Spiritual Awakening: 12/14/12 Connecticut Shooting Holds Valuable Lesson!!!!

At least 26 people were killed in a shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary, an official said. The gunman, who is dead, was reportedly the son of a teacher at the school read the first line of a news story today. Then all the comments came in across the social media with the ususal questions what makes someone especially a son do this, how could GOD allow this to happen, what can we do to help, and what is the lesson in this?

We may never know why a son would shhot and kill his Mom. As many of you who read this blog regularly know I recently lost my mom on July 5, 2012 as she was called home by GOD after she suffered a massive heart attack and a day doesn’t go by that I wish I had one more hour just to share. I did manage to find a bit of irony in the photo as The Dunkin Donuts cup says joy and finding joy in the face of this tragedy will be the toughest thing for the community to face.

As I awoke today I began to ponder the meaning of 12/12/12 and realized that it is another power energy day where certain portals will be made available to those who are on a spiritual path to become more enlightened and thus to continue their expansion and their quest for transformation so as to positively impact the world. Tapping into the number of positive energy fields today will help you to become an action taker where your anthem will allow you to have an awakening and to follow your calling. Today can be a great day to affect change in your personal and professional life as you begin to come alive and get involved with your community. Those reoccurring dreams and messages can now be acted upon with the confidence that you will be emotionally ballanced and the outcomes will be favorable. You feelings will be powerful and more easily understood today.One way to create more positive energy today is to engage in fellowship by sharing encouraging words with all those you come in contact with. A smile will go along way in tapping into the positive energy of today. The way you react to the flow today will help in answering the question is today just another day or is a day for awakening?

Spiritual Awakening: Tracgic Events Like Hurricane Sandy Lead To Positive Shift!!!

It has been about 5 weeks since Hurricane Sandy ravaged The Northeastern part of The United States and there are many families who are still digging out and rebuilding what was lost. In the direct aftermath of the storm people were coming out and doing relief efforts and the news media was all over the story. Relief efforts are still underway and yet the news cameras are gone and the general public has seemed to have moved on to other endeavors. A storm in many cases is the catlyst that is needed to bring people together for a positive shift. It is sda that it takes a tragic event to wake people up to the idea that being kind and helping your neighbors is the right thing to do. Many times we have a power to help others and do the right thing long before a storm hits. By being a person of action before, during, and after a storm you can create a positive shift to enhance your life and the lives of those you come in contact with. There are those who will say a storm like Hurricane Sandy was a message from GOD to us all that he is very upset by the way we are living in our country and how we are treating one another.

Spiritual Awakening: Bob Dylan Sparks Change!!!!

Inspired by Bob Dylan’s songs Times They Are Changing and The Answer is Blowing in the Wind while I sat at Starbucks in Plantation, FL I got up took a walk outside and realized just how things are changing and that stepping outside to listen to nature and slow down for a moment how clear the answers come through. I asked a question about affecting change and then I sat down to receive the answer and it came with several messages like write about it, make a change in your life, and then spark others to change. Bob Dylan influenced many to make positive changes and recognized that change is always occurring around us and that the answers are also all around us. When you make a positive change in your life such as eliminating negative people and your own negative thoughts you begin to see things in a better light and then the answers you are seeking become clearer. Sometimes making a change is hard as you feel you are doing the right thing when in reality you are holding yourself back and thus need a spark for change. What or who is sparking a change in you?

Today as I was working in the club room at my clubhouse is Sunrise, FL a worker from our complex cam in and he was wearing a Christmas Hat and jingle bells. I commented how I liked his Christmas Spirit and he replied thanks just doing my part to spread some joy. I thought for a moment and thought he is walking in spirit. I thne began to think how can we all walk in spirit and show the 7 fruits of spirit through our actions and then I thought simply by allowing ourselves a moment to be grateful for what we have and having the ability to share with others. Today answer the question of what am I grateful for and how will help others. You will see that soon you are walking in spirit and your entire outlook will change.

Donna Summer delivers a message that will help you to walk in spirit as you continue to shine your light as you become a beacon of hope to others.

Matisyahu sends a message of givinga gift by shining his light for the victims of Hurricane Sandy as he will be donating the proceeds from the sales of this cd to those affected by Hurricane Sandy.

There I was shopping in my local Publix and I stopped for a moment and I was reading the side of The Arizona Tea Can that I had decided to purchase and I found it the meaning of life as it said RECYCLE. I stopped for a moment and took a deep breath to contemplate this message. Then it hit me the concept of recycling goes far beyond just making something new out of something used it goes to the heart of looking at way you can be a recycler and pay it forward and thus improve the quality of life for someone else and in return be rewarded.

Spiritual Awakening: Zig Ziglar Leaves Legacy of Inspiration

It was abou 10 AM on 11/28/12 when the news came across the wire that Zig Ziglar, The Great Motivator, made his transition at age 86. His lessons will live on for many years as they have been written and recorded and they will resonate as they make sense. Think about the first quote as it shows us that we can be great if we get started. The 2nd quote is so very true as the law of reciprocity is true. The idea of being motivated everyday is importnat as it propels us to success. As I reflected on Zig Ziglar’s teachings I began to think about the idea of being inspired and inspiring others.

On way to inspire others is to do good deeds. By helping others you begin to find yourself as you find a joy in the knowledge that your act of love and kindness enhanced someome’s life. One of the good deeds that I do each year is particpiate and emcee The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of West Boca Raton. It is my hope to inspire people to support this effort and have them visit http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogglederman and make a donation. The good deeds we do will last long after we are gone. I have asked in past entries what will your legacy be? Zig Ziglar’s legacy was one of hope and inspiration.

Self discovery is a great way to find your talents to use to be inspired and to inspire others. If you have a great smile share it and see what happens. It is when you begin to be your authentic self that you are able to enhance your life and then enhance others. Write down I am Great, I make a difference in my life and other’s lives, I give and receive, I shine a light wherever I go and begin to internalize these thoughts and watch your greatness come through.

Everytime I watch Scrooged with Bill Murray and the song Put A Little Love In Your Heart plays at the end my heart fills with joy as I reflect on the importance of showing love and make a positive change in the world by being a loving and caring person. The first step to enlightenment is to love yourself and to recveognizr that you are a divine child of GOD. When you look in the mirror and you start to say I am a loving, caring, compassionate person that shows love and shine my light brightly finding success in all I do you begin the process of putting a little love in your heart. By helping others without expectations of return you put a littled love in your heart. By sharing your successes and teaching others to be successful you put a little love in your heart. One of my favorite songs is Neil Diamonds Turn On Your Heart Light and when you turn on your heart light for the world to see you make the world a better place as you have love in your heart.

As the holiday season approaches it is a great time for introspection and internal and external cleansing. As you create an attitude of gratitude you can create a world that serves you better. The best gift you cna give yourself this holiday season is the gift of self awareness and awakening. Giving yourself the gift of love allows you to take out the trash and end attachments to people or things that no longer serve you. It is somethimes the hardest thing to realize that some people in your life no longer serve you in your quest for personal and professional growth. Many times it is a family member or someone who came into your life as a result of a decission that someone else made and you had no control over the situation at the time. As you got older and wiser and the person who made the decission passed you begin to realize that the only power this person has over you is the power you allow them to have. When you choose to take out the trash and interact on your own terms things improve.

After reading about George Carl and his battle with cancer I began to contemplate the way we use our time outs in life and are we using them effectively. A coach is often criticized for not taking a time out at a crucial part of the game. In this game of life that we are actively participating how many time outs are we missing out on.
