many to become sheep and not understand that every individual is a spiritual person with a power to affect change. Many of these sheep are sheep only because they have not been awakened yet. many are sheep because of the fear that they hold and have not realized that the world becomes a better place when individuals share a common goal of being of service and value to one another. I often think what would happen if we all shut off the TV, radio,  and social media for a week and began to interact and effectively communicate with one another?  When was the last time you knocked on a neighbors door just to say hello and see if they needed anything?  The world today has so many people that are self serving that they have lost their way and we are being inundated with the sad upsetting stories for the media is being used to control us.  It is time to change  and to awaken and to become the powerful individuals that we are that when we work together for a common goal things change for the better. I hear people complain everyday about things an when asked what action they are taking to change them I hear oh I can’t do anything. I tell them yes they can they can become engaged in the community and begin to change the world one person at a time. Some people feel powerless and they do not understand that they have a  divine power inside them that when connected no one can conquer.

It is when we reach down inside of ourselves and discover our own divinity that we will affect positive change. We will question why GOD does what GOD does for that is human nature, however their is always a reason. Recently I questioned why GOD would take a 15 year old boy from his family and call him home after a hit and run accident?  I could find justifiable answers  as it was a wake up call to all of us to take better care of the kids or maybe it was done to rally a community to become stronger and start talking to one another. The rationale answers and the humanistic answers all make sense however the true answer lies with in the spiritual teachings and the messages that lie with in. The answer I received when I asked GOD was to show people to value life. Many times we buy into the media manipulation that reports on cops being killed, which is tragic but they don’t tell of the 1000’s of cops who made it home safely after their shift. If we are truly to affect change we must look at the balance that is out there in our everyday life. I remember asking GOD why he took my mom on July 5, 2o12 and I was told so she wouldn’t suffer any longer and to use you fro a purpose of being love and showing love while helping cancer patients and their families. In understanding the messages I have been able to make effective changes in the lives of those I come in contact with.

There are many great tools available to us to help change the world however if we are to change the world we must first change ourselves.  In our transformational process that is led by our spiritual awakening we will not only transform our life but we will inspire others to transform theirs.  It is stated that the journey of 1,000 miles starts with the first step so it is time to take that first step and see what changes occur along our path. One way to change ourselves and those we come in contact with is to commit to being a lifter and spreading peace, love, joy, and prosperity wherever you go. When you use your power for good that you are rewarded. Stay Positive.

Spiritual Awakening: Leave Expectations At The Door!!!

Open-door-question.jpgThrough the spiritual awakening process an important aspect to learn and apply is that of detaching from expectations.  This lesson was very evident as I decided to put my passion into action and run POINTS FOR THE CURE FOOTBALL EDITION for The NCAA and NFL Games played from 10/22-10/28. I thought with all the chatter on Facebook and Twitter about football that this fundraiser for The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of West Boca Raton would be well received and the donations would start to pour in. I thought how easy, people agree to donate $.25 (25 cents) per point their team scored and then after the game visit http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogg2 and make their donation. I asked if their team was not playing that they donate $5 or if their team didn’t score at least 20 points that they would donate $5. I thought in taking action and promoting this concept that people would jump on board and the donations would simply flow in.  Boy was I mistaken I found out that many who profess to be doing well on social media are sometimes the excuse makers who are putting on a facade. After I got over my initial disappointment I began to meditate and I realized tat those who are going to participate and donate will do so and those meant to be involved will be. As soon as I turned back to my spirituality I realized that whatever money comes in at http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogg2 is a blessing. When I stopped focusing on all those who did not participate and started to show gratitude to those who did participate I felt better and realized that one must check the expectations at the door.

open doorAs you check  the expectations at the door  you begin to experience more joy as you allow things to flow and accept that not everyone will resonate with your message but the ones who do will support you. In checking our expectations at the door we allow ourselves to be open to receiving the messages that GOD wants us to hear and then we are able to take action and see what comes about.  In all we do we must change our perspective and be grateful for the chances we had to be of service and value and the lessons that we learned by taking action. I learned that perhaps Facebook and Twitter are not the best places to promote a project like POINTS FOR THE CURE or Fundraisers maybe it is better to go out into the community and share the message directly with the people.  I often say we never know who we will meet when out in the community and what doors may open. In the spiritual awakening process it is important to get out and share our journey as it might positively impact someone’s life.

Spiritual Awakening: The Great Discovery!!!

I watched today as some people observed Columbus Day and others debated why we celebrate a man who took credit for discovering a region that was already inhabited by Indians. Either way it provided a day of reflection as to what one may be discovering about their own self as they experience the spiritual awakening process. Columbus may get credit for discovering America and many may dislike this but the truth is he was the one who went on journey, put together his team of explorers, and secured the funding.  What Columbus’ adventures teaches us is that in order to grow in spirit we must be willing to take a journey, find people to lift us up on this journey, and invest in ourselves so as to make the journey successful. Along the way we will face many trials and tribulations and in overcoming them we will become stronger. Even after our initial journey is complete we will find that there will be those that continue to doubt us or who want to strip us of our accomplishments. There will be those who are consumed with the ugly head of jealousy that we must avoid and cut ties with so that our journey towards spiritual enlightenment can continue. As Columbus has his detractors even after all these years he still has his supporters. It is important to always align yourself with supporters so that you can continue to take action and make your own discoveries.

Like the crew of The Space Shuttle Discovery who went to explore space and as a result grew in mind, body, and spirit we too must take a journey to discover ourselves and thus create a mind, body, soul connection that allows us to flourish and to discover who we are and what our purpose is.  We need not go as far as space sometimes it could be a small walk to an area that we created to be our sacred space so that we can meditate upon the questions that we are seeking answers to. In finding our sacred space and being willing to delve deep into who we are and what our purpose is we begin to come alive by answering our calling and creating changes in ourselves that allow us to grow in spirit, in finances, in relationships, and in all that we do. It is when we begin to make great discoveries about ourselves that we are more able to make positive changes to bring things to fruition thus exceeding all goals we have set. In discovering who we are and what we are meant to do we are able to construct a plan with divine guidance that allows us to detach from outcomes, to overcome negative self talk, to leave all negative emotional charges behind, thus allowing us to follow our dreams and remove the naysayers from our life. There will always be doubters and haters and those who do not understand you and it is important to remove these people from your life and surround yourself with lifters, encouragers, and supporters.  One of the discoveries that I made recently is that it is important to go where I am celebrated not tolerated. I have stayed away from many events and activities where I did not feel appreciated and comfortable. This had led to the discovery that I have value and if I do not value myself no one else will. I have come to the realization that it is a fact of life that not everyone is going to like you and resonate with your message so stop trying to be a people pleaser and begin to honor yourself and GOD.  I have discovered that regardless of the material things you have acquired unless you are service and value to others all that has now meaning.
