Spiritual Awakening: Show Me The Way!!!
As many regular readers of this blog know I do my best to stay positive however sometimes events happen that create challenges to being positive. Since 2/9/2018 my life has been fraught with some darkness as I have had a few things happen to me that were beyond my control. These events were making me feel less than instead of felling like I was enough. As a result of feeling inadequate I slowed down on my volunteer work and my quest to find a full time job. I was so entrenched in all the darkness that I was allowing the enemy to win. As I began to reflect on what I could do differently I realized that maybe simply not saying what was on my mind at the time would have avoided the trials and tribulations that have been thrown at me however this would go against me being my authentic self. I have come to realize that if someone is offended by what I say their problem goes far deeper than me. I have come to realize that many people do not know how to deal with someone who is confident and walks to the beat of his own drummer. When you have a different way of thinking and doing certain things you are bound to ruffle some feathers. As I sat and listened Show Me The Way several times this week and reconnected with GOD I have been able to move from the darkness to the light. I have come to realize that I may have lost out on one announcing gig but others will come my way. In finding my way again I have realized that everything happens for a reason and every situation you find yourself in contains a message. When in doubt you simply have to sit down and ask GOD to show your the way.
As I sat in meditation I started to feel the darkness being lifted and the light shining through with the message that GOD will make a way. As I prayed to GOD, The Ascended Masters, The Angles, and Jesus I began to get reenergized with a power driving me to do what I do and that is be of service and value to others. In changing my focus from the negative things that were happening in my life to the positive things that are happening in my life I felt my vibrations radiating at a higher level allowing me to stay connected to GOD and thus attracting more peace, love, joy, and prosperity into my life. In releasing the negatives and committing to let go and let GOD many more positive things are happening around me. In focusing on the good people that I encounter instead of the negative petty people that I encounter is helping to go from the darkness to the light.
The last few weeks have proven to be challenging as my own missteps have set me back and tested me. In learning from these set backs I have come to understand that you can not fight the feelings that you can only accept them and work through them. I have come to realize that I can only control my actions and that what other people do is not my problem even if their actions adversely affect me. I can choose to be angry and lower my vibration bringing more negativity into my life or I can turn the page and move on. The idea is not to fight the feeling but to recognize the feeling and work through it by remembering the spiritual teachings and understanding that if GOD brought you to it GOD will bring you through it. It is when we embrace the feelings and the challenges that are placed in our path that we are able to become action takers and come up with a solution that will make things better in our personal, professional, and spiritual life.
As my old lap top became difficult to use I made a decision to buy a new one. Unfortunately there was a communication breakdown with the salesperson and many of my files of the old lap top were not transferred. At first I was upset then I took a deep breath and realized though it may take time to move the files I will get them moved and thus be able to continue on my mission to be of service and value to others. As I consulted with the ascended masters and embraced the spiritual awakening I realized that it is important to answer my calling and follow the directions of GOD and simply move on in a positive direction toward my goals. As my new lap top came alive I found myself coming alive and being in a better place as I now had the tool I needed to promote the idea of planting the seeds of hope and healing for those touched by cancer. I was now given the opportunity to make the changes that I needed to make to be of service and value to my community. As my emotions ran the gamut of the emotional vibration field I realized that I had a choice I could be upset with the financial position I was in and where my life was or I could be grateful that I had the money to get a new lap top. I chose to be grateful and it changed my whole outlook. 
As we become action takers it is important to do small things with great love. In being a conduit of love we will attract love into our personal, professional, and spiritual lives as we awaken spiritually. In doing things from a heart centered base you will find that the smallest gesture of love gets the biggest results. Yesterday (2/28/2018) I went out on a mission to promote The 2018 American Cancer Society Relay For Life Of Sunrise. Overall my day went great as I detached from expectations and simply tapped into my inner divinity thus allowing things to flow as GOD had intended. I did encounter one woman, a manager at Uncle Buck’s, a discount store in the neighborhood, who was so negative that I was left thinking wow someone need a spiritual enema. The beauty of being impeccable with my word, not taking things personally, not making judgments, and always doing my best is that I was able to take a deep breath and move on. I moved on to a dentist’s office and introduced myself and told them who I was and what I was doing. They were very open and receptive and donated $20. In focusing on the positive and doing the small things I was able to find joy in the knowledge that the donations I was collecting were making a positive impact on the lives of those touched by cancer. After collecting donations and promoting The 2018 American Cancer Society Relay For Life Of Sunrise I went across the street to the park for a meeting. I was a bit early so I went to watch a girls Flag Football Game and was able to connect with the coach and then I watched the boys flag football game and was able to make a connection with the coach in hopes that these two teams would participate in The 2018 American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Sunrise. I continued to share Relay everywhere I went and as a result was able to spread the word and plant seeds of hope and healing for cancer patients. 
Last night (2/7/2018) I was announcing The Calvary Eagles vs Cardinal Gibbons Chiefs Girls Varsity High School Basketball Game and I made a call when the opposing player from Calvary double dribbled. I said double dribble get her a kids cup Chiefs Basketball. At halftime a parent from Calvary came up to me and asked if I thought is was okay to heckle the girls. I said I wasn’t heckling I was just adding some flair to the game as I have been doing for many years, At that moment another parent stated you can’t do that it is high school basketball. I apologized and began to walk away and the other parent kept going on and on.I simply went back to my announcing position. After the game a few of The Cardinal Gibbons parents came up to me and said don’t worry about it they were upset from the time they got to the gym you did a great job. The irony of the whole situation is that Calvary is a Christian School and I thought one of the covenants of Christianity was forgiveness.
In becoming humble before GOD and seeking forgiveness for my trespasses I will become a better person and thus attract peace, love, joy, and prosperity into my life so that I can continue to be of service and value to others. Last night was a humbling experience for me as in all my years of announcing I have never had someone come up to me to complain about my call of a game. It was a learning experience for me as it reinforced that not everyone will be a fan of your style. In accepting that not everyone will resonate with your style you begin to become more true to yourself as you move along your spiritual path. The only thing anyone of us can do is walk in our truth and follow the messages that GOD is sending you. In my case as a professional announcer and emcee I must become more aware as to the effect I have on audiences and to carry myself with grace and dignity. I must realize that as funny as I might find something others may find it hurtful thus I must find a common ground where I bring the game to life without disrespecting the game. It is important to look at how we conduct ourselves and how we play this game of life understanding that sometimes we can get a bit crazy.
In making 2018 a year of getting stronger we must strengthen our relationship with GOD and listen to the messages that GOD is delivering. Each morning make it a point to give thanks to GOD and praise GOD and then commit to letting go and letting GOD. Make it a point to seek the answers from GOD, The Ascended Masters, Jesus, and The Angels and they will guide you to a life where you are strong and capable. Take time to consult the scriptures and to really live by the word as it will give you strength. I remember a day about 2 years ago I went out to collect for The American Cancer Society Relay For Life with a bible in one hand and a collection canister in the other. I came upon a business and the person behind the counter asked me what I was reading I showed him the bible and he responded I better help as you have a very powerful weapon with you. He donated $5 and I realized that we gain power by being connected to GOD. I carry the bible with me everywhere I go now as you never know how you can help others to find their strength.
