As I listened to Jim Croce’s Operator I began to think what call are we placing and how are we being perceived when we make the call.  I have a friend Cynthia Segal who helps to place a great call to help people enhance their personal and professional life. She has a site www.redphonetogod.com. She has been named one of the top psychics in the world. When you call her and she makes the special call for you she will give you the messages she receives. Then it is up to you to follow through and take action remembering that Passion + Action = Success.

Spiritual Awakening: Types of Calls

I utilize my phone in many situations and each time befor I dial I get myslef centered and grounded and prepare by asking what call am a I making:

1: The Invitation- The call where you are inviting someone to attend an event. Make sure to explain why it will be beneficial to them.

2: The Donation- The call where you are asking for support of a project or cause. Make sure you touch the heart of the person you are speaking with.

3: The Thinking About You Call.  A short call to remind someone they are important

Spiritual Awakening: Namaste For Everyone!!!!!!

I was listening to The Barney (Yes The Purple Dinosaur) Song I love you, you love me……. and began to think what if I could change the lyrics and make it a song about Namaste and came up with I am Divine, Your are Divine, Namaste for Everyone, spread it everyday at work and at play, show your love like an angel or a dove and let’s praise our source from above, Namaste for Everyone.  As I began to share this idea I was asked what Namste was? I found the following answer to help people new to the spiritual path  to become more enlightened.

The gesture Namaste represents the belief that there is a Divine spark within each of us that is located in the heart chakra. The gesture is an acknowledgment of the soul in one by the soul in another. “Nama” means bow, “as” means I, and “te” means you. Therefore, Namaste literally means “bow me you” or “I bow to you.” The picture above shows how to deliver Namaste as to place your hands infront of your heart charka and bow to the person you are greeting or saying good by to.

This article was inspired by Rick Figley and Stacy Sossner, who were recipients of A Spiritual Entrepreneurs Visionary Award for their outstanding work in helping people find their divine within. Their facebook group Being in Namaste has great uplifting stories like the one shared by Elaine Caban, who I had the pleasure of interviewing on my radio show and who is always full of love and joy. I have had the privilidge to meet so many wonderful people who truly exemplify the idea of being in Namaste. Many were recipients of The Spiritual Entrepreneurs Visionary Award in March. Spiritual Awakening: What is Your Power?

When I was a kid I remember watching Superfriends on Saturday Morning and thinking how powerful these characters are. As I got older I began to ask the question, what is your power?  Over the years of exploring I found my power to be the ability to bring people together for the benefit of others. In high school I was the one who captained our March of Dimes Walk Team, in college I was the one who organized the special events like The Homecoming Bon Fire, where we collected donations for a local children’s hospital. After college I joined The Jaycees and quickly  began chairing special events. Today I do volunteer work with The American Cancer Society through Relay for Life and have found my power in fundraising. For the last 9 years I have been a STAR Supporter of The Relays that i participated in, raising a minimum of $1500 each year. Finding your power can be done by:

1: Meditation

2: Doing a Personal Skill Set Inventory

3: Finding What Makes You Come Alive

4: Looking at What Brings You Joy

5: Studying and Reading

Spiritual Awakening: Fufilling Your Potential

I am reminded that we are all put on this earth for a purpose and we have the potential to fufill that purpose. I was looking back at my middle school year book when I came upon a note written by Mr. Doyle that read to a a youg man with a lot of potential if he would only use it. I knew that I had a potential for greatness in any endeavor that I would undertake and this was reinforced by that statement in my year book. It is when we begin to look inside ourselves that we find the greatness we have. It is when we decide to share this greatness and develop this greatness that we begin to fufill our potential.

  

I remember a journey I set upon about 13 years ago to help people affected by cancer. I knew I had the potential to make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer as I was very gifted with the ability to ask for asssitance. In 2000 I participated in my first Relay for Life to benefit The American Cancer Society. I used many of my contacts to secure silent auction items and I made a statement that The American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Coral Springs has the potential to be a $100,000 a year Relay. I most recently participated in The American Cancer Society Relay for Life of West Boca Raton and made a statement that this Relay has The Potential to bea $100,000 a year Relay. I believe that when you see potential in something or someone that it is important to recognize that potential and to help fufill that pontential.
