Spiritual Awakening:Making An Upgrade!!!

As I was setting up my dad’s new 55″ Polaroid HDTV, which was a major upgrade from his 32″ analog Sylvania TV I thought about how sometimes we must make upgrades along our spiritual journey so as to have a clearer picture of who we are and what we are doing and why we are doing it. As I was setting up the TV I was a bit upset because I was following the directions in the manual and things weren’t working so I finally called Comcast and the gentleman from Comcast walked me through the process and now we have a clear high definition picture and my dad is happy that he can watch his shows on his new TV. The spiritual lesson here is to know that you may not have all the answers but knowing where to seek the answers is important.

Once we are clear on our purpose we are able to take action and enhance our vision and share this vision with the world. Just like the picture on the HDTV gives us a clearer vision of what we are watching so does making an upgrade in your spiritual practices. Think of things you want to upgrade in your personal and professional life and what action to take to bring more clarity of your vision and purpose to life. The HDTV is not the reason for the joy the process and knowledge that you can make a change is what brings you joy. In the awakening process we can watch transformations occur in our own life and in the lives of those around us. Watching my dad listen and take direction from me as we set up the TV and realizing that my getting frustrated did not serve me or him was a major step in getting clarity on the role I play in my dad’s life as he is 80 years old and first starting to let go of his desire to be right all the time. Through just a simple upgrade of a TV he saw a lesson in spirituality as he took action instead if saying what he would say in the past eventually or someday. One of the biggest issues my dad has is procrastination. By recognizing this I have found that one of my purposes while on this earth is to make sure he is taking action to move forward and upgrade his life. Watching my dad come alive because he is willing to make changes and take action has shown me how important it is to make spiritualistic upgrades.

Spiritual Awakening:Daylight Saving Time Loss Or Gain?

The Spring Ahead Daylight Savings Time Clip Art. As we spring ahead some will say we lose an hour while others will say we gain daylight. The question is what is your perception? As part of the spiritual awakening process I see it as an enhanced opportunity to grow in spirit and strengthen our connection to nature. In getting home at 6 PM and having it still be light out I am able to spend time in the light and reflect in my sacred space. I have also found that when it is lighter out longer I vibrate at a higher level of joy and thus radiate more joy and happiness and as a result find myself having greater success in March – October than in October -March. There is something very spiritual about getting up and watching the sunrise and then being able to stay outside and witness the sunset. In each case we can show gratitude to GOD for giving us a day to be glad and rejoice in the realm of possibilities that are presented to us. I look at Daylight Saving Time as a great chance to spend more time out in nature and to achieve greater things in the community. Though many will see the springing forward as a loss of time I see it actually as an opportunity to become more connected to your divinity as you have a little more daylight to enjoy.

The idea of more sunlight gives me more time to spend in my sacred space so as to create a oneness consciousness while I enhance the mind, body, soul connection. I find the extra daylight allows me to relax more as I don’t like to drive in the dark so the release of stress enables me to be more productive as I look forward to getting home and spending time outside in reflection. I find myself more relaxed during Daylight Saving Time so I would have to say it is a gain for me. In the light I can achieve the greater things that need to be done and have a better sense of purpose as more is being accomplished.

As time passes it is up to us to do what we can with the time that we have. I find that when you can sit in silence at the sunrise and do a gratitude exercise you can set in motion positive events that will propel you to have success in your personal, professional, and spiritual life. When we embrace these time passages we can reflect so we can move forward in a positive direction of our goals and dreams. With a little extra daylight we can finish projects that we were putting off because we used the darkness as an excuse now that excuse has been eliminated so we now have the light to help us bring some projects to fruition.

Spiritual Awakening: Kindness Begets Kindness!!!

... Self Care Challenge for today: Perform a random act of kindness Acts of Kindness As the news stories broke and all the acts of violence I kept thinking where are the stories of kindness. Through the spiritual awakening process I have learned that what we focus on expands so if we focus on violence and aggression that this is what we will see but if we focus on kindness and caring this is what we will see. I believe no is the time for people to take action and to be kind to one another. It is time to adopt an anthem to be loving and caring in all we do and to show kindness through our actions. I was at Taco Bell yesterday and the cashier asked if I would like to donate $1 to help end world hunger. I gladly gave the $1 as GOD loves a cheerful giver and I told the cashier next time ask if I would like to help feed people. It is the same question phrased differently but the universe responds better when we use positive words. I have been promoting The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of West Boca Raton and they adopted a theme of Finish The Fight which sounds great and gets many people’s attention but it goes against spiritual principles because what you resist will persist so now instead of saying Finish The Fight I ask please help me help those touched by cancer get back on a path to health and wellness. Ask yourself how are you phrasing things and how are your words impeding kindness to flow to you and from you.

I have learned during the spiritual awakening process that it is important to be nice regardless of the situation. When you feel yourself moving away from your kindness zone take a deep breathe and be nice. I have learned that people will not always treat you the way you want to be treated be kind to them anyway. I host a TV Show, The Anything Bucket, on www.wrpbitv.com that airs on Tuesday at 6:30 PM EST. One of my responsibilities is to secure guests. I am a bit surprised by people when they turn down the opportunity to be on the show. I find myself being a bit critical then I realize that this does not serve me well so I remember the teachings that some will, some won’t, some waiting, so what, next. I also remember that it is not my job to drag them kicking and screaming along the path but to rather shine my light and show them that there is room on the path and when they are ready they can start. In learning to be kind and focus on the positive I am able to evolve spiritually and thus improve my life and be of service and value to others.

Spiritual Awakening: Time To Dance!!!

In the spiritual awakening process there comes a time to dance and to celebrate life. As I sit down to write this entry I reflect and realize that we have many reasons to dance and celebrate what GOD is doing in our lives. We have choices on what we focus on and what what we dance about. I dance because I have been given another day to create a world with less cancer and more birthdays, a day to share FREE HUGS, a day to share a positive message, a day to take the focus on the negativity being portrayed in the media, and a day to simply share positivism. I was on way way to lunch with my dad today and a woman was walking by us and I said smile it will get better she smiled and said thank you. This was my way of doing my dance of positivism simply by sharing a smile and being a lifter. Celebrating life should become a priority so as to enhance our spiritual awakening process. I have come to use the idea that when I wake up in the morning and there is not a white chalk line around my body I know it is going to be a good day because I am alive. In coming alive and understanding that this is the day the lord hath made be glad and rejoice in it I have been able to dance freely and express my joy for be able to use my GOD given talents to bring some peace, love, joy, and prosperity into the lives of others. When you awake and ask yourself how can I add value to the lives of others and then you seek to do just that at the end of the day you can dance in praise for another day of being free. Once we remove the shackles that are blocking us we are able to give thanks and praise to GOD and understand that all things are possible.

When we remove the chains of bondage that we hold in our mind and go from limiting beliefs to to limitless beliefs we begin to discover powers that allow us to thrive and move forward in a positive direction of our dreams. The only person that can stop you from progressing is you. Once you commit to taking action to remove those shackles you will find yourself dancing in praise and joy more often. When you dance on GOD’s great dance floor you shine your light, honor GOD, and make your world a better place while illuminating the world.

Spiritual Awakening: Day By Day!!!

As I awoke today this song came into my mind and for the entire day I couldn’t shake it out. As I have learned through the spiritual awakening process when a message is presented to you take a moment and meditate on it. As I started to think about the lyrics see you more clearly, love you more dearly, follow you more nearly I started to think how important the role GOD plays in our life and the direction he provides for us. Each day we have an opportunity to make a positive impact on our lives and in the lives of others simply by using our gifts for good and using our time as GOD directs us to. Many of my days are spent being of service and value to others and honoring GOD. I have found that taking each day as a single element in my life leads to productive days with outstanding results. All the daily accolades I receive are credited to GOD and The Universal Powers who are showing me the way as I become more and awake in my spirituality. When we awaken and ask ourselves daily how can I add value to someone’s life and then make every effort to do just that we will find that we grow personally and professionally. When we decide to take it day by day and make a mind. body, soul connection we begin to thrive more physically, mentally, and spiritually. When we acknowledge the presence of GOD in our lives we are able to create a oneness consciousness and move forward in the positive direction of our dreams. Many times it is when we are in tune with the message that GOD and The Universal Powers conspire to put us in the places that we need to be so that we can prosper. Today was an excellent example of this as I normally would have gone to The Starbucks on University Drive North of Oakland Park Boulevard in Sunrise, FL but the message from GOD was to go to The Starbucks on Pine Island Road and Sunrise Boulevard in Plantation, FL so I listened to the message and as a result I was able to network with people and share my TV Show, The Anything Bucket, which airs on www.wrpbitv.com on Tuesday at 6:30 PM EDT. I also received the message to wear my Relay For Life gear and the Relay For Life Medallion so I did and this opened up some doors with patrons at Starbucks and allowed me to share my message. each day we have the opportunity to do something to bring peace, love, joy, and prosperity into our lives if we simply make a commitment to follow GOD and The Universal Powers Message thus I share with you http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogg2 as my message from GOD and The Universal Powers was to continue on my quest to create a world with less cancer and more birthdays and share my mission with others.

Everyday we are given 86,400 seconds to use and how we use them sets in motion the events that will determine how much we transcend our lives and the lives of others. I have found that when I sit in mediation in the morning and plan out the day by following the messages that I receive I begin to feel more energized and more productive. I find that is deciding to focus on the moments of the day rather than what happened yesterday and what will happen tomorrow that I am more centered and balanced and that I accomplish more as I become more centered and balanced in spirituality. Some times the tings we do spontaneously in the moment detaching from the outcome reaps the best results. As humans we are programmed to plan the work and work the plan but as spiritual beings we must be willing to diverge from our own plans and allow GOD to guide us so that we can achieve the greatness and prosperity that is our birthright. One of my favorite songs is Seasons Of Love From Rent because it teaches us about using our time to the utmost benefit for ourselves and our community.

Spiritual Awakening: Only The Beginning!!!

Lao Tzu said the journey of 1,000 miles starts with the first step. As we set upon our journey of spiritual awakening we must understanding that the first step is only the beginning. Along our path we may find that special person that lifts us up and allows us to be our authentic self thus making us stronger. Sometime the words of gratitude needed to say to this person escapes us so a warm embrace is all we need to show our appreciation. Our journey must start with the the idea of gratitude. As the day begin think of what you are grateful for and look to the heavens and thank GOD for what you do have and what for what he is doing in your life. As you begin to understand that each day is a new beginning you will find yourself letting go of the past and thus you will continue to take action steps to move further along on your path of spiritual awakening. It is only the beginning of greater things to come.

As you begin your journey remember that you are a divine child of GOD and he has greater plans for you. When you feel like taking a rest take that rest but do not quit as the plans GOD has for you are greater than you can imagine and there are great things for you to do it. While you may encounter doubters leave no doubt that if you are following your heart and beginning that you will be rewarded for your efforts. I often state if you think it is hard to keep friends on social media think what Jesus must have experienced. There will always be those who doubt and there will also be those who lift you and believe in your mission. It is up to you to believe enough in yourself to take action and begin. As you begin to awaken more and more you will attract those that will support you and build you up while at the same time you will find it easier to let go of people and things that no longer serve you. Ask yourself what changes do I seek to make to answer the calling and begin to embrace my purpose. It is when you continue to work on furthering your purpose that you will begin to have clarity thus allowing you to make the mind, body, soul, connection that will create a oneness consciousness.

To achieve the royal flush in life one must be able to flush out all the negativity in their life and remove what no longer serves them. In seeking the royal flush in life one must become an action taker. How many times have you made excuses and fell short of the royal flush in life? Ask yourself why was it that you didn’t pursue the royal flush? What excuses did you make and then justify? We will either find a way or we will find an excuse.

If you were dealt a royal flush in poker chances are you would go all in? In life if you want to achieve a royal flush you must go all in and live life full out. In seeking the royal flush in life changes have to be made. If you are unhappy with the way things are in your life look at what is creating the unhappiness and what can be done to reverse that feeling. In our human existence we will encounter times of trial and tribulation some which may bring unhappiness. It is at these times that we must look inside ourselves make the mind, body, soul connection and find the joy that lies underneath all the layers of unhappiness. We can sit an wallow in pain or we can stand up and do something.

Spiritual Awakening: Oh It’s So Big!!!

As part of the spiritual awakening process we learn that the universe is big. It contains so much energy that when we first contemplate its magnitude we may become overwhelmed. It is at that moment at time that we must step back and examine the actions that we are taking so as to better enhance our spiritual journey. Exploring the universe is much like eating a large meal as you look at the portion that is being offered to you you think oh it’s so big how am I going to eat this then you realize you cane at it and enjoy it one bite at a time. As you examine the universe and begin to understand how to harness the energy it contains and use it for the greater good you begin to create a oneness consciousness that will assist you in your personal and professional endeavors. You will find yourself guided to ascended masters who will hold the answers to the questions you ask. You will begin to discover that there are many people who are being placed in your path to guide you to a positive outcome along your spiritual path. As you continue along your spiritual path you may find forks in the path and you will be guided to take the best path for you. You may stand at that crossroad and think oh this is a big decision. At that moment it is important to stop, breathe, and ask GOD and the ascended masters to guide you in the right direction. In some cases the message may be to stop turn around and come back to this decision on another day. Sometimes taking a time out and seeking guidance is the best way to allow the spirituality that we posses to become one with the universe.

The Message : why I ran for County Council, my committment, how I ... How many times have you received a message and thought oh it’s so big how can I do that and not gone forward with the message from GOD and The Universal Powers we call Ascended Masters. I have stated many times before that if GOD brings you to it he will bring your through it. I have seen this so many times along my spiritual path. Recently I was given the news that my radio show, Get Motivated With Jonathan JDOGG Lederman, which airs on www.blogtalkradio.com/hrafnstongradio will be going off the air and my last show will be on 9/29/2014. At first I was disappointed but then I realized that GOD has more plans for me. My first reaction tot he decision was oh it’s so big then I took a breathe and realized GOD has bigger plans for me and wants to provide opportunities where I will prosper.

Imagine the phone rings and the operator say I have a collect call from GOD, would you accept the charges? If you said yes what would you discuss? Would you thank GOD for all he has done in your life? Would you ask him why he allows bad things to happen to good people? Would you ask why he took some people from you too soon?

You don’t have to wait for that collect call as GOD is reaching out to you every moment. GOD will provide you with the answers that you are seeking all it takes is for you to open up your mind, body, and soul to his communication. In taking action to create a oneness conscious and communicate with GOD you will see that he is in control and will direct you accordingly. It is up to you to see and hear the messages from GOD and act upon them.

Spiritual Awakening: Answering GOD’S Call!!!

On Tuesday July 8, 2014 I received an email about a charity basketball game being played in Boca Raton. I call the promoter asked if they had a PA Announcer and was told no so I asked if they would like me to be their PA Announcer. The gentleman putting on the game said yes and on Saturday July 12 I will be The PA Announcer for The 2nd Annual Celebrity Basketball Game to benefit PROPEL. AS Part of The Spiritual Awakening Process I have learned to seek the call from GOD and answer them by taking action. I have learned that if GOD brought me to it GOD will bring me through it. I have learned that we can plan our day, our week, or our month but the true guide of our plans is GOD. If we seek what GOD wants from us and we follow his message we will be guided to success.

Spiritual Awakening: Kindness Rules The Day!!!!

Today’s post was inspired by an encounter I had with Arley at The Verizon Wireless Store as I walked in to get a new phone charger cord for my phone when he said today is your lucky day and gave me a free replacement. It was very kind of him I told him about Arley The Bear from www.feelthehugs.com and we ended up having a great conversation. This led me to think about how in the spiritual awakening process kindness rules the day. I then arrived at my clubhouse in Sunrise Lakes Phase III and thought how can I tae action to make kindness rule the day. The answer came to be to simply be kind and watch what happens when you make kindness part of your day. It doesn’t cost anymore to be kind to people and you will see a change as you resonate and vibrate with kindness. In being kind you will feel an inner connection to your divinity that allows you to come alive and manifest the type of day that you would like to have. In committing to be kind and to be of service and value to your community you put in motion a vibrational force that gives others permission to be kind. When you step back and breathe and become aware of your emotions and you say I will approach all situations from a position of kindness you will see a shift in the paradigm that you are experience and kindness will rule the day.
