Spiritual Awakening: Taking The Road Home!!!

When one  is involved in the spiritual awakening process they begin to explore a path that will take them back to their roots so that they can understand where they were and where they are going. In taking action to prepare for a journey home one looks to their heritage and begins to see how the backgrounds of their family and the land they originally called home has shaped them into who they are today. In seeking to take the road home one may feel like Lewis and Clark as  they explored The West. Lewis and Clark needed a guide and found  Sacajawea. In our own expedition of  self discovery we will also need our guides. Our guides who can help us to take the road home will come in forms of Ascended Masters like Jesus, Merlin, Saint Teresa and more. In studying the works of theses ascended masters and applying the teachings you will be able to travel the road home creating peace, love, joy, and prosperity.

 

As you begin to communicate with the ascended masters you will find the answers that you seek. These answers will come to you at many times and in many forms. Sometimes the messages will be delivered through meditation at other times through your dreams and at other times in your waking hours. In being in tune with your own divinity and the teachings of the ascended masters you will begin to clear out that which may be interfering with your desire to create the life that you want for yourself. The Ascended Masters walk with you daily moment by moment on your road home.

Spiritual Awakening: Fixing The Broken Road!!!

 In the spiritual awakening process we may come across a broken road in our path. When we come to that broken road  we must understand GOD put that road there for a purpose and to remind us to take action to do something to fix the broken road. The broken road may represent a part of us that needs to be patched up or fixed. Our broken road is being worked on by GOD and the angels who are constantly sending messages to us to move forward in a positive direction of our dreams. Sometimes along our spiritual path that leads to personal and professional growth we may come upon detours. It is when we come upon these detours that we understand that GOD and the angels have a reason for putting up these detours and by accepting them and working through them we become stronger.

Spiritual Awakening: Practicing Peace And Patience!!!

I am sitting in The Lou Bachrodt Cheverolet waiting area as a recall notice on my car gets taken care of when I realized that most of the customers need a copy of this book and can experience a spiritual awakening. I have been waiting since 11:30 AM and it is now 3:05 PM, instead of getting angry I am practicing peace and patience. I made a decision to work on a few things like setting up a fundraiser for The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of West Boca Raton with Chuck E. Cheese as it can be done on-line and I have access to Wi-Fi. The TV is on CNN so I put on my ear buds and cancelled out the negativity. In taking a deep breathe and being patient I have been able to take action on a few things. I found a place to plug in and use my lap top and thus I have been able to set my area as sacred space and utilize my spiritual teachings to progress through the day.  In practicing peace and patience I have found that things tend to flow in a more positive direction for me.  In making peace and patience an anthem we are able to further our awakening and answer our calling while coming alive and being of service and value to others. In making a commitment to change and allowing things to flow and further understand  that the way things are and the way things should be allow us to peacefully move in the positive direction of our dreams.

When you practice peace and patience you shine your light bright and change the vibration of  the environment that you are in simply by being understanding. The other day I was out collecting donations for The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of West Boca Raton when a man became angry with me and started to berate me as I walked in to his tattoo shop I simply said sir I did not come to argue with you I am simply doing something to help those affected by cancer thank you and have a nice day. I left and went about seeing other businesses. At the end of 1 hour I collected $21. I drove home all the while thinking how not getting angry changed my vibration and the way I was received because I was practicing peace and patience.  I then understood the spiritual lesson being given to me of detach from the situation as the person saying no or being mean has nothing to do with me, however the way I choose to react has everything to do with me. As we practice peace and patience more and more we begin to realize that the universe is conspiring to help us have success in all we do.

Spiritual Awakening: Walking The Kindness Path!!!

This entry is inspired by Dr. Chuck Wall who began The Random Acts Of Kindness Movement. Kindness Awareness Week Will be held From February 9-15, 2014 and people are encouraged to visit www.kindnessusa.org and learn more about the week. While you are on the site you will learn the power that kindness has in enhancing our personal and professional lives.  Each morning when we awake we have a choice as to how our day will go. When we choose to follow our spiritual awakening and embrace the concept of kindness we will see that we have a more pleasant day then if we are angry or holding onto things from yesterday.

Spiritual Awakening: Boarding The Good Karma Train!!!

 Since I experienced a spiritual awakening I have learned that I am the engineer of my life. In becoming the engineer of my life I have also discovered that you are the engineer of your life. I further discovered that life is much like a train ride and in many cases it is easy to get derailed. When one is derailed they need to repair the damage and re-board the train and if the train seems to be taking them to a wrong destination it is time to get off and find another way to get to the destination. Sometimes in means getting off at an unexpected destination and reevaluating what you are doing so that you can board the right train. As I sat in Starbucks today and reflected I realized it was time to board the good karma train and thus become conscious of how I was resonating with others and what I could change to be part of a positive shift that would move the community forward in a positive direction. It was at a moment when I got to the bottom of my Caramel Flan Frappuccino that I realized if I want positivity in my life I need to be more positive. As I began to shift and board the good karma train the reaction I was getting changed. As I began  to interact in a positive unobtrusive manner the train began to fill with passengers and the interaction created more positive energy that began to shift the mood of many at The Starbucks.  As I started to just be my authentic self I felt a sense of relief and joy come over me. As I interacted with people I was able to hear some great inspirational stories such as jay a three time combat wounded veteran, a retired NYPD detective, and currently working with The Department of Children and Families. He also does a TV Show on Spike. We struck up a conversation as I was throwing out a napkin and he said 2 points, you want to go for a three pointer if you make it I’ll buy you a coffee, I wadded up a napkin went back about 15 feet, I missed the shot miserably. Thank you to jay for your insight and for boarding the good karma train.

Spiritual Awakening: Get Your Tickets To Board The Good Karma Train!!

 In getting your tickets for the good karma train you will need a deserve to serve, love in your heart,  and a welcoming smile. Once you are on the train you will want to have an attitude of gratitude that will propel you to take action to spread peace, love, and happiness to others so that you continue to move closer to your desired destination. As The train makes several stops you will want to take a moment to journal and decide if you should get off and take a look around and appreciate the surroundings that are around you. If you decide to re-board you will want to bring a want to apply the knowledge you have learned and a curiosity to explore your own divinity.  On the good karma train you will find positive reminders to following your calling and to make the changes that are required to design the life that you desire. As you exit the good karma train and explore your destination you will want to remember to come alive, find ways to serve the community, and help others to follow their dreams.

Spiritual Awakening: Always Be Available!!!

   In my spiritual awakening I have found that it is important to make yourself available for others. It is true you can not be available all the time and sometimes there are scheduling conflicts, however if you can be flexible and make yourself available you will find that positive things begin to happen. I often thought why would businesses be open 24 hours and then I realized that sometimes a person needs something and the only place to get it is from a place that is open 24 hours.  Personally it is hard to be open 24 hours as you do need time to rest, relax, and rejuvenate so you can be of service and value to others. When planning your work and working your plan you should make sure you have a bit of flexibility so that you can be open for others as you never know what can transpire when you are open.

 You can control your time and the better you control the time the more successful you will be. I hear people all the time say this is not a good time or I am too busy or I am in a meeting when I call them. So I begin to ask when is a good time to connect with you. If you tell me 3:00 PM on Friday and I call you at 3:00 PM on Friday and you again tell me it is not a good time then I put the ball in your court and allow you to make the next call  when you are ready. Ask yourself how many opportunities did you miss out on because you made an excuse about time.  It all comes down to being spiritually awake and aware that everyone’s time matters and the better respect we have for time the more successes we will encounter. By making time you will find that positive things happen. Sometimes you will have to adjust accordingly as many things occur to through off the best laid plans of mice and me. The question you should ask is what do you do when the expected occurs?

Spiritual Awakening: Letting Your Greatness Shine!!!

 Today’s blog entry was inspired by The Gallaudet University Football Team. Gallaudet University is a university specifically for the deaf and hearing impaired. I first learned of Gallaudet a few years ago when my cousin who is hearing impaired came to visit and she shred with me that Gallaudet has a football program. I was fascinated by the way they sent in the signals. I was so intrigued that I started to follow the team. Today (12/23/13) for the 1st time in the football program’s history they are playing in The Division III Playoffs against Hobart University. These 54 players and coaches inspired me to let my greatness shine and I hope that this entry will encourage you to continue on the path of spiritual awakening and let your greatness shine. may the Gallaudet Bison continue to inspire others to shine bright.

 When I think of greatness I think of Muhamed Ali as he is known as The Greatest. Ali had a certain way of carrying himself that exuded confidence.  Ali also had a very spiritual side to him. he changed his given name of Cascius Clay to Muhamed Ali and he stood up for his beliefs. He was so strong in his conviction that he refused to serve his country in Vietnam.  Many people did not like this decision and it cost Ali many years as he was not allowed to box. he kept his faith and his boxing license was restored and he went on to win the Heavyweight Title on many occasions. Ali was a person who was awakened and enlightened spiritually.  He serves as an example to all to stand their ground and be divinely guided with your decisions. Despite having Parkinson’s Disease he continues to make appearances and inspire others to let their greatness shine.

  It was 50 years ago when  John Fitzgerald Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas. I was not born yet, however I studied Kennedy in school and when applying to colleges in 1983 American University asked as one of  its essay questions, what day in history would you change and why. I chose 11/22/1963 because Kennedy was starting to bring our country together and helping people to have a spiritual awakening. Kennedy being the first Roman Catholic elected to the highest office in The United States Kennedy show many what having a strong faith can do for you. Kennedy also gave people permission to allow their greatness to shine bright as he encouraged people to look a t what they could do for their country. Kennedy also started The U.S. peace Corps in an effort to improve diplomatic relations with other countries. As a Returned U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer I can tell you that serving in The Philippines from July 2002 – February 2003 helped to develop a spiritual foundation that has allowed me to make positive changes in my life.  It is using Kennedy’s example and answering the question of how can I be of service and value that we are able to find our calling and come alive. In coming alive we give others permission to let their greatness shine.

Spiritual Awakening: Unleashing Your Inner Don Quixote!!!

 One of my favorite Operas/musicals is Man Of La Mancha. The character, Don Quixote, was fighting windmills. The windmills represented the inner demons that he was facing. As I listened to the music and began to understand the message being deliver I discovered just like Don Quixote many of us are experiencing a spiritual awakening. We are waking up and becoming aware that we have greatness inside of us and that our light is meant to shine bright and thus we are becoming action takers. We are beginning to adopt anthems and thus unleashing our inner Don Quixote and showing others that they can step into their greatness and become who they desire to be. Don Quixote was doubted by many, chastised by others, however he stuck to his mission and taught us about pursuing dreams and being a leader in our personal and professional lives.  In awakening we unleash that inner Don Quixote and we leave all the doubters and naysayers behind as we pursue the purpose that we have discovered. It is when we fully commit to our quest that we begin to understand our calling and thus enhance our personal and professional lives while being of service and value to others. A change occurs when you come alive and embrace the spiritual awakening that you are experiencing. There will be battles that are won and battles that are lost and each one will teach us valuable lessons along our path.

Don Quixote had his loyal servant Sancho to encourage him and move him in the direction of his dreams. Who do you have in your circle that is lifting you? How are you being a lifter?  A strong belief in your self and others will propel you positively along your spiritual path towards enlightenment thus allowing you to experience the joy that comes from being surrounded by encouragers and lifters while also becoming a lifter.

 Many will doubt your dreams and do what they can to discourage you. My advice is do not listen to them and unleash your inner Don Quixote and pursue the dream. To pursue your dream takes courage. There are many stories about those who did not let the naysayers win and pursued their dreams and as a result have found joy, an inner peace, and abundance. Some will say oh they were lucky, others will say oh that can never be me, while others will say if they can do it I can do it.  The journey starts when you are committed to following your dream. It is when you write it down in the form of I will and start to take action steps towards that goal.

Spiritual Awakening: Creating Your Own Energy Company!!!

Imagine being your own Con Edison or Florida Power and Light. Well now you can create your own energy as you embrace the fact that you have had a spiritual awakening and you are understanding more and more that we are all made up of energy. The way we use our energy is very important. I have found that the mornings where I get up in time to step outside and gaze at a sunrise and simply breathe and set my intention have allowed me to become an action taker. On some occasions playing some of the songs that I have made my anthems have created an energetic charge that sets me into a zone of moving forward positively in the direction of my dreams. It is through the awakening process that we find our calling and begin to witness changes in our personal and professional life.

In creating your own positive energy company you begin a journey to spiritual bliss that will propel you to vibrate at a higher frequency. It is when you stimulate those positive electrons that you begin to awaken spiritually and attract the right people into your life because you are vibrating at a higher frequency. One good gauge of the level of your energy company is how things are unfolding through out the day. Look at what energy you are bringing to the table and how people are reacting to it. Through out the day you will adjust the lumens that you are giving off as it is important to remember you will not resonate with everyone, however those that you do resonate with will assist you in achieving your goals and objectives.

The spiritual energy that you create will determine your altitude and how far you climb up the chart towards self actualization. The energy field will expand and create that which you focus on the most. If you focus on doing tasks in a joyful manner you will create a joyful energy field and thus have joy in your life. The  energy company you create is totally up to you. It all comes back to what you give out returns to you.

Spiritual Awakening: 9-11-13 Moving Forward!!!!

 

 Alan Jackson ask us where we were on 9-11-2001 when the earth stopped turning as we watched in horror and disbelief as The United States of America was attacked. I was preparing to go to work at The Vista School as I was one of their substitute teachers. I remember getting to school to find parents, kids, and the staff in a state of anguish. School was cancelled for the day. I told the principal I could stay and be a set of ears and she said okay. I took a deep breath and made a decision to help people move forward. That day I didn’t have the answers as to why this happened and 12 years later I still don’t.  On that day 12 years ago I shared with all those who I knew that perhaps this was GOD’S way of alerting us and waking us up that we as people have an obligation to come together and make the world a better place. It was a wake up call to move forward and get in touch with our spirituality and to embrace the spiritual awakening.  Here we are 12 years after the attack and we still have many issues that are in need of being addressed so we can realize that we as people are more alike than we are different.  It is a time to move forward. It is a time tom honor those who stepped up on that day and continue to step up to help us to move forward in our quest to make a positive difference in the lives of others while enhancing our personal and professional life. We will not change the events that happened 12 years ago, however in moving forward we can change the way we conduct ourselves and how we treat each other.  In moving forward and putting judgment aside we begin to better understand that spiritual awakenings and messages are occurring around us all the time.

 In remembering 9-11-2001 we also begin to understand that the message of this day that created a spiritual awakening in many is to roll forward. Neil Young’s song Let’s Roll gives us all a clear cut message to take action. Is there something that you have been putting off because of fear of what may happen. For the passengers on United Flight 93 they knew they had to do something, they paid the ultimate price, Those brave action takers saved many lives as they sacrificed their own. Their actions moved many to move forward and take action to make a difference in their communities. Today as the names were read I visualized the people watching the remembrance service having a spiritual awakening and making a commitment to move forward.
