Spiritual Awakening: Finding The Lessons Daily!!!

romans 8 31 Each day during our spiritual awakening process we will face challenges and we will find lessons all around us. We will begin to understand the importance of embracing our divinity and becoming an action taker to enhance our divine purpose. Each day we will run into those that doubt or try to bring us down as the enemy is out there trying to take us down, however if we remind ourselves that GOD wants us to prosper and that GOD id for us then no weapon forged against us shall prosper we begin to grow personally and professionally.

quote-what-we-think-determines-what-happens-to-us-so-if-we-want-to ...What we pay attention to expands - Brenda Shoshanna - Quotes and ... One of the lessons I have learned is what we focus on expands thus if I focus on the negative encounters and speak negatively about people I will be given more negative, however if I focus on the positive encounters and speak positively about things I will be given more positivity. So many times we focus on the negative and we do not see the lesson. I thank GOD for the negative encounters because they teach me that not everyone is going to be as passionate about life and being of service and value as I am and that it is not my job to enlighten them but it is my job to shine my light and walk in my truth and when they are ready to receive they will. I have learned through the spiritual awakening process that some may never be open to receive for they have not worked through their emotional baggage  to clear blockages and move forward. Not everyone is ready to go deep inside themselves to discover their inner divinity and beauty because it takes a lot of courage to get naked with yourself and to discover how special you are. It takes an inner strength to stand up and shine your light and to walk in your truth and some are so worried about what others will think that they never step into their power and never discover their greatness.  I have found that having an anthem to remind me of the daily lessons is a very important tool to stay grounded and centered and focused on my purpose.

Spiritual Awakening: Steeping Back To Step Forward!!!

 In basketball as in the spiritual awakening process many times you have to take a step back in order to move forward. In my years of announcing basketball I have seen many a team take a step back and then adjust to either keep the game close of to go on to win the game. This is very similar to the spiritual awakening process as the bad influences that are trying to take us down are playing touch defense and we feel they aren’t allowing us to move forward. In basketball it is the job of the defender to prevent us from making the shot, it is our job to find ways to make the shot. In our spiritual awakening the enemy will give us distractions and challenges and it is our job to defeat the enemy by staying on our path that leads to spiritual enlightenment. It is our job to stay so committed to our awakening that nothing the enemy throws at us will defeat us.  With the small steps backwards to look things from a different perspective we are able to adjust and take a few steps forward and thus stay on our path.

 The small steps backward serve as lessons to propel us forward. We have all had disappointments or felt less than until we realized we are enough and if we are following our heart everything works out the way the universe intended it to. In life we have to lose sometimes so that we are put in a position to win. In the losing we learn and thus we grow personally and professionally.  In following the messages that tell us to step back and regroup we create an opportunity to move forward. In realizing that we may not resonate with everyone and that those intended to support our mission or follow our message will come to us when the timing is right.

 It is in learning for the past and stepping back for a moment that we are able to live in the present and look toward the future. I have learned over time that you can not change what happened but you can change how you reacted to it so that in the present moment you are aware and awake and as a result you begin to find the proper perspective that will allow you to stay focused, grounded, and centered on your mission.  In stepping back and looking introspectively at ourselves we begin to find what our divine purpose is and what we are being directed to do to embrace this calling.

Spiritual Awakening: Love Is The Answer!!!

 As we celebrate Valentine’s Day today many expressions of love will be exchanged. These expressions of love should lead to a spiritual awakening and allow us to understand that love is the answer. The key is to wake every morning and have love in your heart and carry that love with you everywhere you go and share it. It is when you are loving and caring that you begin to expand your spirituality and thus increase the mind, body, soul connection. It is when you become an action taker and do things in a loving and caring way that you begin to experience the joy of giving and receiving. Love can become an anthem for your life and thus you awaken to the beauty that surrounds you and further embrace the fact that you are a divine child of GOD.  The divine love of GOD lives in all of us and it is our responsibility to share it freely without expectation of return.

Janet Lee Kraft encourages us to be loving and caring in all we do in her song, Love Is The Highest Way.  When you show love and compassion you become an award winner in the eyes of GOD. When you begin to recognize your calling is to be love you become more centered and grounded and you begin to experience a transformation that will change your perspective. Love allows you to come alive as you evolve daily and become of service and value to your community. Love gives you the fuel to follow your dreams and to overcome the other emotions that may create blockages in your personal and professional life. A fact of life is that love conquers all. Love is the answer as you begin to love yourself  you allow yourself to open to be loved.

 Today as I sat in Dunkin Donuts with my father and his friends one of the gentleman asked me to delete some of the call history. This had me thinking about having a spiritual eraser. As part of the spiritual awakening process it is very important to begin to let that no longer serves you go. It is time to put your spiritual eraser to work and start again. Look at what you have done and what you have learned take what you have learned and move forward and use your spiritual eraser to eliminate the rest. Take action to release your past and move forward in a positive direction of your dreams by embracing today and living in the moment.  In living in the moment and utilizing your spiritual eraser you will enhance your personal and professional life. The key is acknowledge any mistakes or transgressions that you may have made and forgive yourself and seek forgiveness as you use your spiritual awakening.

Spiritual Awakening: It’s Beginning To Feel  Like Christmas!

As I ventured out on Friday (12/13/13) to do my Christmas Shopping I felt another spiritual awakening come over me. It was an awakening that Christmas can be an everyday occurrence as we all have the ability to give a gift. It doesn’t have to be a monetary gift or a material gift it can be a gift of spirit, a kind word, a random act of kindness, a smile, or just letting someone go ahead of you in line.  It is when we adopt the anthem to take action and come from a place of kindness and love that our spiritual channels are open up and thus we receive gifts that enhance our personal and professional life because we took the time to enhance the personal and professional lives of others.

 As I strolled through The Forest of Angels Project at The Promenade at Coconut Creek I experienced another spiritual awakening as I witnessed 22 Christmas Trees decorated by sponsors who designated a charity for their Christmas Tree to represent as this project gives money to the top 3 trees who garner the most votes. To vote on a tree you make a donation of at least $1 and place the number of the Christmas Tree you like on the ballot you receive ( a raffle ticket) you vote and then place your ticket in the chance drawing box of the prize you would like to win. My awakening was that more people are doing good than bad and we need to capitalize on the feeling and spirit of Christmas and make it a daily practice. maybe not with trees or lights or presents but with actions that will show people that they are divine creatures of GOD with a purpose and thus everyday it can feel like Christmas.

Spiritual Awakening: Busting Out OF Black Friday!!!

 Did you fall for the hype of Black Friday or were you like the many that have had a spiritual awakening and busted out of Black Friday? I chose to bust out on Black Friday and take massive action and invest in myself by becoming a Rejuvenetics Distributor, my page is at www.rejuvenetics.net/jdogg1 where people can purchase products that will help them to look good, feel good, so they can do good. I decided that being healthy was more important than the 32″ Plasma TV that was on sale. I decided to bust out and learn about the products and spend my money on me as I know an investment in myself is more important than investments in materialistic things. After all the happiness we seek is found inside ourselves. In committing to being healthy and becoming an action taker we begin to get ourselves balanced, centered, and grounded thus allowing us to summon our inner divinity and creating our own happiness.  In awakening and busting out on Black Friday I have been able to further my calling and create a positive change in my life and in the lives of others. In making a decision to take massive action I have continued to come alive and serve others while enhancing my community. Imagine being able to show people that service to humanity is the best work of life and showing them how to live a healthy life  by educating them with information that traditional doctors don’t tell them.

 In busting out on Black Friday and deciding not to focus on the lack mentality that it promotes I have been able to accomplish many of my daily goals. I was able to get centered and grounded, start my new business venture, write my blog entries, send out media releases and further my journey of spiritual awakening. In being spiritually awake and aware we are able to choose to bust out of Black Friday and appreciate the abundance that we all have. In becoming spiritually awake and a ware we begin to understand that we do not have to do what the masses do we can be our own person and follow the messages from GOD. IN busting out of Black Friday we are able to do more to glorify GOD and thus be rewarded. A new car, or anew TV, or material things will not honor or glorify GOD, however being of service to others will. So in busting out of Black Friday we can all become more in tune with our own divinity while recognizing the divinity in others.

Spiritual Awakening: Miami Dolphins Need A Dose Of Spirituality!!!

 

 Since moving to South Florida in 1972 and having Earl Moral as my youth optimist football coach I have been a fan of The Miami Dolphins. In a brutal sport like football it is very difficult to carry your spirituality onto the field of play. The events of the recent week between Jonathan Martin and Richie Incognito has brought to light for all players to awaken spiritually. When a player has a spiritual awakening they begin to realize that they are connected to the team and thus they have a responsibility to recognize the divine in each other despite the fact that they play a violent game where the objective is to knock your opponent off the ball and score or to stop your opponent from scoring.  Today a dose of spirituality is needed for the Miami Dolphins so they can regroup and come together as a cohesive unit and put a winning effort forward.

 Right now The Dolphins are far away from the glory days that had them winning Super Bowls and consistently in the playoffs. The teams of the 70’s and early 80’s had what is called chemistry. I like to call it a spiritual connection where they understand that everyone was divinely connected and when they worked in unison and came together as one they won. There was something special about the teams of Griese, Czonka, Warfield, Morris, Kick, Scott, Anderson, and Bonocotti.  Those teams seemed to respect each other and knew that they were all part of something bigger than football. Today’s players seem to care only about themselves as illustrated by the recent incident between Incognito and Martin. Many have said but that is the culture of The NFL. I say it is time to change this culture as it is leading to many issues and make players understand that their actions are now magnified in the press and that it is time to make a mind, body, soul connection and start to lift each other up to excel as a team. An awakening is definitely in order as these players have been given a calling that is much larger than football.

Spiritual Awakening: Standing In Your Power!!!!

 As I sat down to write this entry at 5:30 PM today (10/21/13) I kept getting this message stand in your power. As I have been on my spiritual path of awakening that will lead to enlightenment I have learned that the power we need to succeed is found within us. It is our spirit, our vibration, our energy that affects the energy flow. It is our actions and reactions that determine how far along this path to self actualization that we get. There are guides and tools available to us but it is we who must commit to stand in our power and not waver on walking in our truth. As I searched for Standing In Your Power I came across the book that is highlighted here. Many times for us to stand in our power we need to connect with someone who is standing in there power. When you begin to surround yourself with those who are standing in their power you begin to stand in your power and your awakening strengthens and then you realize there is nothing outside of yourself that can hold you back for you have the power to create the life you want.  It is in the standing of your power and understanding you have a purpose and  saying I am a powerful, strong  person who has awakened spiritually and will make a positive impact on this world that you truly become that enlightened self actualized person that no one can stop.

 I have found that this bible verse has become a very powerful tool to help me and other to stand in our power. I have also found that when you stand in your power and shine your light you make a mind, body, soul connection that will propel you to new heights.  You have a divine power tat has been given to you that when you embrace it and stand in your power you will find  that you are positively impacting your life and the lives of those around you. Sometimes you will find that there will be doubters who do not understand that you are transforming. To them I say Thank you and have a nice day.  You have a calling and the day you discover that calling  and stand in your power is the day that your life changes.

Spiritual Awakening: The Grand Illusion!!!

 How many times have we fooled ourselves into believing something because of the Grand Illusion that has come to be known to us. This Grand Illusion has held us back sometimes because we were afraid to break free. It was when I had a Spiritual awakening that this  a Grand Illusion began to fade. Upon realizing that life was a big  Grand Illusion I decided that I would do things for  the glory of GOD and Jesus and answer the two questions that really matter did I live my life in joy and did my life bring joy to others?  Upon asking those questions and living a life of service and value I have found my life is happier. It was when I began to look beyond the Grand Illusion and inside myself that I began to achieve goals that brought me happiness and as a result enhanced the lives of others. In Ecclesiastes it speaks of doing good and being of service and by doing so GOD will reveal his purpose for you.

Spiritual Awakening: Only The Beginning!!!

 

 The group Chicago delivers a message of spiritual awakening through their song Only The Beginning. Though the song speaks of a new beginning in a relationship the lyric can be applied to our spiritual awakening and the spiritual path that we are on as when you awaken spiritually it is a new beginning and when you continue on the path each step is like a new beginning. Another song that speaks of a beginning is The Carpenters, We’ve Only Just Begun.

The Carpenters remind us that when we awakening spiritually our relationship with GOD is a new beginning. As you strive to have that oneness consciousness with GOD it is important to remember each day is a new beginning and to realize it is the day the lord hath made so be glad and rejoice in it. By acknowledging your spiritual awakening and embracing your divinity you will begin to see that this is only the beginning. As you continue to evolve spiritually you will begin to receive and act on messages that will take you to heights that you never imagined. It is said that everything is possible through GOD and this is true as GOD lives in us and through us giving us messages to act upon and deliver to others. It is acknowledging that we have only just begun that we begin to set in motion the action that will propel us to our greatness. It is in recognizing your calling and beginning to act on that calling that you will co-create the life you desire.
