Today as I was driving I heard this song by The Climax Blues Band and I began to think sometimes during our spiritual awakening we reach a climax which ends the session of our meditation that gives us a new found direction in what our purpose is and what to do to bring it to fruition. When we finish a project it is the climax of that activity and we look at what we accomplished where we may have fallen short and we make adjustments. In reaching that climax we have a sense of joy as positive energy is released. After the climax of an event or a speech or a race or athletic event we take a moment to reflect and relish in the accomplishment. Then we move on the next project or activity and use the experience to propel us forward on our path toward spiritual awakening.
Spiritual Awakening: Danica Patrick Inspires With Daytona 500 Achievement
On Sunday Danica Patrick made history by being the female driver to start a Daytona 500 from The Pole Position. At one point Danica Lead The Daytona 500 becoming the first female driver to do that. When the Daytona 500 ended Danica Patrick was in 8th place. She also is part of history as she is 1 of 13 drivers to lead a lap at The Indiapolis 500 and The Daytona 500. Danica’s accomplishments show us that when we are spiritually awakened and focused on what our purpose is that great things happen. Hearing Danica speak and giving praise to GOD helped me to realize and I hope it helps you to realize that when you make a mind,body, soul connection and give praise to GOD that yu begin to reap rewards and thus be more inline to expand upon your spiritual awakening.
Spiritual Awakening: Beatles Deliver Message of Hope!!!
As I watched the gloom and doom of the news this past weekend I turned inward and began to think that as bad as the media is portraying certain events things are actually getting better. I visited www.happyherald.com to find positive upbeat news and excellent advice columns. As I read the positive stories it reaffirmed my idea that things are getting better. I then began to watch Minute With Maxwell videos done by John Maxwell and as I watched these videos I realized that it is up to ne as an individual to enhance my personal and professional life to make things better. I then began to read about action takers like Leslie Bruce and Karen Binnette Goldberg Raport of Feel The Hugs and their mission through www.feelthehugs.com. Then the phone rang and it was Shanta Tanksley from www.labonitakidz.com sharing good news about the magazine. Then I went back into Starbucks and I witnessed a random act of senseless kindness when a gentleman in line bought the women in front of him a coffee. The ideea is that things are getting better.

Across ouir universe we are all divinely connected and when we recognize each others divineness we being to sow our good and make things better. There are many ways to make things better:
1: Rick Figley and Stacy Sossner taught me this amazing pricincipal and I thought using it to greet people or say goodbye to people would be a great thing as it resets many situations and allows for people to move forward in a positive direction. I recommend that as you go through the day to share this greeting or salutations and then recognize how the environment around you changes.

As I was deciding on what to blog about today to help those on their spiritual path to enhance their personal and professional lives I jumped on YouTube and I found this fountain of inspiration. As I began to drink from this fountain I began to think about all those who inspire others and how they are adding to the fountain of inspiration.
In this fountain of inspiration I found this video and the affirmations. I then remembered the scene in Dead Poet’s Society, where Robin Williams Character, Mr.Keating, reminds us to Carpe Diem ( Seize The Day).
You have the opportunity to seize the day and drink from your own fountain of inspiration.As you become inspired and you awaken and accept that you are destined for greatness you will begin to see changes in your personal and professional life and your light will shine brightly on others.

I chose to highlight Arnel Pineda today as he shows us all the power of spirituality and using our talents to improve our life and the lives of others. When you read Arnel’s full biography at wikipedia you learn of the hardships he faced and how he never lost faith and kept doing what he loved to do. Being passionate and taking action will often lead to success. I found hos story to be inspirational and it is my hope that when things are challenging on your spiritual path that you will take his story and others shared here to help you face these challenges and continue on your path.

Videos of The Zoo performing cover songs by Journey, Survivor, Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Air Supply, The Eagles, Kenny Loggins, Stryper and other popular acts from the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s, began appearing on YouTube.com in February 2007. On June 28, 2007,[8]Neal Schon of Journey contacted Noel Gomez, a longtime fan and friend of Pineda who uploaded many of these videos, to ask for Pineda’s contact information. Schon sent an e-mail to Pineda inviting him to audition for Journey. Pineda initially dismissed the e-mail as a hoax, but after being persuaded by Gomez, he finally replied to Schon’s e-mail. Ten minutes later, Pineda received a phone call from Schon.[9] On August 12,[10] Pineda, along with his manager Bert de Leon, flew to Marin County, just north of San Francisco, for a two-day audition.[11][12] The star-struck Pineda was welcomed warmly but he described the audition as “nerve-wracking, tense”.[13] On December 5, 2007, Pineda was announced as the lead singer of Journey. Spiritual Awakening: Dreaming of Angels On A Rainy Night
This blog post was inspired by Abba’s song I Have A Dream. As I sat in Starbucks on a rainy dark Friday Night after what was a challenging day as my car didn’t start and all my pland needed to be adjusted and then spending $246 on repairs which set me back a bit and put me in a finacial perdiciment that I wasn’t planning for I realized that many times when something negative occurs it is our belief in Angels and staying positive that comes through so I took a deep breath and decided that I would write an entry to empower and inspire the reader. I sat and began to take moment to look deep inside and to ask my angels to guide me and they all kept saying share your dreams and ask others to share their dreams.
My dream is for the angels to guide me to one day announce large sporting events like a Superbowl and to bring much joy to all those in attendance. This is a big dream and I know with the help of the angels that it can come true. When you seek guidance and support you can turn to your angels and the answers will appear. I think of so many times when I have asked the angels for guidance and they have directed me to the right place showing that everything is in divine order the way it should be.
Spiritual Awakening: Building MO, Keep On Keeping On
Shawn Doyle and Lauren Anderson collobarate on a great book that inspired this blog entry, MO as it explores the lives of everyday people who make the best of their situation and continue to keep on keeping on. As I interviewed Shawn on 9/3 and Lauren on 9/10 I began to realize that the key to personal development is to be grateful for what you do have and to keep on keeping on. I began to think about all those people who are disgruntled and complain about their circumstances and I feel ike bgrabbing them and saying hey wake up it is not the circumstances, the economy, or others it is you. I know I can not physically do that so I use this blog as an outlet to encourage others to build motivation in their lives and in the lives of others. I am reminded of The Zig Ziglar quote “People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing – that’s why we recommend it daily. ” It is in doing something motivational daily that we develop and grow.may times it is jus engaging someone you meet out in public just by saying hello. I have often stated that I use a 3 foot rule, where if someone is within 3 feet of me I will talk to them. Thank you to Lisa Douglas Past President of The Florida Jaycees for first teaching me this technique.

Most people think that motivation for them is out of reach. They have an average job at an average company. This book is intended to give people hope by shining the light on people who are in average regular jobs but are amazing.
In the book we offer inspiring profiles of a Service Advisor, Hot Dog vendor, Airline Gate Agent, Seafood Market Owner, Construction worker, Seamstress, Fitness Trainer, and a Taxi driver who all have the magic MO! qualities.
These were people in ordinary jobs, but despite that fact, they decided NOT to be ordinary. They performed their jobs brilliantly, exceptionally, differently and exceeded everyone’s expectations of what that job “should” be every day. More importantly everyone around them knows it, sees it and acknowledges it.
This post was inspired by Up With People as I just saw a trailer for the documentary Smile Until It Hurts, which chronicled the Up With people group or as many have described them a movement. The are many people who support what Up With People stands for while others are still questioning their motives. I find what Up With People does to be spiritually moving in shifting the consciousness of those who attend theor shows and understand the value of a smile, a kind word, and respect. Imagine if we all took the stance that I will not judge you and I will get to know you as I continue on my spiritual path. It is when we begin to implement the ideas of peace, love, and happiness that we begin to see both personal and spiritual growth. I had the privilige to work with the cast when they came to Coral Springs, FL. in the late 90’s and I was moved by those I worked with as they were from different cultures had varyibg beliefs but were able to take action to put their differences aside and realize that together working in harmony for a higher good that a positive impact could be and was made that week. They did many community service projects and helped to mark Martin Luthe King Jr. Day with a special performance at The Citi Centre(now known as The Coral Sprongs Center For The Arts). Their message was one of hope and you could see the dedication of the performaners and the staff to deliver a message but also to allow that message being spoken through actions.

Spiritual Awakening:Oscar Pistorious, Gabby Douglas Inspiring The World
OscarPistorius became the first amputee track athlete to compete in the Olympics & he advanced to the 400-meter semifinals after finishing second in his heat. His triumphant story continues to inspire the world. He was treated like a child with 2 legs growing up his mother would tell his brother put on your sneakers and Osccar put on your legs and if your brother climbs a tree you climb the tree. I have found Oscar’s story to be one of inspiration showing people that regardless of obstacles you can overcome and achieve greatness.
How many times have you been told you can not do something or have you allowed your negative self talk to get in the way? For Oscar Pistorious his taking of action and training to become a top athlete despite the obstacle of being a double amputee holds a message of hope and achieveent for all as we continue to step into our greatness. Their is something very spiritual about watching this man compete as you can feel the energy he brings to life come through the TV. The positive vibes that he gives off enhances all those who watch. So the next time you think you can not do something think of Oscar and all he has overcome and go for it.
Gabby Douglas’s journey to the Team Gymnastics Gold and The Olympic All Around Gold was paved with much sacrifice as she moved from her mother’s home across country to DesMoines, Iowa to train. Her mother a single mom made many sacrifices so Gabby could train to become an Olympian. Her older sister encouraged her not to quit the sport when she wanted to walk away. Gabby stuck with it and in London performed exquistely to capture 2 gold medals. Gabby’s comments after winning The Women’s All Around only solidifies the idea that we are guided by a higher being. What is your higher calling and what sacrifices will you make to be a shining light of hope to others.
