Spiritual Awakening: The Journey Home!!!

As you experience a spiritual awakening you will find that you work through much pain that has created blockages that has stopped you from becoming the person GOD has intended for you to become. When you find yourself disconnected find the disconnect and face it head on heeding the messages from GOD, Jesus, The Ascended Masters, and The Angels.  As you continue on your journey home remember that if GOD brought you to it GOD will bring you through it.  take the time on your journey to really understand the messages and you will find yourself more centered, balanced, and focused on the task that GOD has assigned for you. The day you find what your purpose is and the day you start living a purpose driven life is the day that your journey home becomes filed with much bliss and abundance as you begin to gain an appreciation for what you have. When you truly appreciate the journey home you will find that when you arrive home you are met with kindness thus allowing you to pass on compassion and empathy to others because you have filled your home with love and as a result you have filled your heart with love allowing you to make a positive impact on the world by doing small things with great love.  As you travel the many roads in your life remember it is being positive and kind that brings you home.

How many times have you found yourself desiring to be homeward bound only to find that their are challenges along the way? When was the last tie that you were homeward bound and you too the time to take in all the sight and sounds along the way so as to create some great memories to draw upon to strengthen you spiritually, physically, and mentally so you can be at your peak when you get home? I have  found that the journey to get home contains opportunities for personal and spiritual growth. As you journey home are you seeking opportunities to be of service and value to others? When you arrive home are you taking action to move forward in a positive direction of your dreams. On your journey home are you taking time to appreciate all that you are experiencing?

Image result for Welleby Park Many times on my way home I will take a slight detour to the local park simply to reflect on the day and set the tone for the next day. In taking small detours I have come to cherish the moments in my life. As a result I have been able to embrace the spiritual awakening process and thus when I arrive home appreciate all that I have. In stopping at the park I have found that I am able to create a scared space where I can journal and work through any challenges that I may have had during the day. When I arrive home after stopping at the park I find myself to be calmer and more balanced and thus I can continue in an effective manner when becoming an action taker.
 We are all working toward reaching the ultimate home in The Kingdom of GOD and thus we are working on becoming spiritually enlightened by becoming more and more aware and awake so that when that day of judgement comes we will be able to say we lived a purpose driven life directed by GOD and that we left a legacy of hope of healing for those that are left behind. On our journey we will realize that we will all come home to GOD and it will be on his terms so it is important to listen to the messages that GOD is sending us and to act on them accordingly so that we can stay on the path of being homeward bound.
It is when you come home to GOD that you will find that you attract more peace, love, joy, and prosperity into your life. I have come to understand that when you are walking with GOD that you never walk alone.  It is when we follow the directions of GOD and understand that his plans for us are far great than our plans that our lives are filled with positivism.

Spiritual Awakening: Calmness Has Its Rewards!

Through out the spiritual awakening process I have come to understand that in the face of a challenge where your human existence seems to want to take over your spiritual existence you must take a deep breath and remain calm. In staying calm in the heat of a adverse moment will lead to unexpected rewards. Today (8/4/2017) I stopped by Starbucks after doing some banking. I went to recharge my card to be told it was on hold. Instead of getting mad I calmly called the 1-800 number. I waited on hold for a while and finally after what seemed an eternity I spoke to a customer service representative. We had a pleasant exchange and at the end she informed that she was adding $10 to my card because I was inconvenienced. In taking action in a calm manner I was rewarded. As we continue along our path toward spiritual enlightenment it is important to remember that when you are calm the vibration you give off will be met with calmness and you will be rewarded. In remaining calm and staying positive you put out a vibration to the universe showing that you have evolved as a spiritual being and you are ready to receive the resources desired to create the life that you want.

Self-control is one of the fruits of spirit that allows us to progress in a positive manner in our personal, professional, and spiritual life. It is imperative to remember that the only person you can change is you. getting heated and angry does not serve you as it is like wrestling a pig in the mud you both get dirty but the pig enjoys it. The best way to solve a problem is to simply take a deep breath and remain calm for getting angry only escalates the problem and many times makes the situation worse. Today at the bank a woman was in the non-customer line and she was a customer she was taken before a few people and one guy remarked I guess the rest of us are invisible. I simply made a joke and said oh English and Reading Classes start Monday followed by I am kidding. In doing this it seemed to ease the tension and everyone relaxed a little bit understanding that waiting is part of the process. have learned that having a sense of humor and being comfortable with who I am goes a long way in easing the most tense situations.  I understand there will be times when your patience is tried because the people you are dealing with may not be as spiritually evolved as you are so when this happens you must simply let go and Let GOD. I do my best to remember that the way things are and the way things should be are two different things. In staying calm I have been rewarded.

Spiritual Awakening: All You Need Is A Little Bit of Heart And Soul!!!

The year was 1987 and I was getting ready to graduate from Hofstra University. Heart and Soul was one of the top songs that year and it became an anthem of mine. As I sat in the Hofstra Gymnasium waiting for my name to be called it occurred to me that as long as I put a little bit of heart and soul into all I was going to do that things would turn out okay. As I continue on my spiritual journey I understand more and more that it takes a bit of heart and soul to attract peace, love, joy, and prosperity into your life. Many times it is just a matter of going forward with an idea regardless of what others might say about the idea and understanding that if you put your heart into what you are doing and you create a oneness consciousness that everything will work out for the best. I have come to understand that it is important to conceive it in your mind and to believe it in your heart so that you can achieve it. If you are an avid reader of this blog you know the concept that I preach which is passion+ action = success. When you put your heart and soul into anything people will sense your passion and will vibrate on the same level with you and as a result support you. There will be those who will not resonate with you for they are not ready to walk the path that leads to spiritual enlightenment. When you encounter these people simply remember it is not your job to drag them kicking and screaming onto the path but it is your job to keep putting your heart and soul into what you are doing and to shine your light bright to illuminate the world understanding that when they are ready they will experience their own spiritual awakening. When you embrace the spiritual awakening process and put your heart and soul into everything you do there will be no stopping you.
When you become heart centered and make the commitment to put your heart and soul into everything that you do you will see that you are unstoppable. Remember that you are a divine child of GOD and GOD wants you to prosper. As you become more loving and caring you will begin to attract loving and caring people into your life who will lift you to heights that you never thought possible. Many times we are told that something is impossible when in reality when you break the word down it says I am possible. When you start to put your heart and soul into things you being to see the realm of endless possibilities.  Recently someone said that a group couldn’t raise $7,000 in 2 days and reach a milestone. I piped up and said yes it can be done all you have to do is believe and take action. Guess what the goal of raising $7000 in 2 days was achieved because people put their heart and soul into the effort and began to believe that people would help.

Spiritual Awakening: Changing The Tide!!!

As we awaken spiritually we begin to understand that we have the capability to change the tide of our life. Sometimes it is just a matter of changing out latitudes and our attitudes and taking action in a different manner so as to achieve the goals we have set for ourselves. As we continue on our spiritual journey we become more and more awake and aware of the possibilities to soar to heights that many feel impossible. If we are to change the tide we must first strengthen our relationship with GOD so that we can use our inner divinity guidance system to bring peace, love, joy, and prosperity into our lives. We must put some anthems in our play list so that we stay focused, centered, and grounded on living a life of purpose.
I have come to learn that when you trust in the lord you will soar on eagles wings. When you turn to your spiritual teachings and adopt the mantra that service to humanity is the best work of life and you dedicate your life work to showing others that the brotherhood of man transcends the sovereignty of nations you will find that much bliss and abundance come to you. When you decide to use your talents for good you can change the tide of your life and shine your light so bright that you illuminate the world. I have come to realize the importance of going to places where you are celebrated not just tolerated. I have come to learn that when you come alive and are filled with spirit and a desire to change your community that you will encounter some challenges as not everyone will be receptive to what you are doing and not understand the value that you are bringing to the table. There will be times that challenge you and it seems like you are swimming against the tide. When these challenges arise stop for a moment take a deep breath and change your direction.

Spiritual Awakening: Don’t Fool Yourself!!!

Many times along our spiritual journey we come to a crossroad where we may be fooling ourselves because we have not released our limiting beliefs. The key is to understand that we must not be fooled by our limitless beliefs and we must stop our negative self talk and simply begin to understand that we are divine children of GOD capable of great things. It is when we stop listening to the doubters and the haters and the negative thoughts in our head that we are able to move forward and begin to manifest the life that we desire. How many times have you said I can’t or I’ll try only to find that you kept yourself stuck because you didn’t take action on what you really wanted and you allowed yourself to stop and thus are left with questions like what might have been or what could have been? Let’s change the thoughts from I can’t or I’ll try to I can and I will and see what begins to happen. You might have to be relentless in your pursuit to bring something to fruition however you will find that by being tenacious and driven you will find success. The time is now to plan your work and work your plan and stop fooling yourself. So many times we get so caught up in why something can not work that we never get started to make it work. Some call this stinking thinking and they are right. I have  come to learn that you must ask the universe for what you want and then take the appropriate action to allow the universe to deliver it.

A great example of this is my work with Sinbad Sports. I have a goal to sell 350 autographs and I know that I can not just wish for the people to come I must go out into the community and share this event and do my best to let as many people know about the signing and the store. I have been posting on Facebook and sharing www.sinbadsports.com with people. I have also been sharing the post cards and attending events inviting people to come and have detached from the outcome knowing that I will be successful because I am taking action as directed by GOD and following his message. The great thing about this signing is that a portion of all the autograph sales will be used to help children get back to school clothes and supplies thus fitting into my purpose to show people that service to humanity is the best work of life. In taking action and doing my best I know that I will meet with success. It is important to remember that your attitude will determine your altitude. In not allowing myself to be discouraged by those saying people won’t pay $69 for an autograph and moving forward i am finding people who will pay $69 for an autograph and who will buy other items to get signed when they come to the store. By being in tune with my inner divinity and following my heart I am finding people who will come to the store and purchase autograph tickets and merchandise. In simply sharing information and detaching from the outcome I am finding success. It is when you stop fooling yourself and start believing in yourself you will find success.

Spiritual Awakening: 2016 A Year Of Hope And Healing!!!

Healing and Hope | Counselor Blog As 2015 winds down I look back on the declaration to make it a year of  growth and expansion and I realize that so many great things happened for me in 2015 that lead to personal, professional, and spiritual growth. The highlights for 2015 were numerous as I was The Munford Johnson Community Service Award Winner for The City Of Lauderhill, I was an All Star with my fundraising for Relay For Life, I booked many gigs as an emcee, secured PA Announcing and Voice Over Work, and learned that many times in life I was the person responsible for what happens in my life and the importance of not playing the blame game. I can say that in 2015 I grew personally, professionally, and spiritually by becoming an action and paying more attention to the messages I was receiving from GOD, The Ascended Masters, and my angels. In 2015 I became more aware and awake in relation to what I was doing to manifest certain things in my life. I found that I was more in tune with myself and how my energy was affecting the outcomes of projects I was working on. I learned that by following my calling and making changes that I could come alive and as a result make a positive impact on the community. I learned to detach from outcomes and let go of expectations and simply allow things to unfold as they may. As a result my 2015 has been very good. There are 8 days left in 2015 and now I start to look to 2016. I have  declared 2016 to be a year of hope and healing.

The Hope and Healing CenterIn order to make 2016 a year of hope and healing I understand that I must make a commitment to transform instead of to conform. If I am to hold fast to my dreams I must check the emotions at the door and truly practice the principles of being impeccable  with my word, not taking anything personally, not making judgments, and to always do my best. This will mean taking time out to get in touch with my inner divinity and really implementing the idea of making a mind, body, soul connection. I have already begun to make some changes in my life as I have a personal trainer who is helping me to make a body transformation for me know if we look good and feel good we can do good. I have been very cognizant of what I am eating as I realize that what we put into our body has an effect on what we do and how we do it.  I have learned over time that if you are to truly be hopeful and heal you must peel back all your layers and be truthful with yourself. In getting in touch with who you really are you can make incredible inroads to remove the blockages that in the past were holding you back.  As 2016 approaches I suggest you take inventory on where you are and where you want to be and then take the necessary action steps to move you forward on your spiritual path.

Spiritual Awakening:Unleash Your Inner Champion!

“Train your mind to work for you rather than against you.  The world teaches you to create from fear.  Don’t listen to it!  Master your mind and emotions and create from joy.  That’s the key to manifestation and lasting success.”
 We all have a champion inside of us waiting to be unleashed. So many times we think it is about being number 1 that we lose sight of the fact that we are already #1 in the eyes of GOD and that it is not about plaques, trophies, or paper certificates acknowledging our accomplishments but it is in the journey and knowing that you gave your best and in the end were of value and service to others.  You must believe you are the best and then taken action to show yourself that you are the best. When you reach down deep inside and connect with your inner divinity you are able to unleash your inner champion. I have learned that we are all champions in our own right and that we have talents to give to the world that will make a positive impact on the lives of those we come in connect with. I used to think it was about being #1 but then I realized that #1 comes as a by product from unleashing your inner champion. I have come to learn that if you think and act like a champion you will become a champion. There may not be a medal or trophy presentation  but there will be the memory of the journey you took to unleash your inner champion.

Many times in my life I have had the feeling of being on top of the world. The journey has not always been easy and there have been several obstacles to overcome but each time I faced a hurdle I adjusted my pace and leaped over it to become a stronger person.  So many times we look for acceptance and accolades from others when we should be accepting ourselves knowing we are divine children of GOD and GOD wants us to be on top of the world. I have come to learn that it is not about being on top but in simply doing something that will improve your community and leaving things better than you found them. I have also learned that what you do for yourself will die with you but what you do for others will be remembered long after you are gone. I have come to understand that when you unleash the champion within that you become a member of your own  hall of fame.

Spiritual Awakening: We Are One!!!

 One day when the world has a spiritual awakening we will all realize that we are one. We are all made in the image of GOD with a divine purpose and calling and must honor and praise GOD and be of service and value to those we come in contact with so that we can create a world that is full of positivism. We muss start by checking our ego at the door and seek ways to improve the lives of others thus improving our own lives personally, professionally, and spiritually.  One day we will see only positive things being reported on the news and people beginning to help one another. This shift can occur if we all begin to subscribe to Don Miguel Ruiz’s Four Agreements.

The Four Agreements | Quilting JetgirlImagine if we had these four agreements plastered all over our schools, in our government buildings, and in public places and started a movement to create more positivism in our world. Imagine of we started to look beyond the outer and into the inner and saw people as divine children of GOD and began to interact with people and finding ways to help each other. What if we put all of our preconceived notions and judgments aside and started getting to know people on a cellular level and connecting with positive vibrations. Things would get easier and brighter.

Each day we all have an opportunity to make things easier and brighter our actions can create an avalanche of positivism that leads to hope and healing.  each day we wake up we should ask ourselves what can I do to add value to someone else’s life. By helping others and being a lifter you will be lifted. When we realize that times are changing and we must be more loving and compassionate our world will change.

Spiritual Awakening:Just Say No To Concessions!

Movie Theater Concession Stand Worker Be obtained at us gas on I was at the movies last night (12/1/2015) watching the movie Creed, and I managed to bypass the concession stand as I have committed to eating healthier so as to better make a mind, body, soul connection. As I bypassed the concessions stand I thought about how important it is not to give in and make concessions to others because when we make concessions we drain ourselves personally, professionally, and spiritually. We must commit to bypassing concessions.Just like we know that the processed food and sugars that we would buy from a concession stand compromise us physically and mentally so does making concessions in our personal and professional lives. The idea is to have the mindset of I am doing what is best for me so that I will be in a position to be of service and value to others.  I have found when I become a conscious action taker that my life is more balanced spiritually, personally, and professionally.  I have also learned that if I helping myself and I am getting healthier then I will be able to do more and thus create a oneness consciousness where no one has to make any concessions. Think about how many times you have made a concession and the emotions that resulted. Was there resentment, anger, or jealousy? These are all drains on our spiritual being and also on a drain on our mental and physical well being. The way to combat this is to simply say no to concessions.

The first step to saying no to concessions is to change our mindset. Ask yourself does my decision serve me well, will my decision have a positive effect on my personal and professional life? When you begin to change your thoughts you will change your life. About 3 weeks ago I started working with a personal trainer and he has also guided me to make better food choices. At first I was resistant but when I change my mindset and made a conscious decision to work out and eat healthier things in my life began to change. I have seen that I now feel better about myself and have begun to re-establish my power and thus making it easier to be of service and value to others.

Spiritual Awakening: Spark One Up!!!

As I lit incense and played the Amy Barbera CD and meditating on what my next move would be with The South Florida Gold I realized that GOD was telling me to move forward in a direction that would reward me for my talents and to take action to follow my heart and use my powers fro good. As I began to think that it was time to rekindle the inner spirit of divinity inside of me and to light a fire that would illuminate the world. It is when we spark our spirituality and feed the fire that we can make positive changes in our life and move forward in a positive direction of our dreams. So many times we get caught up in worrying what will people think of the fear of closing one door so another can be opened that we create blockages that stop us from reaching our full potential. It is time that we take a flame to all these blockages and allow them to melt away so we can clear the debris and open up a new path that will lead us to creating a oneness consciousness that will help us to get more in tune with our inner divinity. It is time to spark one up and take action on our dreams and not allow any set of circumstances to hold us back. It is time to find a way to attract the people in our lives that will support us sparking one up and fan the flames that will lift us to levels that make us more awake. If someone is trying to hold you back simply take a deep breath and find away to eliminate them so that you can open up opportunities to bring those that will serve you into your life. Each situation we encounter in our life is made manifest by our own thoughts and actions. If we are strong enough to move away from those who do not serve us we can keep the spark buring inside so that it creates a fire.

When we ignite an internal fire and allow it to drive us as we answer our calling and follow our purpose we are able to step into our power and achieve greatness. As we fan the flames of hope and healing we are able to find our passion and thus take action and achieve success. When we find what makes us come alive and we nourish that fire we create a life filled with peace, love, joy, and prosperity. When we keep sparking it up and shining our light we give permission to others to do the same and before you know it we are changing the world and illuminating our communities. When we light the fire inside us and detach from outcomes we begin to flourish and our personal, professional, and spiritual life is enhanced. When we seek to be ignited with the spirit of GOD, The Angels, The Ascended Masters, and Jesus nothing can stop us. There will be doubters there will be those who don’t want to give you what you deserve and what is rightfully your birthright. When you encounter these people simple take a breathe and if you can spark one up and let them go. Sometimes you will be loyal to a fault and learn a harsh lesson that not everyone will share your philosophy of being of service and value. When this happens realize that it is time to move on and GOD has other plans for you.
