Spiritual Awakening: Making The Connection! GOD’S PLAN!

When someone says they are connected what comes to mind. Most people immediately conjure up images of gangsters. I usually think that they are connected to spirit and are embracing the fact that they are a divine child of GOD. Today I walked into my kitchen and looked up at the clock and it read 4:44 PM and I thought wow I am connected and surrounded by angels. It was time to stop what I was doing and pray. I did pray and I made the connection and the message I received was head out to Starbucks and write your blog as the world needs your positive message. In taking action I looked for an anthem to utilize to set the tone for honoring GOD. It was in experiencing this process that I began to further understand the reason for the spiritual awakening that I have had.

I arrived at Starbucks and got settled in by 5:17 PM and was directed to share the song Shabbat Shalom with you. As I listened to the music a new force of positive energy flowed through me and I began to feel inspired and motivated. A group of teachers sat next to me and I was directed by source to interact with them and give them my business cards. I did that and offered them my assistance to help them and their students to reach their goals and objectives. As you stay connected with GOD and your angels you begin to be directed along your path to have your prayers answered. It is on this path that you will experience more and spiritual awakenings and understand that you are a divine child of GOD who has greatness inside. Along your path you will receive messages. Do not question the message take action and if in doubt ask GOD and your angels.

When I attend Friday Night Services at Synagogue this is one of the songs that ushers in the Sabbath and it sets the tone in making the connection. It is amazing what happens as you make the connection with GOD and share how GOD is working in your life with others. After services there is an Oneg Shabbat(A Time For Fellowship). Through this interaction with others you strengthen your connection.

Spiritual Awakening: Making Lemonade Out Of Lemons

We have all heard the saying making lemonade out of lemons. This practice takes a great deal of shifting our thoughts and action steps to find the positive in all situations. I remember receiving the phone call of Friday April 3, 2009 where my mom informed me of her diagnosis with non-operable metastatic lung cancer. I am very fortunate to have been a volunteer with The American Cancer Society and knew that her journey through this would be tough, however there were many programs available to help her. The first thing I did was give her this number 1-800-acs-2345 as this is a manned 24 hour a day 7 day a week hotline manned by The American Cancer Society. The East Boca Raton Relay was coming up and I know knew what I was going to speak about during luminaria, I would tell the story of how my mom was making lemonade out of a lemon known as cancer. My mom underwent many treatments at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas. When she returned to Florida she had lost her hair and released alot of weight. It was difficult to see her like this, however as the weeks went by she got stronger and our bond strengthened. She was cancer free for 2 1/2 years and then the cancer returned. She would travel to MD Anderson again and this lemon known as cancer would be squeezed and she is now doing better. She has her good days and some challenging days. My mom continues to take this lemon and make lemonade as she inspires me and others. I am honoring my mom by participating in The American Cancer Society Relay for Life of West Boca Raton on April 27-28.
