Spiritual Awakening: The Curved Path!!!

 

 

Curved Brick Path It does not matter if your spiritual path is curved or if it is straight what matters is that you allow for the spiritual awakening process to take place and embrace the changes that will make you a better person as you make a mind, body, soul connection. As you become am action taker and put the excuse maker aside you will walk a path that at times will be straight and connect you from point a to point b and at times there will be a curve that may detour you. It is at times when you hit that detour that you stop and breathe and ask what direction will best serve me. Many times we walk our curved path and we come to a choice to take the path everyone else is on or to forge our own path. It is when we come to this crossroad that we must have faith in ourselves that we will make the correct choice and follow the path as GOD has intended. Through our awakening we learn that we can walk the path but the creator of our path is a higher source who will give us direction to follow through on his master plan for us. When we stop attaching outcomes to things and realize that everything on our path is in divine order just the way it is meant to be at this moment we begin to grow personally and professionally. As a result of this personal and professional growth we begin to be comfortable in shining our life and we stop worrying about what people say or think about us.

Many times our path will lead us to a labyrinth, which is a place for use to walk quietly and think about the path we are on as we seek enlightenment. In walking the labyrinth you have an opportunity to release blockages by totally surrendering to GOD and letting go. By walking the labyrinth you can create the oneness consciousness with GOD that will lead you in the direction that GOD intended for you. The labyrinth walk is a great way to reflect and release while receiving messages that will allow you to further your personal and spiritual development.  In the labyrinth you will experience a spiritual awakening that will open up your mind to receive and thus open the channels of creativity.

Spiritual Awakening: Find Your Purpose And Take Action

 

 It is said there are two important days in your life the day you are born and the day you figure out why.  As you search for your purpose be aware of the signs that are being presented to you in The Spiritual Awakening process. In GOD’s Kingdom we all have a purpose and every purpose is important. In answering this calling and living a life of purpose we manifest the life that we desire. If we are to  change and come alive and be of service and value to our community we must begin to find the purpose on our path to spiritual enlightenment. In being passionate and taking action we become successful in our personal and professional life. It is when we are aligned physically, mentally, and spiritually that we are able to act on our purpose and create peace, love, joy, and prosperity in our lives. It is important to be aware of the messages that are being sent to us so that we can act on purpose. In his book The Purpose Driven Life, Rick Warren speaks about doing one lesson a day for 40 days as it took 40 days for things to come to fruition through out The Bible. Starting today begin to take action on embracing your purpose. Each day look for the signs and act upon them accordingly.

 In understanding your purpose and being fully committed to fulfilling that purpose you will begin to find that your life flows freer  and that you will experience more joy. Many times we will find our purpose but for some reason we are held back from taking action. As a result of not flowing with our purpose we are left with the would of, should of, could of discussion and we find our self looking back hoping we could change things. Understanding we can not change the past and we can not control the future will enable us to live a life of purpose and shine in the moment.

Spiritual Awakening: Creating Sacred Space!!!

Kandee G- 2010 DecemberToday’s blog entry was is inspired by Coach Shantel Smith as she  was the first to teach me about Sacred Space as I attended one of her gratitude workshops. Before we began the session Coach Shantel laid out some basic ground rules that the room we were in was sacred space and we were able to express our feelings with out fear of being judged.  Coach Shantel had us all go to The Labyrinth and she explained the way to walk The Labryinth and how important it was to do it silently and allow our thoughts to just flow. The Labyrinth became a sacred space and the little sitting area became a place to gather thoughts and then journal allowing for major breakthroughs to occur. I learned that day that you can make any space a sacred space as long as you bring  the proper energy with you.

Everywhere you are is a sacred space. Creating a sacred space assists ...In experiencing a spiritual awakening I have realized the importance of creating a sacred space everywhere you go. In your home it can be a small area inside or outside where you go to get reenergized be it through meditation or just sitting & enjoying some peaceful music or just writing in your journal. In your office it can be a quiet area that you dedicate to use for 15 minutes a day  to gather yourself and re-center and ground yourself. On trips it can be  place that you felt a good resonation and vibration from and decided to make this a place to practice your spirituality while enhancing your spiritual awakening. The key is to remember that your divinity lies within yourself and you yourself are a sacred being.  I have often found going outside to my pool area and just quietly sitting and breathing creates a sense of tranquility that allows me to create sacred space & thus make the mind body soul connection.

Spiritual Awakening: 2014 The Year Of Transformation!

 

 Today’s blog entry was inspired by Mercy Me’s new song, Shake. The lyric blame it on the transformation really resonated with me as many people have come up to me and told me you changed and my answer is always yes we all evolve over time and if we are not growing we are dying. As I was thinking of a theme for 2014 I came up with 2014 The Year Of Transformation. I began to think of caterpillars and how they transform into butterflies. The transformation occurs as we have a spiritual awakening and like the caterpillar we form a cocoon and begin to form our figurative wings and when we are ready GOD allows us to fly and soar. It is during the transformation that we create an inner beauty that develops into our divinity and allows us to shine our light bright for others to see.  In transforming and embracing our spiritual awakening we begin to create transformative experiences that serve to enhance our personal and professional lives. We learn how to deal with hardships and find the lessons as a result of this spiritual awakening. Through the transformation we begin to see ourselves differently. In many circumstances it when we transform and look at things differently that our lives begin to change. It is when we declare that we will transform and take action to transform that  we improve our lives and the lives of those around us.

Spiritual Awakening: How To Make 2014 A Year Of Transformation!!!

I remember a lesson that my mom taught me year’s ago  about the butterfly representing completion. It was with this lesson that I created some transformative exercises to improve my personal and professional life. I give you some of these exercises to help you make 2014 A Year Of Transformation For You.

1: Like the butterfly spreads pollen going flower to flower you can spread your message by sharing it and thus resonating with others and while you are transforming they can transform as well.

Spiritual Awakening: Time For Gratitude And Gifts!!!

This year Thanksgiving Day and Hanukah happen together which had me thinking about gratitude and gifts. I was thinking how can I be a proactive action taker and make this a time for gratitude and gifts.  I came up with the idea to wrap the gifts and insert thank you cards listing the reasons I am thankful for the people receiving the gifts. As that Thursday will be marked by moments dedicated to gratitude and the importance or recognizing and sharing the gifts we have been given.  Think about starting the day with a note of gratitude  and exchanging the notes as you watch The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, then at half-time of the football game exchange another gratitude note, then after dinner you light The Hanukah Candles and exchange the gifts. As I look back over the last year I realize that I have much to be grateful for like 2 brothers, 1 sister, and a sister in-law who really like me and lift me friends who continue to support me and encourage me, and a dad who has been there to help me work through some issues.

 Since awakening  to and embracing my spirituality I have learned that gratitude opens up many possibilities and when you express gratitude great things begin to happen. I have begun to thank everyone and wish them GOD Bless You and the results have been amazing. By expressing gratitude and giving gifts you open up a realm of possibilities to be able to receive.  Thank you to Coach Shantel Smith who taught me the value of being grateful and encouraged me to keep a gratitude journal. Since keeping the journal I have found that the day I write what I am grateful for are some of the most productive days that I have.

Spiritual Awakening: Turning The Page!!!!

 As I turned the calendar to represent the beginning of a new month I looked back to the time when I had my first spiritual awakening and I begin to understand that each day we have a chance to turn the page. We have the opportunity to become an action taker and release all that no longer serves us as we awaken spiritually. In the spiritual awakening process turning the page is essential as it allows for personal and professional growth. A coach of mine Shantel Smith has taught me through my own spiritual awakening to go to places where I am appreciated not tolerated. In turning the page I have severed a few ties that do not serve me in my quest to expand personally, professionally, or spiritually. In desiring to make a mi, body, soul connection I have learned that each day is a chance to have a spiritual awakening and to turn the page.  In turning the page and being honest with yourself you begin to awaken spiritually and thus step into your power. In turning the page and making a conscious decision to live for the day you begin to find the inner joy and inner peace that you have been seeking.  In turning the page and putting the past behind you you find a freedom to move  forward. As you move forward and let the past go you begin to come alive and understand that it is your life to live and that you are guided by GOD thus you begin to experience goodness.
