As I sat on the bench in prayer at the cemetery today paying respects to my mom who passed a year ago the message for this blog entry came to me in the words Finding The Positive. Through challenging times my mom would find ways to make me and my brother feel better about the situations we were facing. As I sat on the bench all the positive memories started to come back. There was a sense of joy and sadness at the same time. I looked to the heavens and thanked god for all the time he gave me to have with my mom. I thanked my mom for all the great times she gave me over the year. I then wen to my car and retrieved the stone I brought with me to symbolize that I was at the cemetery, I cleansed it in the fountain and then found a place to place the stone and said a prayer. As I started the car I felt the presence of my mom telling me to stay positive.
As I left the cemetery I found it quite fitting that I would be driving in a thunder and lightning storm as my mom disliked driving in these storms. It was like a message saying I am with you. Instead of complaining I put on the windshield wipers, drove slow and thanked GOD for nurturing the earth and cooling things off. As I arrived at Starbucks the rain stopped. Shortly after while I was inside the heavens opened then a butterfly flew by my window. I believe that was my mom checking in and saying everything is all right.
Today’s blog entry was inspired by The Beach Boys song Good Vibrations as I began to explore the fact that we are all energy and we vibrate at different levels however when the resonance is matched we tend to have a positive experience. Many times it is important to step back and ask am I resonating with this person, are our frequencies in sync, is this interaction serving me in a positive way? If the answer is no then you have two choices change your vibration and make a shift or walk away and come back when the interaction will be more positive. Many time it is as simple as deciding to give off good vibrations. When you give off good vibrations you tend to attract others who give off good vibrations and thus you enhance your personal and professional life. In many cases you set in motion the type of interaction that you will have simply by the energy that you bring to the situation.

As I listened to Reach FM, a Christian Music Station, today I heard this song and decided to ask the harsh question of What The F Are You Waiting For? I have begun to ask this question more often to those who say I would like to ( Fill In The Blank). I ask this for I know it is when you take action that things start to unfold and the universe begins to deliver the resources needed to bring your desires to life. How many times have you missed out or not started something because of the excuses you made or you didn’t truly believe in your heart that you were able to accomplish great things. What has been holding you back from getting in touch with your spirituality and your greatness. One of the first blog entries here is titled Stepping Into Your Power in which I encouraged people to take charge and begin whatever they have been waiting to do. Here it is 16 months later and I can not tell you how many people still haven’t taken action to do what they have said they want to do, to them I ask What The F Are You Waiting For?
How many times has someone said I’ll do it tomorrow and then you hear about that person dying and not finishing a project or in many cases not even starting the project. I recently heard a gentleman, Cliff Townsend, A Mind Set Coach speak and one of the quotes he used in his presentation really stood out about where the wealthiest place on earth is and it isn’t the oil fields of Saudi Arabia, The World Banks, The Mall, or Affluent Communities, it is the local cemetery. The cemetery is filled with many unbirthed inventions, art, music, businesses, and other projects because many people there kept waiting until tomorrow. So again I ask you What The F Are You Waiting For?
Spiritual Awakening: Listen To Your Inner Voice!!!!
As I sat at Starbucks preparing to write this blog entry I overheard people speaking about seminars and the work they do my inner voice directed me to go to my car get my business cards and introduce myself to them. I did and they complimented me on my voice. This led me to write this entry to encourage you to listen to the inner voice that leads you in a positive direction. This inner voice or divinity will lead you to many successes. It is when we begin to shut out the negative self talk and shift from the stinking thinking to the positiveand empowering self talk that we begin to become more spiritually awake and realize that we have amazing power within us to be great. Many times people miss out on opportunities to step into their greatness because they are so busy listening to the nay sayers and allowing their negative self talk get in the way. Today I encourage you to eliminate that negative talk and listen to the positive inner voice telling you that you can do it.
Being open to receive messages and taking action will lead to success, I often say what the mind can conceive, and the heart can believe, you can achieve. I have many examples of when my inner voice has led me to success. It was at the those times that I chose to step back, breathe, and then do. It is when you make the mind, body, and soul connection that you begin to tune in more and more to the inner voice that guides you in a positive direction. It is when you just allow things to flow and don’t sit in judgement and just do what you are guided to do that you will find more successes.
As I was seeking what to write about today I found this song and it really struck a chord as I have learned that GOD provides and it is when you listen to his messages that he delivers that you truly find your way and your purpose. I have come to learn that everything happens for a reason. A big example of this was yesterday when my car needed 2 tires and an oil change. Money has been tight for me as I continue to secure clients and projects and seek full time work, the bill came to about $220 and I was able to pay for it and then the answer to my question of where will the money cone from to replace the money I spent it dawned on me that I had $250 coming from an investment I had a few years ago, so the way was provided by GOD. Prior to replacing teh tires I prayed and asked GOD to get me to Boca Raton, FL safe so I could drop off te money I had collected for The American Cancer Society Relay For Life Of West Boca Raton. All the way to Boca I was worried about the tire exploding. The tire didn’t explode I made it to Boca Raton safely, dropped of the money, and made it to The Good Year Store and the car was fixed. While the car was being fixed I followed the message to go an collect donations for The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of West Boca Raton. In 2 hours I colledted $28. Despite the rain and some challenges I was successful.
As I walked back to pick up my car I began to sing and the words were Walking With Jesus Daily. From what I recall my signing went something like this. Feeling AloneI turn to you and you are there walking with Jesus daily, singing in gratitude and joy freely, alone no more, giving more, walking with Jesus daily, watching over me giving peace, love, and happiness creating bliss walking with Jesus daily. After singing this out and giving praise to GOD I saw a shift in my attitude and the attitudes of thoseI dealt with the through out the remainder of the day. As I was stuck in traffic I turned to Reach FM and was filled with the joy of music and praise and upon arriving home I thanked Jesus for providing the way.
As I continue to walk in faith i find good things happening. Yes their are struggles financially, however knowing that GOD will make a way makes it less burdensome. GOD is within all of us and when we get in touch with out divinty we begin to receive better outcomes. We have choices to go with GOD and let things unfold for us by taking action to praise GOD and shine our light by lifting others up in prayer and being of service and value or to question GOD and wondering why things are happening the way they are. God always makes a way sometimes the road is tough and fraught with challenges because GOD will make a test into a testimony. Some times the road is easier as GOD wants to prosper and reward you.
Spiritual Awakening: Tools To Allow God To Make A Way
1: Give glory to GOD. Do not do deeds to glorify yourself or for accolades do it to show respect and glory to GOD.
2: Give praise to GOD. Pray and lift others up in prayer. As ypu praiseand thank GOD you will begin to open the gates to receive as yuo will shine your light and thus give permission to others to shine their light.
3: Meditation is a great tool as you quiet your mind and thus make a mind, body, soul connection allowing GOD to make a way.
4: By being of service you will allow GOD to make a way. From the moment you awake to the moment you rest find ways to be of service and value to all those you encounter.
5: Exercising to praise music such as this song Shackles, originally performed by Mary Mary and presented here by Mandisa is a fantastic way to allow GOD to make away.
6: Reading books like these wil, provide insight and enable you to let go of prior beliefs and put negative events behind you as you make positive progress in your quest to allow GOD to make a way.

Spiritual Awakening: Where Is The Strangest Place You Received A Message?
I have received messages in many forms and in many places, however this morning I received a message from the strangest place of all my toilet in my bathroom. There I was I had just finished my business and went to flush and the chain leading from the handle to the flapper had broken. At first I looked up to heaven and asked GOD why? I then figure out how to get the toilet to flush, called Total( My service repair provider), and then the answer came to me, the message was to break the chains that are holding me back and to take the day for much needed introspection. As I mentioned in an earlier entry signs are all around us and it is importnat to seek the meanings of the messages contained in the signs. This prompted me to aske everyone where is the Strangest Place You Received A Message?
The messages we receive from GOD come in all sahpes, sizes, and in many strange places, however it is when we begin to understand the messages that we are receiveing that we begin to create a flow and the vibration necessary to connect with GOD and create the life we desire. It is said that which you focus on expands. Think about what you are focusing on and how things are happening and then look for the messages that may be coming to you in many cases in what you would consider a little strange.

As I awoke today I began to ponder the meaning of 12/12/12 and realized that it is another power energy day where certain portals will be made available to those who are on a spiritual path to become more enlightened and thus to continue their expansion and their quest for transformation so as to positively impact the world. Tapping into the number of positive energy fields today will help you to become an action taker where your anthem will allow you to have an awakening and to follow your calling. Today can be a great day to affect change in your personal and professional life as you begin to come alive and get involved with your community. Those reoccurring dreams and messages can now be acted upon with the confidence that you will be emotionally ballanced and the outcomes will be favorable. You feelings will be powerful and more easily understood today.One way to create more positive energy today is to engage in fellowship by sharing encouraging words with all those you come in contact with. A smile will go along way in tapping into the positive energy of today. The way you react to the flow today will help in answering the question is today just another day or is a day for awakening?
I am asked on many occassions JDOGG what do you use to stay focused, motivated, and grounded? I ususally answer I use songs that have a message or a calming effect like the ones above. I sit quietly just listening to the music and bock everything else out. When the song ends I will remain quiet and began to visulaize desired outcomes that I seek and that helps to motivate me. Dr. Dee Adio-Moses, and reading Mary Morrissey I have found on the days that I do this I am super motivated and don’t allow negative energy to affect me. I have found that by being motivated and going with the flow and increasing the positive vibrations and being a shining light that good things happen. I walked into a small paint store in West Boca on 441 south of Palmetto Park and the women and man there were very open and receptive and they each gave a dollar and took brocures for The American Cancer Society Relay for Life of West Boca Raton. We spoke about helping the small business owners. This motivated me to continue.
Today as I was working in the club room at my clubhouse is Sunrise, FL a worker from our complex cam in and he was wearing a Christmas Hat and jingle bells. I commented how I liked his Christmas Spirit and he replied thanks just doing my part to spread some joy. I thought for a moment and thought he is walking in spirit. I thne began to think how can we all walk in spirit and show the 7 fruits of spirit through our actions and then I thought simply by allowing ourselves a moment to be grateful for what we have and having the ability to share with others. Today answer the question of what am I grateful for and how will help others. You will see that soon you are walking in spirit and your entire outlook will change.

Spiritual Awakening: Zig Ziglar Leaves Legacy of Inspiration
It was abou 10 AM on 11/28/12 when the news came across the wire that Zig Ziglar, The Great Motivator, made his transition at age 86. His lessons will live on for many years as they have been written and recorded and they will resonate as they make sense. Think about the first quote as it shows us that we can be great if we get started. The 2nd quote is so very true as the law of reciprocity is true. The idea of being motivated everyday is importnat as it propels us to success. As I reflected on Zig Ziglar’s teachings I began to think about the idea of being inspired and inspiring others.
On way to inspire others is to do good deeds. By helping others you begin to find yourself as you find a joy in the knowledge that your act of love and kindness enhanced someome’s life. One of the good deeds that I do each year is particpiate and emcee The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of West Boca Raton.
