Spiritual Awakening:Changes in Latitudes,Changes in Attitude!!!
Today’s entry was inspired by Jimmy Buffet and his song, Changes in Latitudes, Changes in Attitudes. As I listened to the song I realized all the spiritual references such as not looking back for to long, having the ability to laugh and then having the ability to move forward on our path to spiritual awakening. Have you ever noticed that when you change your latitude that your attitude changes. Sometimes it can be as easy as moving a little forward or backward that we begin to see a different perspective on life. In many cases it is when we take responsibility for our attitude that we begin to realize that what is happening for us has nothing to do with others but with ourselves.
It is when we decide to change that we truly begin to have a spiritual awakening. When we put the past behind and realize you can not change what has happened we begin to move forward in our spiritual development to have this spiritual awakening. In having a spiritual awakening we are better able to understand why certain things are occurring and why certain people react to us and our actions in a certain way. When we begin to understand that for this spiritual awakening to continue we must check our EGO at the door as EGO is Edging GOD Out. When you don’t have that relationship with GOD you begin to question everything and thus remain stuck and never change the latitude or the attitude. It takes a great deal of courage to go deep inside yourself to have this spiritual awakening and to share what you have found as many may not be ready to explore their divinity and have their own spiritual wakening. You have the opportunity to find the answers that you seek as you begin to awaken spirituality more and more. It is when you make the commitment to follow the purpose that you have discovered through your spiritual awakening that you begin co-create the life that you desire. By remembering that all things are possible through GOD you will experience your spiritual awakening and be given the direction in order to be of service and value to yourself and others.
Each day as part of my spiritual awakening I read this book from Rev. Dr. Dee Adio-Moses. Today Passage was about having GOD as my boss. It reminded me that the highest upon all high is GOD and GOD is who I shall listen to as GOD provides the messages to help me further my purpose and to understand this spiritual awakening process. I have come to realize that GOD doesn’t give us anything we can’t handle, GOD gives us what we can handle is an effort to season us and strengthen us so that we can shine our light for others to see so that they can watch what GOD is doing in our life and know GOD is working inn their life as well.
As part of my spiritual awakening I have come to understand that GOD has enabled me to be awoken and has given me a mission to help other people excel. I have come to realize that the messages GOD sends are to be listened to and obeyed as GOD has a purpose for you and knows you will carry out that purpose. GOD may have to get angry with you so that you receive the message and act upon it and create a spiritual awakening for those you interact with.
Every morning as part of my spiritual awakening ritual I read a passage from Mary Morrissey’s Book, The Miracle Minute. In March of 2012 I had the opportunity to gift copies of her book to the attendees of The Spiritual Entrepreneurs Visionary Awards. Those that have utilized this book have definitely changed their latitude and thus changed their attitude thus furthering their spiritual awakening. Today the passage I read spoke of being a vision holder and encouraging others by supporting their vision. As I read the passage I was reminded about the concept of being a lifter and thought how will I life someone today? The answer was simple by being an action taker and sharing this blog with others I am lifting the reader and helping them to have their spiritual awakening and to embrace their divinity.
Today change your latitude change your attitude and you will begin to see the greatness that is in you. It is important to unleash that greatness and show others how you are shining your light and how your spiritual awakening is creating the life you desire. Remember, Stay Positive!
