Spiritual Awakening: GOD Answers To Many Names!!!

 

 As I watched this video it reminded that during our spiritual awakening we will know GOD by many names. In each name there is abuilding of a relationship with the one most powerful and as we awaken more and more each day we find that we become more and more powerful. In Hebrew I am known as Yusel Simcha, which translates to Jonathan The Blessing. My American Name Jonathan means sent from GOD. Like GOD we will be known by different names and each name will fit us and place us on the path of spiritual growth and development. It is when you have a spiritual awakening that you begin to understand the age old question of Why Am I Here?  It is when you turn to GOD regardless of the name you call him that you will find the answer.

Spiritual Awakening: Life Is A Coloring Book!!!

 As I sat in Burger King with my FREE HUGS, STAY POSITIVE Sign I began to contemplate the fact that Life Is A Coloring Book, which led to the furthering of my own spiritual awakening. I began to look at the colors I decided to use on the sign and I realized that each had a meaning and that I was guided by source to use certain colors as I wrote the sign. I then chose to explore the meaning of colors and what it means to look at life as a coloring book. We can choose to stay with the lines and limit ourselves or we can color outside the lines and be limitless in all we do. We have the ability to color our own world and to shine our light in our own coloring book as we begin to awaken spiritually and explore the horizons that we see. When we take a moment to see GOD’S creations in this coloring book we begin to see the beauty that is all around us and with this recognition of beauty we also see the beauty in ourselves.  When we pick up our spiritual crayons and we begin to draw out our beauty we begin to find beauty in others and the world around us improves.  We may ask why did I choose the color car drive or the color of the walls in my home, or the colors that I like and now we know it is because life is a coloring book.

 In my coloring book I have a sign that I brought to life in hopes of inspiring people and touching their lives with a positive thought for the day.  Everyone’s coloring book will have different pictures that inspire and empower them to take action.  It was a big step for me to make this sign and bring it to life and share it in public as at first I was fearful about what people would think, then I took that deep breathe, meditated, and understood it doesn’t matter what other people will say. What matters is that I bring my coloring book to life and touch lives as I walk my spiritual path. It is in the journey in our coloring book that we begin to discover our authentic self and we then express ourselves by shining our light.

Spiritual Awakening: Living In Joy!!!

  Upon my spiritual awakening I learned that to live in joy one must express joy in all they do. Today in what was a great show of giving at The Kids of Love Mix and Mingle Event when Caleb, a child who is deaf and also has a lung disease and must eat through a  feeding tube was given a framed Miami Heat Championship poster many realized what living in joy was all about. This led to many of the attendees discussing what really mattered in life and that was living in joy and bringing joy to others.  Caleb was full of life and vibrant as he helped everyone, when someone dropped their cards he quickly picked them up and handed them to them. Caleb was able to read lips and when I gave him a thumbs up he gave me a thumbs up back. Seeing this joy propelled me through the day and will be drawn on when I seek to be re-centered and grounded. Caleb’s love of life was contagious and for a few minutes those in attendance forgot about business and profits and got in touch with their spirituality and divinity.  One of those in attendance mentioned how her church could help Kids of Love, www.kidsoflove.org. We spoke of divinity and what really matters at the end of the day is knowing you were of service and value and brought joy to your life and the lives of others.

 Beethoven’s Ode To Joy is a great song to use as a tool for living in joy. Put it on and sit quietly with you eyes closed and think about that which has brought you joy. Then as you open your eyes write down three things you will do during the day to bring joy into the lives of others.

Spiritual Awakening: Only The Beginning!!!

 

 The group Chicago delivers a message of spiritual awakening through their song Only The Beginning. Though the song speaks of a new beginning in a relationship the lyric can be applied to our spiritual awakening and the spiritual path that we are on as when you awaken spiritually it is a new beginning and when you continue on the path each step is like a new beginning. Another song that speaks of a beginning is The Carpenters, We’ve Only Just Begun.

The Carpenters remind us that when we awakening spiritually our relationship with GOD is a new beginning. As you strive to have that oneness consciousness with GOD it is important to remember each day is a new beginning and to realize it is the day the lord hath made so be glad and rejoice in it. By acknowledging your spiritual awakening and embracing your divinity you will begin to see that this is only the beginning. As you continue to evolve spiritually you will begin to receive and act on messages that will take you to heights that you never imagined. It is said that everything is possible through GOD and this is true as GOD lives in us and through us giving us messages to act upon and deliver to others. It is acknowledging that we have only just begun that we begin to set in motion the action that will propel us to our greatness. It is in recognizing your calling and beginning to act on that calling that you will co-create the life you desire.

Spiritual Awakening: Taking Out The Trash!!!

 

 As a child I watched Sesame Street and was very intrigued by Oscar The Grouch. Oscar was happy to live in his garbage can and accumulate stuff. There was one episode in which Bob and Maria help Oscar get rid of some of his stuff. At first he didn’t want to but then when we realized he didn’t need some of what he had accumulated he began to throw it out. At the end of the episode he appeared to be happier.  Oscar reminds me of many people who have had a spiritual awakening and continue to grow spiritually and personally because they have accepted the fact they have trash and are removing it. The trash we have  can be emotional baggage from past occurrences or  actual physical possessions that for some reason we continue to hold onto.

Spiritual Awakening: Strategies For Taking Out The Trash!!!

 When it comes to your physical trash make some piles keep, throw away. The keep pile should be the things that serve you. The throw away is for those things that no longer serve you. As you go through your stuff make your decisions and stick to it. When you take action you begin to move forward in your journey as you will feel better and less cluttered.

Spiritual Awakening: Come Together!!!!

 

 As I was looking for the inspiration for today’s entry a message kept repeating itself to me and then I found this Beatles song, Come Together. It has become an  anthem for those who understand that when you work together you accomplish more. The idea that 1+1 = 3 is that you take me with my idea and I take you with your idea and together we come up with another idea. I am often asked JDOGG, why is it you collaborate so much with others and my answer is always because together everyone accomplishes more. It is when you awaken spiritually and understand that every person you come in contact with has something they can offer that is when you have your most success. Instead of writing someone off because they don’t drive a fancy car, or live in an expensive home, or have what you consider to be a lot of money, think what do they know that can help me? It is when we make the conscious effort to look beyond the materialistic possessions and look at the spiritual possession that we achieve an awakening to a higher calling that paves the way for success.  Many speak of what they will do while others take action and do it. Many will sit in judgment and miss out on valuable relationships because they are quick to dismiss the other person.  It is when you come together and are open to receive and answer your calling that you can make a change in your life and in others.

 When was the last time you walked up to someone at a networking event and said Hello, I just wanted to tell you I  like your style or Hello, thanks for taking the time to come to this event, tell me a little about yourself. For my friends that I see on a regular basis I will often walk up and say Hello, Give me a hug, I love your way. Making people feel important is a key in coming together. Creating a sense of community by coming together from a position of love and gratitude will enhance your personal and professional life and the lives of others. There is a saying Teamwork Makes The Dream Work, think about it you work together for the common good and everyone involved benefits in someway.

Spiritual Awakening: A Breakthrough At Starbucks!!!

 As I sat in my local Starbucks on a rainy afternoon today (6/13/13) I overheard a women talking about promotions thus I walked over and introduced myself. It turns out she was a spiritual healer. Her name is Catherine and she is amazing she took time to help me and we made a breakthrough as I was able to utter the words I am aggressive and that is okay. She was able to hone in on the fact that I am holding a lot of my past inside and that until I release these emotions I will continue to go in circles. Thus I take the time to ask those that I may have hurt with my words and actions to forgive me. As I continue on my spiritual path to awakening I learn more and more about who I am. I realize I must first know who I am before I can help others.

Part of the breakthrough happens when we realize that it is fear that holds us back. For me it is a fear of what others will think about me and the fear that success and fame may change me. As I begin to embrace and accept this I am able to make a very positive shift. I share this with you so that you can continue on your spiritual journey and make the necessary shifts for your spiritual awakening.

  As the time ticked down to zero last night (6/8/13) and The Miami Fury Women’s Tackle Football Team finished their season undefeated one thought came into my mind Celebrate Life! Celebrate the fact that you were part of something special as the pubic address announcer. As I awoke this morning (6/9/13) I looked out the window and saw it was a nice sun shining day in Sunrise, FL again my thought was to celebrate life. As I was thinking about what to write to help those who have had a spiritual awakening and to assist those who are seeking a spiritual awakening message from source was clear to write about celebrating life.

Spiritual Awakening: Finding Good Vibrations!!!

 

 Today’s blog entry was inspired by The Beach Boys song Good Vibrations as I began to explore the fact that we are all energy and we vibrate at different levels however when the resonance is matched we tend to have a positive experience.  Many times it is important to step back and ask am I resonating with this person, are our frequencies in sync, is this interaction serving me in a positive way? If the answer is no then you have two choices change your vibration and make a shift or walk away and come back when the interaction will be more positive. Many time it is as simple as deciding to give off good vibrations. When you give off good vibrations you tend to attract others who give off good vibrations and thus you enhance your personal and professional life.  In many cases you set in motion the type of interaction that you will have simply by the energy that you bring to the situation.

Spiritual Awakening: Finding Your Spiritual Hideaway!!!

Spiritual Awakening: Finding Your Spiritual Hide Away!!!!

Thank you to Dorit G. Pappelbaum- The Connector for inspiring me to write this blog as she posed a question of what is you favorite place to get spiritually connected.

 These are the Banawe Rice Terraces in The Philippines which have become a spiritual destination for many seeking to get away and find their authentic self. While in The U.S. Peace Corps I wanted to venture to them, however I never made it them. I can imagine myself feeling the energy of this magnificent  natural wonder and being totally centered and grounded and using the experience as fuel to propel me further in my spiritual awakening.

 This is the Botanical Garden in La Union, Philippines which I did get to visit. It was a great hideaway day as I journeyed from the town square to the Botanical Gardens walking about 18 KM to the top of the mountain where the botanical gardens were located. Along the way I stopped to speak with people along the route. There was a farmer walking his Caribou and I asked if I could help and he said okay and as a result I overcame a fear of getting near this big animal. In an effort to hideaway I had a breakthrough and realized that by getting centered and grounded and finding a spiritual hideaway that you can connect with your inner being and overcome obstacles that may be holding you back. In stretching myself I enhanced the mind, body, soul connection.  It was in taking action on a decision to go to the botanical garden that I enhanced my spiritual awakening.
