Spiritual Awakening: 2014 The Year Of Transformation!

 

 Today’s blog entry was inspired by Mercy Me’s new song, Shake. The lyric blame it on the transformation really resonated with me as many people have come up to me and told me you changed and my answer is always yes we all evolve over time and if we are not growing we are dying. As I was thinking of a theme for 2014 I came up with 2014 The Year Of Transformation. I began to think of caterpillars and how they transform into butterflies. The transformation occurs as we have a spiritual awakening and like the caterpillar we form a cocoon and begin to form our figurative wings and when we are ready GOD allows us to fly and soar. It is during the transformation that we create an inner beauty that develops into our divinity and allows us to shine our light bright for others to see.  In transforming and embracing our spiritual awakening we begin to create transformative experiences that serve to enhance our personal and professional lives. We learn how to deal with hardships and find the lessons as a result of this spiritual awakening. Through the transformation we begin to see ourselves differently. In many circumstances it when we transform and look at things differently that our lives begin to change. It is when we declare that we will transform and take action to transform that  we improve our lives and the lives of those around us.

I remember a lesson that my mom taught me year’s ago  about the butterfly representing completion. It was with this lesson that I created some transformative exercises to improve my personal and professional life. I give you some of these exercises to help you make 2014 A Year Of Transformation For You.

1: Like the butterfly spreads pollen going flower to flower you can spread your message by sharing it and thus resonating with others and while you are transforming they can transform as well.

Spiritual Awakening: The Spiritual Alphabet!!!!

 Remember in our youth when we first learned the alphabet and we were so excited to sing the alphabet song? Well the same excitement comes over me as part of my spiritual awakening as I learn the spiritual alphabet. Each time I learn a new term or a new modality my inner child awakens and I become like a sponge ready to soak it all in and then apply what I have learnt. In being awakened spiritually one finds themselves taking action and adopting many practices that dig deep into their own divinity and thus unleashes a power that enables them to move forward in the positive direction of their dreams.

Spiritual Awakening: Wide Awake!!!

 Today as I was driving  this song by Katy Perry, Wide Awake, came on the radio and I immediately thought another message from the universe. Since I have had my spiritual awakening I have become more aware of the messages being delivered to me through the universe. It is when we are awake and aware that we begin to find our purpose and answer our calling. I have learned that when you become an action taker and follow the messages that you begin to manifest the life that you want to create for yourself. When one is wide awake they begin to find more success as they understand that the vibration they give off comes back to them. I have so  many examples of following messages and awakening to the messages and taking action that have led to success that I am often intrigued by the amount of people who just do not get it and never answer their calling and go through the majority of their life unhappy.  When one is wide awake they tend to find happiness and have good things happen to them.  In becoming wide awake we must be willing to go deep inside and make the changes necessary to create the life we desire.  In becoming wide awake we begin t look for ways to be of service and value to our community and as a result of this we attract good things into our lives and have good things happen for us. It is in the emotions that we bring to the task that determines the result.

Spiritual Awakening: Being Rewarded For Being Wide Awake!!!

For those who frequent this blog you know my penchant for hanging out at my local Starbucks. Today as I was writing this blog entry a women at the counter was given the wrong drink so I spoke up and said “I get all the mistakes,” the barista handed me a Black Tea Lemonade, which was going to be my next order. By being wide awake and aware I received a FREE Drink. In becoming wide awake and aware you begin to reap rewards. In some cases it is just allowing your positive energy to flow to you and from you.  Today I have my Relay for Life sign and a collection canister set up where I am seated at Starbucks and people are stopping by to ask questions. It is amazing what can transpire when you are wide awake and willing to put yourself out there with good energy.   The key is to awaken to who you are and what your purpose is and then to embrace it and thus enhance your personal and professional life while helping others.  The fact of the matter is that when you are awakened to your calling and you embrace it instead of fighting it you begin to reap rewards.

Spiritual Awakening: Speak Life!!!!

 As we close out 2013 today I thought what could be a good message to give to the readers of this blog and it hit me, Speak Life. The song Speak Life by Toby Mac has become one of my anthems. It has helped me to understand my spiritual awakening and get in touch with the fact that what we say has immense power. As you sit down to make your declarations for 2014 remember the words we use have an incredible power as we filter them through our sub conscious mind. I recommend avoiding using words like try and instead use words like I Will. Instead of using words like I have to change to I get to or I am able to. As you begin to become conscious of the words that you are using you and the affect they are having on your life you will begin to shift your speech and thus by speaking life you will start to manifest the live you want creating the prosperity that is your birth right.

Spiritual Awakening: Words That Speak Life!!!

In the spiritual awakening realm of language we can speak life by using words like peace, love, joy, and prosperity however we must be willing to internalize these words and visualize what they are and thus take action to bring them from our inner space into our outer space. It is when we recognize our divinity and begin to come from a place of gratitude and exude the traits of peace, love, joy, and prosperity that we experience the spiritual growth that will enhance our personal and professional lives.

Spiritual Awakening: I Do Declare!!!!!

 Today’s as I listened to Reach FM, a local Christian Music Station in my community, I heard one of the songs that has played a major role in my spiritual awakening, Britt Nicole’s Ready Of Not. I began to think ready or not 2014 is going to happen. It was at that moment that I declared 2014 as The Year Of Transformation and made the commitment to become more of an action taker and to move forward in the positive direction of my goals and dreams.  I said the words I declare I found an amazing power as I was now speaking something into existence.  It is when we speak the words I declare and then we write the words that we begin to put in motion the flow necessary to manifest our declarations. Once you declare then it is up to you to take action to bring the declaration to fruition.

 By making a declaration and setting our intention with specific time tables to accomplish the goals we show the universe that we are serious about our desire to transform our lives and thus the universe will deliver all that is necessary to make these declarations a reality.  I often tell people when it is insight it is in flight so write down your intentions and the action steps you will take to make them become a reality. When you let your intentions be known and you see them each day you begin to act upon them and as a result you begin to experience success and a feeling of accomplishment that will help you to make the mind, body, soul connection and create the life that you desire.

 In making your declarations and setting your intention ask yourself what is it that is holding you back and how you overcome this challenge or blockage.  I have found that when I declare that I am eating healthier and then set my intention to eat healthier and take action to eat healthier I eat healthier and as a result I feel better and thus accomplish more.

Spiritual Awakening: Giving Brings Joy And Positive Energy!

 As I purchased a gift for my Dad today I began to realize that it is through the giving that you truly receive. I walked into the cigar store and told the clerk what I was looking for and who I was buying the gifts for and he immediately  showed great customer service picking out cigars for my dad and giving me an excellent price. His partner then came in and I was introduced to him and he went into the back and gifted me a small humidor. To thank them I did a shout out to Blitzer Cigars and Lounge on my Facebook page. You can call it a spiritual awakening another step to spiritual enlightenment or karma I call it The Joy in Giving!!!! The Positive Energy that this encounter created really had me thinking as to others ways to create joy. As a result I stopped by my local Starbucks and hung my FREE HUGS sign. It has been interesting as a few have looked at the sign and one person asked me about it.  Part of being awake spiritually is to be in tune with your vibration and how your actions are affecting others.  I set an intention today to spread a message of kindness by doing kind things and as a result I have found that giving creates joy and positive energy!!!!

 A friend of mine, Jason Gilliam-Alexander, of Mentoring Valuable Protégés has banners that say live to give and each time he runs an event he presents the concept of being a lifter and helping others.  In having a spiritual awakening and being on a path to enlightenment you begin to find your purpose and calling thus creating joy and positive energy as you give of yourself and utilize your talents for good. Think about the times you gave willingly and the feeling you had. I know when I come from a point of abundance and gratitude and give freely that I have a sense of joy and create positive energy.  I used to say I have to buy a gift and now I say I get to buy a gift or I say Thank You GOD for putting me in a position to buy a gift. I have adopted an anthem of service to humanity is the best work of life. As a result of shifting my philosophy of giving I have won numerous awards including the Governor’s Point of Light Award and The American Cancer Society Hope Award.  I have come to understand that we do not do the deeds for recognition but instead because of the great feeling of joy and the positive energy they provide. In changing the way you look at things when it comes to giving you come alive and the world shines a little brighter because of your actions.

Spiritual Awakening: It’s Beginning To Feel  Like Christmas!

As I ventured out on Friday (12/13/13) to do my Christmas Shopping I felt another spiritual awakening come over me. It was an awakening that Christmas can be an everyday occurrence as we all have the ability to give a gift. It doesn’t have to be a monetary gift or a material gift it can be a gift of spirit, a kind word, a random act of kindness, a smile, or just letting someone go ahead of you in line.  It is when we adopt the anthem to take action and come from a place of kindness and love that our spiritual channels are open up and thus we receive gifts that enhance our personal and professional life because we took the time to enhance the personal and professional lives of others.

 As I strolled through The Forest of Angels Project at The Promenade at Coconut Creek I experienced another spiritual awakening as I witnessed 22 Christmas Trees decorated by sponsors who designated a charity for their Christmas Tree to represent as this project gives money to the top 3 trees who garner the most votes. To vote on a tree you make a donation of at least $1 and place the number of the Christmas Tree you like on the ballot you receive ( a raffle ticket) you vote and then place your ticket in the chance drawing box of the prize you would like to win. My awakening was that more people are doing good than bad and we need to capitalize on the feeling and spirit of Christmas and make it a daily practice. maybe not with trees or lights or presents but with actions that will show people that they are divine creatures of GOD with a purpose and thus everyday it can feel like Christmas.

Spiritual Awakening: Busting Out OF Black Friday!!!

 Did you fall for the hype of Black Friday or were you like the many that have had a spiritual awakening and busted out of Black Friday? I chose to bust out on Black Friday and take massive action and invest in myself by becoming a Rejuvenetics Distributor, my page is at www.rejuvenetics.net/jdogg1 where people can purchase products that will help them to look good, feel good, so they can do good. I decided that being healthy was more important than the 32″ Plasma TV that was on sale. I decided to bust out and learn about the products and spend my money on me as I know an investment in myself is more important than investments in materialistic things. After all the happiness we seek is found inside ourselves. In committing to being healthy and becoming an action taker we begin to get ourselves balanced, centered, and grounded thus allowing us to summon our inner divinity and creating our own happiness.  In awakening and busting out on Black Friday I have been able to further my calling and create a positive change in my life and in the lives of others. In making a decision to take massive action I have continued to come alive and serve others while enhancing my community. Imagine being able to show people that service to humanity is the best work of life and showing them how to live a healthy life  by educating them with information that traditional doctors don’t tell them.

 In busting out on Black Friday and deciding not to focus on the lack mentality that it promotes I have been able to accomplish many of my daily goals. I was able to get centered and grounded, start my new business venture, write my blog entries, send out media releases and further my journey of spiritual awakening. In being spiritually awake and aware we are able to choose to bust out of Black Friday and appreciate the abundance that we all have. In becoming spiritually awake and a ware we begin to understand that we do not have to do what the masses do we can be our own person and follow the messages from GOD. IN busting out of Black Friday we are able to do more to glorify GOD and thus be rewarded. A new car, or anew TV, or material things will not honor or glorify GOD, however being of service to others will. So in busting out of Black Friday we can all become more in tune with our own divinity while recognizing the divinity in others.

Spiritual Awakening: Celebrating Thanksgiving Daily!!!

 Once one has a spiritual awakening and they begin their path to enlightenment they realize that a great part of becoming an action taker is to assume an attitude of gratitude. In creating a daily ritual of giving thanks one creates a vibration that attract the proper people into their circle of influence thus furthering the spiritual awakening process. In creating a daily anthem of gratitude and using word like thank you the tasks of the day flow easier and your vibrational level increases allowing for healing to occur. Gratitude is like the small stone skipped across the water that creates little ripples that become waves and thus shifts energy into a field of positivity and possibilities.  In answering your calling and being grateful for what you do have you will see a major shift or change in your personal and professional life allowing you to come alive and share your divinity with others thus lighting up the entire universe. Thanksgiving may be one day in the calendar year that brings a community together however imagine if you made Thanksgiving a ritual in your everyday life. I am not talking about eating all the fixings that go with the holiday but just taking time to thank GOD for all that he is providing for you. I have come to understand that many times it is our gratitude that determines our altitude. In dealing with all the emotions that come from celebrating Thanksgiving we come to realize that gratitude can be a great tool to helping in furthering our spiritual path and thus creating feelings that attract all that we need to find peace, love, and happiness in our lives.

 This year is the second year without my mother, Judith Miller, who GOD called home on July 5, 2012. The tradition in our family was always to get together regardless of where we all were at the time. There were trips to Williamsburg, Virginia and gatherings at my mom’s house in Coral Springs, FL.  Mom always went out of her way to make the day special for everyone from her special sweet potato pie for me to the cheese cake for my brothers moms love filled the air. I am grateful everyday for the time GOD gave me with my mother. I take solace in the fact that she is now an angel watching over me and providing positive messages of guidance. Though there are many empty chairs at the table this year I know that all those who GOD called home are looking down on me and guiding me with peace, love, and happiness.  I will celebrate everyday for the things I have and show gratitude for all those who have shaped me and molded me.  The fact of life is that we should celebrate  Thanksgiving daily by showing appreciation for what we have and for what GOD continues to deliver to us and for us.

Spiritual Awakening: Living In The Moment!!!

 

 As I searched deep inside myself today to find the words to share with you that would empower your and inspire to take action the message I received was to live in the moment. In the spirit of living in the moment and being spirituality awake I searched for a song that would fit this entry. I found Beckah Shae’s Here In This Moment. As I listened I began to think how many times do we miss out on happy moments because we are projecting and thinking how things should be. I have learned over time the way things are and the way we think things should be are very different. In having a spiritual awakening you begin to experience life as it is meant to unfold and that there are things you can control and things you can not.

In choosing to live in the moment you detach yourself from past experiences and you also reduce the stress associated with worrying about future events.  In detaching from the past and the future and living in the moment you will find that things tend to flow and you achieve what you set out to do in a peaceful and joyful manner. If you release the could haves, the should haves, and the would haves and live in the moment you begin to find an inner solace in knowing everything is in divine order the way it was meant to be right now.  In deciding to live in the moment and go about each moment with a sense of gratitude you will find that you create the life you desire. In healing and releasing the past you open up the passages necessary to move forward in the positive direction of your dreams. In taking the future out of the equation and living for the now you will see how things flow and you will begin to enjoy the abundance that the universe has to offer. I look at those who I believe to be successful and they all share something in common. They all live in the moment and come from a position of gratitude.
