I was at an event on 3/1/2023 and I met the owner of Lady Dragonfly Apothecary and Shop. We had a great encounter where we discussed the power of manifestation. At her booth she had some great candles with many differetnt scents each one wihich had a different meaning and purpose to help people with their spiritual development. Spiritual Awakening: Going The Distance!!!

       It has been 45 years since I made the commitment to go the distance when it comes to being of service and value to others. In those 45 years I have had several spIiritual awakenings and each one has gotten me closer to going the distance to obtain spiritual enlightenment. Every step of my journey has taught me valuable lessons that I hope will assist you in your quest to evolve personally, professionally, and spiritually. I have come to realize that we are all divine children of GOD and GOD wants us to prosper so that we can prosper others. I have also come to undertand that we are all at different places on our spiritual path and we must meet each other where we are so that we can be lifters. I have also learned that not everyone will resonate with your message so it is imperative to finmd the ones that do resonate with your message and surround yourself with those people. In making the conscious effort to go the distance you will begin to find your purpose and thus you will begin to manifest that which is neccessary to live a life of purpose. In finding your purpose and becoming an action taker you set in motion for wehat you were born to do while living on this earth.

      It is said that the two greatest days in a person’s life are the day they are born and the day they discover why. It is finding your why that you begin to awaken by coming alive and answering your calling to make changes that will improve your community. Many times as you evolve spiritually you will be able to go the distance by stepping into your power and understanding that you were born for this. As you continue to go the distance it is important to remember that you can fight through the pain and the challenges for if GOD brought you to it GOD will bring you through it. It is imperatibe that you attract positive energy flow into your life so you can finish your misson to positively impact the lives of others. The time for you is now as you continue on  apath to greatness by staying centered, focused, and grounded. One key to going the distance is to be grateful for what you have and to show appreciation in all that you do through out the day.

        We all have the ability to go the distance and to tap into our inner divinity so that we can create the life we desire while we help others to grow personally, professionally, and spiritually. We have the opportunity to enhance our life and the lives of others by walking in our truth and going the distance. I have come to comprehend the idea that what the mind can conceive, and the heart can believe you can achieve. Be the creator that you were meant to be and make a commitment to go the distance. Over the years I have taken action on many things and most of the times I have met with success. A few times I had set backs but each time I had a set back I took time to consult with The Ascended Masters, The Angels, GOD, and Jesus thus allowing me to continue on my spiritual journey that will one day have a finish line. If you face adversity on the way to the finish line simply turn to the scriptures and gain your strength back so that you can go the distance.

As you continue to go the distance you may desire to see the great nature that is a round you and the peacefulness that will engulf you when you decide to see the beauty that GOD has created. When you feel stuck and you want to stop simply take a breath and turn to GOD and GOD will help you go the distance. I have experienced many hardships and have wanted to quit but I didn’t I simply prayed that GOD would help me overcome the obstacles and allow mew to go the distance. Each day when you wake up as GOD to guide you so that you can go the distance. When you feel you have gonme the distance on a particular project ask GOD what is next for you so you can continue to go the distance.

As you experience a spiritual awakening you will have the opportunity to evaluate how you raise your vibration so as to create more positivism in your life. The question to ponder is can I get my vibration frequency up to the point where it is attract like minded people into my life who will help me to rise up and make positive changes in my personal, professional, and spiritual life? In answering this question and committing to becoming an action taker you will find that you begin to have more success in your life thus creating ore peace, love, joy, and prosperity in your life.  You have a power to make positive changes and to change the vibration that you radiate. Take a look at how you are approaching things and what you can do differently and then begin to make those changes and you will see that your life becomes filled with bliss and abundance.  Your ability to rise up is determined by how you react to situations as they unfold each day.

Spiritual Awakening: The Moment Of Awakening Has Come!!!

This past weekend I had the opportunity to announce 8 football games as part of The Gold Coast Pop Warner Football Championships. I am grateful for this opportunity as not only did it provide me a source of income but it also became a catalyst for spiritual growth. I arrived at the stadium on Saturday and asked the city staff person about getting a microphone and was told he was instructed not to give us one. I brought this up to the Gold Coast Pop Warner Football Representative and he made sure I had a microphone to announce the 4 games for that day. Despite the rain I was able to do a good job and use my talents to bring the game to life. On Sunday I arrived at the park and the sound system wasn’t set up and when it did get set up my voice sounded like the teacher from The Peanuts. I was a bit upset as I always strive to do my best when announcing a game. The situation was rectified as one of the teams brought their sound system and it worked out great. There were a few challenges like the site lines from the press box being obstructed at times however I was able to over come them and  do the job that I was hired to do. I share this because in the past I would have let anger rule the day and would have allowed it to ruin what I enjoy doing however this time I took a deep breath and allowed the issues to be corrected.  In being an action taker coming from a position of peace and understanding I was able to do my job and do it well and at the end I was able to have success.
In experiencing a spiritual awakening you will begin to become more and more aware and awake. As a result of understanding that the moment of awakening has come you will find yourself having a better understanding of who you are so that you can tap into your inner divinity and come alive. In coming alive you will begin to attract more peace, love, joy, and prosperity into your as your divine connection to GOD is strengthened. Last Night (10/30) I Hosted The Don’t Get Spooked By Cancer Fundraiser to benefit The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Sunrise at The Hooters in Sunrise. In the past I would have been upset by the people who passed by the booth and didn’t donate but last night I decided to be grateful for those who did give and to detach from the outcome. In doing this $202 was raised through the chance drawings and donations. In showing gratitude I was was able to help raise funds for research, education, advocacy, and services. I was able to simply understand that in another moment of awakening that if I simply do my best and am authentic then I will be rewarded with a successful event.  When we awakening spiritually and start to remove the negatives from our lives, what I like to call stinking thinking, and and we start to become more and more positive we enjoy a life filled with bliss and abundance.

Spiritual Awakening: Get The Fatigue Out!!!

The last couple of weeks have found me more fatigued as my human existence was interfering with my spiritual existence. The worries of life seemed to be weighing heavily on my mind and my motivation was waning as I began to allow the negative self talk and worry to consume my thoughts so there were a few days that I didn’t even get out of bed. I then realized that if I am to move in a positive direction toward my goals and dream I have to get the fatigue out. It was when I sat in reflection last night that I realized that the only way to overcome any worry and fear that is holding me back is to get the fatigue out. In making a commitment to make everyday count I got up this morning and went to The American Cancer Society Office to turn in money for The Relay For Life. I am now at $1076 raised toward a goal of $2500. I realized that if I am to exceed this goal I must take more action and get the fatigue out. As a result I have been sharing the donation page http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogg18 and asking people for donations and have met with success because I got the fatigue out. I have come to use the following poem as an anthem to help me get the fatigue out.

As I took time to rest and reflect I found myself rejuvenated with a sense of purpose where I was helping myself to overcome my own humanistic worries while also help other people to enhance their personal, professional, and spiritual life. It was when I shifted from a sense of worry to a sense of hop and purpose that I was able to get the fatigue out and be energized. It was when I sat down ad wrote in my gratitude journal and read passages from Rev. Dr. Dee Addio Mosses Book, heal Your Life With Meditation And Prayer and then read passages from The Miracle Minute by Mary Morrisey that I was able to get back on track with my mission to help other people excel by being of service and value to all those I come in contact with.

Spiritual Awakening: Don’t Conform Transform!

  I declared 2016 as a year of transformation and  came up with the tag line Don’t Conform Transform. I am not saying go out and break rules and put others in danger rather to find ways to do things differently and to transform your personal,professional, and spiritual life while being of service and value to others. When you commit to transforming and not conforming you will have your detractors as you are doing things that they wouldn’t do. When you do something that a very small percentage of the population would do and the majority is being constrained by the so called social norms you are going to have those who will not get what you are doing and try to get you to stop. This happens when you take action that makes you stand out and gets results. Do not let those trying to stop you convince you to stop doing things your way.

 I have adopted the song I Did It My Way by Frank Sinatra as an anthem through out my spiritual awakening as I have done things my way. True there were times when doing it my way rubbed people the wrong way because they didn’t understand that at the end of the day there are two entities to please ourselves and GOD.  When we do things our way we are going to encounter detractors, naysayers, and haters who just do not understand your methodology and who will be the first to condemn instead of encourage. Unfortunately many of these people are in positions of perceived power and allow that power to go to their heads and when someone comes along that does something different they freak out and try to hold you back not understanding that there are several ways to get the desired results and no one way is superior to the other. The key is do it your way and begin to transform instead of conforming. It is when you break the shackles of doubt, fear, and expected outcomes that you begin to see improvement in your life.

When we break free and let go and let GOD we begin to move forward in the positive direction of our dreams. When we remember that if GOD brought us to it GOD will bring us through it. When we do things as directed by GOD we are rewarded. Many times doing things based on the principle that I am a divine Child of GOD and GOD doesn’t make any junk brings on some detractors as they haven’t learned the principle to love themselves. Many have not come to understand that in order to create a oneness consciousness we must realize we are more alike than different.  I have always done things a bit differently and had a different perspective on life. As a result I have been able to do things on my own terms and  find success. Success to me is making a positive impact on the lives of people I come in contact with through out the day. I have learned that the way I carry myself and the way I do things will not always resonate with everyone but those that I resonate with will have their lives enhanced in some way.

We often stop ourselves from transforming because we worry about what other people will think and we forget that we are earth for a purpose. On many occasions I have been questioned on how I do things and I have said that I do not have to justify my actions to you for in the end we will all be judged by GOD. You can imagine how my attitude of stepping into my power can create some challenges because many people are set int he way they would do things and are so driven by ego that they have edged GOD out they they fail to see that there are more ways to do things and sometimes doing things different and non conforming  leads to more success because you have transformed instead of conformed.

Even the scriptures instruct us to not conform and to follow GOD. If you begin to live a life of purpose and directed by GOD you will begin to find more peace, love, joy, and prosperity.

 

It will those of us who question the so called norms of society and do things differently that will change our world. We will have our share of detractors and we must remember that it is not our job to drag them kicking and screaming onto the path  it is our job to shine our light and illuminate our world. Spiritual Awakening: God’s Conduit!!!

... , positioning ourselves as a conduit of God’s blessings to othersYou are a sacred conduit through which God flows into this world.....Have you ever switched on a light switch and wondered how it knows to turn on a light?  It is a conduit that sends a  message through an electric impulse that we perceive to be electrical energy and thus the light is turned on. This same principle apples to us as we undergo our spiritual awakening the switch for us is GOD as he turns us on and directs us in ways he wants us to fulfill the purpose he has for us. Just like the light will not illuminate the room when turned off or burnt out we can not function at our optimum level without being turned on by GOD. So many times we have a tendency to block the conductivity of GOD because we allow the human experience to interfere with the spiritual experience. When we allow ego, which is edging GOD out to drive us our energy levels and our ability to resonate and vibrate with others on a positive level is reduced. It is when we feel this reduction that we must take action to reconnect with GOD.Just like changing the lightbulb when it  burns out we must change our mindset to be more connected with GOD so that we can be the conduit that shows others that all things are possible when you have oneness consciousness and a connection to GOD. Many times we have blockages in our personal and professional life because the conduit to GOD has been broken. To fix this broken connection and become a more powerful conduit for GOD we must look inside and find out what it is that is creating these blockages and make the necessary repairs. Many times it will call for a rewiring of our belief system and the understanding that part of the spiritual awakening process entails letting go and letting GOD. This can be difficult as many times we do not control the outcome so we must remember to ask GOD to grant us the serenity  to change the things we can accept the things we can not and the wisdom to know the difference.

I have often acted on the messages from GOD and as a result have been rewarded. I often state to people it is not me I am just a conduit for GOD to use to show people that service to humanity is the best work of life. I have found out that it is not my job to bring people kicking and screaming onto a spiritual path but rather it is my responsibility to shine my light for others to see and to be a lifter for those I come in contact with. Last night (2/15/15) I stopped in at a local McDonald’s to use their restroom but I felt a little guilty about not buying anything so I bought a  soft serve ice cream and a strawberry cream pie. As I left there was a gentleman asking fro money I had no money to give him but I gave him the strawberry cream pie and said GOD Bless You and I went to my car. This was one way in which I could be a conduit for GOD and to be of service and value.  In doing good deeds without the expectations of return you will be rewarded. I have come to realize that GOD loves a cheerful giver and we all have something to give.

Spiritual Awakening: What’s It All About?

 As I woke up this morning the question, What’s It All About, kept permeating into my consciousness and I thought I would do my best to answer that question as it relates to me and my spiritual awakening. I often say to people that it is not about the fancy car as my Cobalt will get me to the same place a Mercedes or  BMW will. It is not about the big house because as long as I have a safe place to rest my head at night I will be okay. It is not about the fancy clothes because I am the same person with a suit on as I am with ripped jeans and a tee shirt. I am then asked JDOGG what is it all about? My answer it is about being of service and value and knowing that at the end of the day you made the life of others better while enhancing your personal and professional life. I often think what could be done with the $52,000 someone spent on a Corvette? My answer is always  could have bought a practical car for $22,000, taken $10, 000 and invested it, taken $20,000 and helped many charitable organizations or people in need. Imagine being able to  take action and host a community barbeque for $6,000 and have people share why they deserve $2,000 and then plant seeds for prosperity by giving 7 people that seed and having them chronicle how the money was being used.

 As I listened to this instrumental by Pat Metheny I began to understand that what it is all about is living your life on purpose and making a positive impact in the community where you live, work, and play creating a massive shift toward positivity in the world. I began to understand that it is very important to think globally and act locally. Through out the spiritual awakening process there will be signs and messages as to what GOD would like you to do. It is important to realize that these messages are meant to be acted upon. When acting on these messages the answer to what is it all about will be revealed to you.  When you realize that it is about answer the calling GOD has for you and no one else you will begin to achieve more success in your life.

Spiritual Awakening: Maneuvering Twisted Roads!!!!

 In our personal life and our professional life we will have the level of our faith and divinity tested and our spirituality may be shaken. It is at those times when you must decide to be an action taker and maneuver the twisted roads. There was a time in my life when I did many deals on a promise and a hand shake and many times these deals worked out because both parties involved understood that our integrity and reputation were on the line and that in the end GOD knew what we did or did not do. Unfortunately in today’s marketplace not everyone  holds the belief that their word is their bond and when it is all said and done people will forget what you said or did but they will never forget how you made them feel thus I now get everything in writing and spell everything out. I let the people I am working with know up front that if they violate terms of the agreement there will be extreme consequences. I truly do not like  to do this as in really conflicts with my spiritual belief that people should honor one another and honor GOD, however I have come to learn that not everyone will be as credible as I am and  without an agreement you will get burned.

Spiritual Awakening: Getting Wet!!!

Rain ! | Deep from the soul Living in South Florida I have experienced rain and torrential thunder storms and each time when I am out and about I hear people say don’t get wet.  I could never understand this as the rain is a cleansing agent and a nurturing agent. True it may be an inconvenience but think about it the energy that is in that rain and in that storm. When we were children we would relish the fact that we could play in the rain. There was a fascination in the rain. This fascination subsides in many of us in our adult lives as rain becomes what we perceive to be a bad thing when in reality it is a good thing. The power that the water in the rain has is amazing it can help to grow grass, grow fruits and vegetables, clean the oil off our roads, fill the basins for our drinking water, and create a cleansing energy when you just stop for a moment and watch the rain fall. Water is a powerful element when it comes to experiencing a spiritual awakening.  From the beginning of time water has been a powerful elixir used to cleanse and balance and create.

In the Catholic Church water is used to baptize a child and thus create a purity. Recently many adults have accepted Jesus as their savior and have been baptized again feeling the anointing of the holy spirit. With this anointing they are born again and spiritually awakened and able to pursue their purpose.  Water also plays a major role in The Jewish Faith as it is used in many ceremonial practices such as entering a home after a funeral when all those who enter the home wash their hands prior to entering the home to wash the concept of death of them and to become pure again.
