Spiritual Awakening: Please Rise!!!



In the course of my life these 3 anthems have played a role in my spiritual development. The first one is The National Anthem of Israel, the second  is The National Anthem of The Philippines, and The third is The National Anthem of The United States. each one brings me back to times that helped in my personal, professional, and spiritual development. In the last few days as I sat in quiet meditation I began to reflect on the symbolism of each anthem and how they molded me in becoming an action taker. I then realized that as I have done many cultural events I have stated the words please rise for the playing of (Insert Anthem Here). I then started to think how many times I must of stood for each of these anthems be it competing in The local Macabi Games, competing in swim meets, or serving as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in The Philippines. In each case I stood and really focused on the words and found that they shared a common thread of respecting and honoring your country while being of service and value to others. Over the years when I have announced games or emceed events I have seen many people sit idly bye and not respect the colors of the nation that is being presented. Not standing for an anthem really doesn’t do anything. If you are unhappy with the ways things are in a country and you believe you have the power to change it then it is up to you to tap into your inner divinity and take action to improve the quality of life for everyone. This is a big responsibility so now is the time to rise and take action to spread positivism.

As you move forward and rise toward the life GOD has planned for you you will start to understand that if you are given great talents it is important for you to share them. When I was Bar Mitzvah in 1978 I spoke of the fact we have a responsibility to be of service and value in all that we do as we owe it to those who sacrificed so much so that we can have a better life. Many said how full of wisdom I was for a 13 year old others said I was full of something else. Now here I am nearly 39 years later sharing the same concept encouraging people to rise for one another and to be of service and value. Over the years the concept of being of service and value have entered my life on many occasion. When I entered high school I looked for ways to help others and this continued through out my college days and today I do my best to show people that service to humanity is the best work of life. Again some say the message is full of hope and healing while others say it is full of something else. I have decided to focus on those who are encouraging and supportive and to allow doubters, haters, and naysayers to go pound sand. As a result of sticking to the belief that I was put on the earth to serve others I have risen to heights that i could never have imagined. I have had experiences that some only dream about. I have accepted that there is much expected from me because I have always given 100% when I chose to rise up and become an action taker. If we are going to be the change we want to see in the world we must rise and show respect for ourselves and others by answering our calling and coming alive by positively impacting the lives of those we come in contact with. It is imperative that we grow personally, professionally, and spiritually by rising up and showing respect and compassion to others.

Spiritual Awakening: The Freedom Path!!!

Over the last few weeks a common theme continued to fill my daily experiences with the common thread of freedom. In thinking of breaking free by letting go and letting GOD I quickly realized that if I am to grow personally, professionally, and spiritually I must become an action taker. I sat in meditation and received a message that I was not the only one who was longing to break free and become more and more spiritually aware and awake. As certain events unfolded in the realm that we call human existence I realized that in order to be on a freedom path I must break the chains and remove blockages by shifting thoughts that were limiting me to thoughts that are limitless. It was time to look at how I can achieve things and to take action to move forward in a positive direction of my dreams. It was time to take on new opportunities and challenges by taping into my inner divinity and simply making a mind, body, soul connection.It was time to truly internalize the belief that what the mind can conceive, the heart can believe, and you can achieve. It was time to really study the four agreements and come into alignment spiritually, mentally, and physically. It was time to detach from outcomes and simply give 100% in all I did by following my passion and taking action. In making adjustments and getting back to my spiritual base I was able to reawaken spiritually and thus be rewarded for my actions by taking solace in the fct that I am a divine child of GOD and GOD has great plans for me. I have also learned to simply stand in your truth and your truth will set you free.
It is said the two greatest days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why. When you discover your purpose you are able to move along the freedom path thus awakening spiritually so that you can continue to be of service and value to others. In getting on the freedom path we begin to see why we are here and how much of an impact we are making. Sometimes it is simply a matter of letting go and facing everything and rising. As you break free and understand that you have a purpose in this human existence you will begin to attract the  resources necessary to attract peace, love, joy, and prosperity into your life. If each day you do something to fulfill your purpose you will find that bliss and abundance will enter your life. It is when you remove the shackles you begin to feel free.

Spiritual Awakening: All You Need Is A Little Bit of Heart And Soul!!!

The year was 1987 and I was getting ready to graduate from Hofstra University. Heart and Soul was one of the top songs that year and it became an anthem of mine. As I sat in the Hofstra Gymnasium waiting for my name to be called it occurred to me that as long as I put a little bit of heart and soul into all I was going to do that things would turn out okay. As I continue on my spiritual journey I understand more and more that it takes a bit of heart and soul to attract peace, love, joy, and prosperity into your life. Many times it is just a matter of going forward with an idea regardless of what others might say about the idea and understanding that if you put your heart into what you are doing and you create a oneness consciousness that everything will work out for the best. I have come to understand that it is important to conceive it in your mind and to believe it in your heart so that you can achieve it. If you are an avid reader of this blog you know the concept that I preach which is passion+ action = success. When you put your heart and soul into anything people will sense your passion and will vibrate on the same level with you and as a result support you. There will be those who will not resonate with you for they are not ready to walk the path that leads to spiritual enlightenment. When you encounter these people simply remember it is not your job to drag them kicking and screaming onto the path but it is your job to keep putting your heart and soul into what you are doing and to shine your light bright to illuminate the world understanding that when they are ready they will experience their own spiritual awakening. When you embrace the spiritual awakening process and put your heart and soul into everything you do there will be no stopping you.
When you become heart centered and make the commitment to put your heart and soul into everything that you do you will see that you are unstoppable. Remember that you are a divine child of GOD and GOD wants you to prosper. As you become more loving and caring you will begin to attract loving and caring people into your life who will lift you to heights that you never thought possible. Many times we are told that something is impossible when in reality when you break the word down it says I am possible. When you start to put your heart and soul into things you being to see the realm of endless possibilities.  Recently someone said that a group couldn’t raise $7,000 in 2 days and reach a milestone. I piped up and said yes it can be done all you have to do is believe and take action. Guess what the goal of raising $7000 in 2 days was achieved because people put their heart and soul into the effort and began to believe that people would help.

Spiritual Awakening: Such Is Life!!!

As we go about dealing with our human existence we must realize that in taking action we are going to experience many ups and downs. When we experience the downs that is when we must call on our inner divinity and get reconnected with GOD so that we can move forward in a positive direction of our dreams. In our spiritual journey we will encounter many different people and situations and it is important to remember that we can only control how we react to the people and the situation. It is important to realize that not everyone will resonate with you or your message so it is important to simply be your authentic self and just let everything flow according to GOD’S plan and not try to force your plan into existence. On many occasion we will say such is life or it is what is simply because we have yet to discover a different way. If you do not like the way things are going be an action taker and become more aware and awake and make a change. In coming alive and making changes you will attract those who want to support you along your journey and begin to eliminate those who do not enhance your personal, professional, or spiritual life. Over the years as I have been committed to being of service and value to the community I have encountered many people who have shot down my ideas and many that have been supportive. I have found myself on many occasion focusing on the negative instead of celebrating the positive. It has taken me many steps to change from stinking thinking to aromatic thinking. When I focused on the positive things and celebrated the support I have received I have found myself centered, focused, and grounded thus reaching heights I never thought imaginable. When I focused on the negative I found myself in a very dark place that created blockages that held me back from stepping into my power and achieving the greatness that is my birthright. It was when I encountered the darkness that I quickly reminded myself that only by shining my light bright can I illuminate the world. As a result I found myself accomplishing and exceeding goals and attracting more peace, love, joy, and prosperity into my life. I have come to understand that not everyone I encounter shares my passion and love for life and thus I must change the things I can accept the things I can’s and have the wisdom to know the difference.
Life will go on with or with out you so it is important to understand that this is the day that the lord hath made so be glad and rejoice in it. The attitude you bring to life will determine your altitude. I have come to understand that it is important to go where you  are celebrated and not just tolerated. I have come to understand that it is important to go places where you can experience joy and bring joy to others. It is important to realize that you can not hide from challenges and that it is necessary to face everything and rise. I have learned there will be people who just are not ready to walk with you on your spiritual path and you can not bring them kicking and screaming you simply have to shine your light and be a living example that service to humanity is the best work of life and when they are ready they will join you. Such is life.

Spiritual Awakening: Taking A Step Back!!!

As we continue on our spiritual journey and become more and more aware and awake we must remember that we must step back and detach from the situation at hand. Today (4/25/2017) I was tested as I was out collecting for The American Cancer Society Relay For Life and had an encounter that taught me a very important lesson. That lesson is that not everyone is going to be open to receive the message that you are delivering. I also used my spiritual teachings to take a step back and apologize to the person who seemed to be upset with me. In doing this I was able to diffuse any hard feelings that this person may be harboring. As I walked back to my car I did a gratitude prayer and realized that I should be focusing on those who gave and those who were supportive instead of one person who gave off a negative vibration. As I sat in quiet contemplation I understood that in being an action taker you will encounter all types of situations that will force you to dig deep inside and understand that you must take a step back sometimes and then move forward by being caring in all you do.
It is important to move right along despite any set backs and challenges. When these challenges occur while on our spiritual journey we need to take a step back take a deep breath and create a special place for those who have created the challenges and then let it go. It is in stepping back and taking responsibility that you are able to clear blockages that may be holding you back. On a daily basis it is important to take a step back and reflect on how far you have come so you can let the past go and let GOD as you move forward in a positive direction moving toward your dreams. As you move right along you will encounter those who do not resonate with you and will react in a negative manner to the point of even calling you names. When this happens remember that it is imperative not to take anything personally. It is important to take action so that you can step into your power and achieve the greatness that you are destined to achieve. Through the awakening process you will find that when you step back and take responsibility for the role you played in any situation you are able to release any of the blockages that are stopping you from moving forward.

Spiritual Awakening: Spark It Up!!!

There comes a time during the spiritual awakening process that you have to just spark up the fire that burns deep inside of us to make a positive impact on the world.  There is a flame that resides in all us that allows us to spark our passion and take action so that we can experience what we consider to be success. It is when we continue to spark your passion and fan the embers that you can ignite a fire that always burns and drives you to be of service and value. When you get up each day make it a point to be fired up with spirit by tapping into your inner divinity and simple spark it up and let the flame direct you in a positive direction as you move forward toward achieving your dreams. In sparking it up you will find yourself attracting more peace, love, joy, and prosperity into your personal, professional, and spiritual life. In allowing your fire to burn you will find yourself shining your light and illuminating the world. The key is to spark it up and set the tone for the day and when life throws you a curve ball simply step back take a deep breath and then take your best swing by sparking it up and taking action.
It is time to fan the flames of your passion and become directed by GOD so you can spark it up and become a beacon of hope and healing by taking action. It is when you commit to sparking it up while facing everything and rising that you begin to see major enhancements in your personal, professional, and spiritual life. It is when you begin to tap into the fire that is burning in your heart that you are able to become more aware and awake thus allowing you to manifest the life you desire.  It is when you understand that the fire you have in your heart is part of your divine guidance system that you will begin to attract more bliss and abundance into your life. The key is to spark it up each day and live to the fullest each day while making a positive impact on the world.
When things seem the darkest that is when a major breakthrough is about to happen and your burning heart takes over and allows you to find the light that you seek as you remember you are a divine child of GOD and GOD want you to prosper. As long as you have a burning ember inside of you you can spark it up and create an inferno that makes you powerful beyond anything you believed. It is when you set out to spark it up that you create a blaze that radiates positivism. Through spreading positivism you will find that you are living a life of purpose and thus you will inspire, motivate, and empower those who you come in contact with through out the day.

Spiritual Awakening: Open Your Eyes!!!

As you begin to awaken inside it is important to open your eyes and look at all the beauty and opportunity that surrounds you. As you open your eyes and put judgement and attachment aside you will see that you are able to take action and thus move things forward in a positive direction of your dreams. In the awakening process it is important to let go and let GOD as GOD will open your eyes and put opportunities in front of you where you can be of value and service while prospering yourself and others. I have heard many people say how hard it is to find work and my answer is always that there is plenty of opportunity you just have to open your eyes and be ready ready to receive. Such was the case the other day as I was out collecting donations for The American Cancer Society Relay For Life as Rainbow had a help wanted sign in their window so I inquired and filled out the job application and guess what I start a part time on Monday (3/20/2017), which fits perfectly into my schedule. The idea is to open your eyes and be more aware and awake and prepared to take action.

In opening my eyes and taking action I have been able to secure some chance drawing items for The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Sunrise, which will take place on May 5, 2017 at Piper High School from 6 PM – 12 AM (Midnight). I recently saw a post from a company, Sam Bat, a company that makes custom made baseball bats I wrote a comment asking them if they could donate a bat and they sent a bat that says Strike Out Cancer May 5, 2017. In opening my eyes and being awake and taking action I was able to secure this chance drawing item. I also was able to secure the assistance of my cousin who is a Scentsy Rep as she had posted on Facebook about her fundraising opportunity where she will donate 25% of all sales util April 28 to Relay For Life. Spiritual Awakening: BOOM Goes The Dynamite!

Sometimes when we get in a rut along our spiritual path we have to blow up our limitless beliefs and start to find our rhythm so that we can continue to move in a positive direction of our dreams. Sometimes it takes a while to climb out of the dark ditch because we are so filled with feeling of anxiety however when we realize there is nothing to be anxious about that all we seek is being guided by GOD thus we have no worries. It is when we eliminate our limiting beliefs and  start to shift from a position of lack to a position of abundance that we will see improvements in our personal, professional, and spiritual life. When we begin to step into our power we begin to see that we are of value and service to others and deserve to be treated with respect and compensated fairly for what we bring to the table. Sometimes it is necessary to blow up that which no longer serves you so that you can move forward to exceed your goals and objectives. In taking action to understand that you are a divine child of GOD who has the right to be prospered so you can prosper others you will see how easy it it to release what no longer serves you. When you shift your focus and detach from outcomes you will be saying BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE. Many times the biggest boom we hear occur when we are coming out of the dark and relishing in the sounds of silence.
It is when we go deep inside and connect with our inner divinity that we can break through the sounds of silence by truly hearing the messages and thus taking action when we step back into the light. On many occasion we get so caught up in our human existence that we forget that all we are and all we need is spiritual in nature so it is important to find a quiet sacred space to release all that is blocking you from reaching your full potential spiritually, personally, and professionally. Many times we miss out on the opportunities to shine our light and illuminate the world because we are so caught up in what others are doing that we lose sight of our purpose and thus sink into darkness, however when we feel this darkness it is important to look for answers and step into the light by realizing that like dynamite we have the ability to tear something down and rebuild it including our mindset.

Spiritual Awakening: Being A Joyful Servant!!!

I have come to realize that along my spiritual journey there will be some challenge and that not everything will go smoothly. When challenges arise we must remember that a joyful servant is rewarded. On Sunday (2/19/2017) my human side got the best of my spiritual side and I was very upset that I allowed the mean angry side out because I was frustrated. After I took a deep breathe and reflected on what I could have done differently I realized that my disconnection from source at the time was creating some confrontations that I wasn’t prepared for thus I wasn’t being a joyful servant. I took Monday, Tuesday, and part of Wednesday to understand why I was acting the way I was and why this disconnect was happening. I sat in meditation and prayed and the answer was revealed to me as I was worrying too much and that I was coming from a place of lack instead of abundance. On Wednesday night I decided to take action to change this and to reconnect with source by consulting the ascended masters, my angels, GOD, and Jesus and the message was clear as they all told me that I needed to be a joyful servant. I was also told to detach from outcomes and to stop worrying so much and simply to answer my calling by using my talents for good. As a result I went this morning and began to promote and fundraise for The American Cancer Society Relay For Life and I was met with success as I detached from the outcome and decided to be a joyful servant by simply changing the way I was doing things. In making a positive change and moving forward in a positive direction of my goals I was able to make a joyful noise unto the lord and thus get closer to my goal of raising $2500 to help those touched by cancer. Sometimes all it takes to get back on track and be a joyful servant is a song to remind us that we have  divinity in our heart and that all we have to do is call on this divinity to guide us. In making a connection and remembering that we are divine children of GOD we attract peace, love, joy, and prosperity into our lives. It is when we understand that along our spiritual journey there will be obstacles and that if GOD brought us to it GOD will bring us through it that our lives begin to change. In becoming a joyful servant we begin to improve our community by looking at what we can do as an individual to change things. When we realize that we have an incredible power inside of us we begin to manifest the greatness that is our birthright.

When I forget that I am on this earth to be a joyful servant to GOD I play this Styx Song asking GOD to show me the way. When I ask for guidance I am given many messages to follow to find the way and thus enabling me to be of service and value. One of the messages that I received while I felt disconnected was to become a cheerful giver and to be loving and caring in all that I do. I have come to learn that when you are frustrated and feel moved to anger to simply step back take a deep breath and allow GOD to guide you. The hardest thing we have to do in our human existence is to let go and let GOD.  In taking action to reconnect to GOD I realized that confrontations that I encountered were lessons for me to learn and the lesson I learned this week was regardless of how mad or angry you feel you must use one of the fruits of spirit, self control, and realize that by being angry you only attract negativity into your life and until you learn to control that anger the negativity will persist. Through this lesson I was able to reconnect to GOD by taking time to see what I can do differently and to spread positivism and take all setbacks as an opportunity to step us and thus remain a joyful servant.

Spiritual Awakening: Stop The Madness!!!

 

A few years ago I made contact with an organization, Stop The Madness, and today I was looking for a topic to write about and I cam across this video and thought regardless of our race, sex, sexual orientation, creed, or social status that it is time for a spiritual awakening in our country. It is time that we all come together as one and recognize that we are all divine children of GOD and GOD has a purpose for each and everyone us. It is time for all of us to recognize the divinity in each other seeing that we are more alike than different. It is time to become action takers and make peace, love, and understanding the rule of the day.

It is time to stop the madness and start looking out for one another. It is a time of great change going on in our world right now as we are being confronted with challenges that have not been seen before thus it is time to face everything and rise and work together to make sure that while we journey along our spiritual path that we are shining a light so bright that it serves as a beacon of hope and healing for everyone to see. It is time to put differences aside and find a common ground so that our personal, professional, and spiritual lives are enhanced while we help to improve the lives of others. It is time we look for ways to come together and be of service and value to one another so that we can make our world a better place.
