Spiritual  Awakening: Rising Up!!!

 

 Today we mark Good Friday and The 1st Night Of Passover. The coincidence of this is the fact that The Lat Supper was actually a Passover Seder showing us that we are more alike than we are different and that we are all spiritually interconnected. Through the spiritual awakening process we begin to see that we are all divine children of GOD and no one way of thinking is better than the other. In taking action to show reverence to GOD we come together for the betterment of our community. On Passover we  eat Matzah as The Israelites did not have time to let the dough of the bread rise but it also marks a time when The Israelites rose up to take on Pharaoh and escape slavery. Easter marks the great rising of Jesus Christ, The Savior, who became the ultimate lamb to erase and forgive our sins helping those who believe to be redeemed.

 When you feel distracted or like you are going off your spiritual path take a breath and rise up by embracing your inner divinity and then coming from a position of joy so that you can get back on your journey to success. We must look at ourselves as being divine children of GOD with amazing capabilities of being of service and value to others. When we understand the idea of redemption and forgiveness fully we grow personally, professionally, and spiritually. We have been redeemed and GOD will watch over us and protect us just as he did The Israelites on their journey out of Egypt provided that we honor and praise him in all that we do.

 Though The Israelites were freed from physical slavery how many of hold ourselves mentally enslaved due to limiting beliefs and thus create blockages the stop us from creating the life that we desire?  In is when we realize that we can achieve anything we put our mind to by rising up and fending off the negative self talk and moving forward despite what the naysayers have to say. If The Israelites would have bought into the idea that they couldn’t fight Pharaoh they may still be in captivity. Ask what may be holding you captive then rise up and defeat it.

Spiritual Awakening: Spirituality Not A Joke!!!

 As I turned the calendar and saw a new month I thought new month new beginnings. I then saw it was April 1, April Fools Day, and thought how many people are just joking with their spirituality and professing to believe in something but doing the opposite. This is what inspired me today to write about the the concept that spirituality is not a joke. Spirituality is not something you can turn on or off and use only when it suits your needs. So many people profess to have have a spiritual awakening and then do things that totally go against the idea of being loving and caring and peaceful. I  have been guilty of having lapses in spirituality and have allowed my human side to get in the way and hinder me. These blockages have created some challenging circumstances as I have found myself vibrating at low levels filled with anger and many other low level emotions. It is during these times that I begin to realize just how powerful the universe is and how spirituality is now joke. It is at these times that I step back and get myself reconnected to GOD and realize that I am a divine child of GOD and it is his plan not mine that must be followed. I have  come to realize that peace, love, joy, and prosperity happen when you come from a place of peace and joy.  I have come to understand that being quick to react is not the way to overcome blockages and challenges that one must get themselves back to center and before taking any action take some deep spiritual breaths so that we can move forward on our spiritual path. I have  come to understand that is foolish and the joke will be on you when you are not in alignment with GOD, The Ascended Masters, and your angels.

Many times during the spiritual awakening process  we will have trials and tribulations so we must remember if GOD brought us to it GOD will bring us through it.  We must make a divine connection and realize that what we perceive as mistakes are lessons to learn from so that we can grow personally, professionally, and spiritually. We must come to understand that in order to manifest the life we desire that we must be connected to GOD and guided by GOD and when challenges arise look at them from our spiritual perspective and come at them with love and joy in our heart. The challenge of doing things always in a loving and caring manner is tough because many people we come in contact with will not get us or resonate with us and thus may create blockages because we get caught up in their drama instead of detaching ourselves from the situation and allowing GOD and The Universal Powers to guide us.  I have found that when I am presented with a tough situation that I do my best to understand the other person and show compassion but sometimes my human side just wants to slug someone. When this occurs I must remember that violence and anger only lessen my vibration and decreases my ability to be of service and value to others so I retreat to my comfort place which is any quiet place in nature where I can sit in silence and reflect and relax and rejuvenate so that I can improve  and not be foolish in my actions.

Spiritual Awakening: Divine Connections!!!

 After dropping off $32 at The American Cancer Society Office for The American Cancer Society Relay For Life Of West Boca Raton bringing my total funds raised to $2345 I stopped off at my local Starbucks as they are a national corporate partner for Relay For Life and also because today was 1/2 priced frappuccino day. As sat enjoying my birthday cake frappuccino a young woman sat down and we began to speak and it turns out she was a life coach, an author and a speaker who knew the same people I knew and we had a great conversation. Can you say divinely guided? I have learned by being an action taker through out the spiritual awakening one attracts the people GOD sends to you to help you move further along your spiritual path. These divine connections lead to personal, professional, and spiritual growth.  It is when you have the chance to interact with people that you are able to build upon these divine connections by being of service and value to others. As I continued to speak to Fayola she said we have to collaborate on something and I mentioned my Five Keys To Success Presentation and she was excited. She had to leave for another meeting she had but she said she would be in touch. She also said she would call about being on my TV Show, The Anything Bucket, which airs on www.wrpbitv.com on Tuesday at 6:30 PM EDT.  It is amazing what GOD puts on our path.

 This past Saturday (3/28/2015) I was emceeing The Parkland Bark For Life and was soliciting donations by offering tennis balls for the dogs for a $1 donation from the owner.  As I was doing this a young lady, Sabrina, from Maxim Boutique came up and gave me a donation and we got to talking and I offered to do a quick promo video for the store. As I was in the  the store to do the promotional video I told Sabrina about my ability to match outfits and she gave me a challenge to help her customer in finding a matching top for a pair of pants she bought. I said okay and I found a top and brought it to the customer. The customer tried it on and liked it and bought it. Sabrina said I have to put you on our payroll. I laughed and then did the promotional video that is now on their Facebook Page. This was definitely a divine connection where GOD, The Ascended Masters, and my angels guided me to use my many talents to help. There are messages all along our path and it is up to us to be open to receive so that we can enhance the lives of others while also improving our lives.

Spiritual Awakening: Fishing In The Right Pond!!!

As we begin to fish for spiritual answers and enlightenment we must make sure we are fishing in the correct pond. Is our pond filled with people who are evolving and growing or those who are stagnant? Is our pond filled with action takers or excuse makers? If we are truly going to feed our spirituality and grow personally and professionally it is imperative to find the pond that is well stocked to feed our desire to create a oneness consciousness that will create a mind, body, and soul connection that will allow us to live the life we desire. When looking at the pond we are fishing in we must ask am I the biggest fish? If you are the biggest fish it is time to migrate to a pond where there are bigger fish.  Is the pond we are fishing in providing what we seek? If not it is time to change ponds. You can not catch tuna in a KOI pond.  As you begin to awaken more and more and become more self aware you will be able to determine what ponds you should be fishing in.

 What mindset do those in your pond have? Are they grateful for what they have or are they complaining about what they do not have?  Ate the people in your pond complaining about how tough things are or are they facing the challenges and thriving?  Are the people you are  fishing with showing happiness or anger?  The key is to make sure your pond is infused with positivity that promotes peace, love, joy, and prosperity.  Look at the pond you are fishing in and determine if that pond is serving you. If it is not serving you then change ponds.

 When searching for the right pond to fish in make sure it is filled with people who have the attitude of gratitude.

Spiritual Awakening: Call The Police!!!

 Sometimes we need a wake up call to remind us that it is necessary to just let things go because GOD has a better plan or solution in store for us. Today (3/16/15) was such the case as I wa sin a pretty bad way after having an up and down weekend as games were cancelled that i was supposed to announce which would have given $200 that would have improved my financial position. With the games being cancelled it did free me up to help with some fundraising for The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of West Boca Raton, which was great and I am now at $2204.61 raised. Donations can be made at http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogg2.  I should have  been very happy but the human worry about cash flow was weighing heavy on my mind and heart as I haven’t had steady employment for over 2 1/2 years and today I started questioning if all I was doing was worth it as many of my activities were not income producing. Then when I got to Walmart and The ATM didn’t work and the lady at customer service was a bit snippity and a customer  started giving me a tough time I allowed the ugliness of anger to creep in and was shoved which led me to calling the police. After sitting and waiting for the police and realizing where I was wrong and how I was off and my spiritual side was overtaken by my human side I sat and thought is it really worth it to getting angry. After the police came and I settled myself down I apologized to the Walmart lady and the gentleman I got angry with and left Walmart. I sat in my car in quiet reflection and realized that all the anger in the world wasn’t going to manifest the $200 I would have made and that GOD will provide as he always does and not to be so filled with anger.  I hope you don’t have to get the wake up call like I did today but that you can step back and realize everything happens for a reason. I began to realize that this pent up anger has led to many set backs and is one of the areas that I must continue to work on.  So from today forward when I feel angry I will do my best to take a deep breathe and realize that nothing god can come from being angry and that it only creates blockages for me and thus stops me from enhancing my personal and professionally and stunts my spiritual growth.

From no on I must realize that being a spiritual person in a material world can create frustration only if I allow myself to get caught up in rigors  of the material world. I must understand that there is always a solution and that GOD is powerful beyond materials and that he will provide a better way. In learning that all obstacles that are placed in front of me can be overcome with some inner spiritual work. I must remember the teachings to be grateful for what I have have and not look at what I do not have. I must learn that I can not compare myself to others for we are all divine children of GOD who are unique in our own right. I must continue to understand that each time I get angry it only tales away from all the good I have done for others. When I get angry I must call upon my spiritual police, GOD, Jesus, My Angels, and The Ascended Masters so that I remember  that I must use my talent for good and remember the fruits of spirit and the other spiritual teachings so that I am seen as whole and complete.

Running Numbers Have you ever noticed the importance numbers play in our life? I have come to understand the reasons why I have chosen certain numbers in my life and after seeking their meanings have become more aware of the importance of these choices in the spiritual awakening process.

Spiritual Awakening: Where Does Your Road Lead?

Most of the roads I travel take me back to GOD’s door and when I knock it is always answered it is answered with much love ad GOD loves us all and wants to show us love so we can show others love and put then on a path to personal and spiritual growth so that we can share our journey with others and have them share in our peace, love, joy, and prosperity. As we travel our road we can create a oneness consciousness as long as our actions on these roads lead us to praise and honor GOD. In honoring GOD through prayer and praise we widen the road and enhance the path to GOD and thus secure a place in his kingdom that helps us to grow in mind, body, and spirit and thus enables us to be of service and value to others. Sometime we must take it slow and ease on down the road and remove our burdens  so that GOD can carry us through his messages that he is constantly giving to us. Sometimes GOD’s messages come in the form of traffic jams, detours, and closed road giving us an opportunity to learn patience, or choose a new and better path, or simply shutting the things out of our life that no longer serve us. In staying on the road that lead’s to GOD’S House we are given the tools and opportunities to grow and prosper.

In easing down the road and stopping to rest we often find that the answers we were seeking were not in the outside world but were inside of us all the time. In easing down the road and heeding GOD’S messages we get in touch with ur inner divinity and thus can share our divinity with others and bring them along on our journey so that not only is our life improved but the lives of others are improved. In taking a time out to ease on down the road while being centered and balanced we open up many channels to receive the messages that are intended to help us create a joyous and prosperous life.  There will be trials and tribulations as we ease on down the road but those meant to be of positive assistance will be sent to us and thus everything will be greater as we are guided by GOD’S Love as we ease on down the road. In easing on down our road we must understand that all we seek and all we desire has already been provided for us it is duty to claim that which serves us and eliminate that which does not serve us.

 GOD has provided us with the tools we need to create a positive life for ourselves. It is up to us to open the door that we find when we ease on down the road. All we need is inside of us and it has been there from the beginning of time. We must not look at what we do not have and what others have but what we must look at is all that GOD has given us and how we are going to use GOD’S Gifts to lead us and thus make our world and the world around us a better place. Our lives are like a highway with many exits and many times we must take a different exit so that we can find out who we truly are. Sometimes we must change our plans and just let things flow knowing that with GOD as our co-pilot everything will work out.  I begin my daily journey by saying thank you and reciting that all things are possible through Christ who strengthens me. As I do this most of my days are joyful and prosperous.  There have been some accidents along my highway but each one contatined an important lesson and each lesson learned has helped me to grow in spirit and understand that I have a purpose to help other people excel and that when people are ready to join me on my road they will and then I will be able to drive my highway all night long.

Spiritual Awakening:Daylight Saving Time Loss Or  Gain?

The Spring Ahead Daylight Savings Time Clip Art.As we spring ahead some will say we lose an hour while others will say we gain daylight. The question is what is your perception?  As part of the spiritual awakening process I see it as  an enhanced opportunity to grow in spirit and strengthen our connection to nature. In getting home at 6 PM and having it still be light out I am able to spend time in the light and reflect in my sacred space. I have also found that when it is lighter out longer I vibrate at a higher level of joy and thus radiate more joy and happiness and as a result find myself  having  greater success in March – October than in October -March. There is something very spiritual about getting up and watching the sunrise and then being able to stay outside and witness the sunset. In each case we can show gratitude to GOD for giving us a day to be glad and rejoice in the realm of possibilities that are presented to us. I look at Daylight Saving Time as a great chance to spend more time out in nature and to achieve greater things in the community. Though many will see the springing forward as a loss of time I see it actually as an opportunity to become more connected to your divinity as you have a little more daylight to enjoy.

The idea of more sunlight gives me more time to spend in my sacred space so as to create a oneness consciousness while I enhance the mind, body, soul connection. I find the extra daylight allows me to relax more as I don’t like to drive in the dark so the release of stress enables me to be more productive  as I look forward to getting home and spending time outside  in reflection. I find myself more relaxed during Daylight Saving Time so I would have to say it is a gain for me.  In the light I can achieve the greater things that need to be done and have a better sense of purpose as more is being accomplished.

 As time passes it is up to us to do what we can with the time that we have. I find that when you can sit in silence at the sunrise and do a gratitude  exercise  you can set in motion positive events that will propel you to have success in your personal, professional, and spiritual life. When we embrace these time passages we can reflect so we can move forward in a positive direction of our goals and dreams. With a little extra daylight we can finish projects that we were putting off because we used the darkness as an excuse now that excuse has been eliminated so we now have the light to help us bring some projects to fruition.

Spiritual Awakening: Making Changes!!!

 

 I had today (3/7/2015) all planned out and then all my well laid plans went astray. I went to the barber shop and my barber was not there, he’ll be back at 10 AM tomorrow. I went to the movie theater and it was closed for renovations. It was at that moment that I noticed a car show going on and I was wearing a Relay For Life Shirt and had a collection canister in the car. I took a deep breath as I have learned through the spiritual awakening process and asked GOD what I should do. The answer was change plans and solicit donations for The Relay for Life. I did just that. After collecting donations I asked GOD what next? The answer was to go to Starbucks and work on follow up for Relay For Life. I now sit at the Starbucks working on this blog entry with one of my Tokens of Appreciation from www.tofa.us to give out. I have a n idea of who will get today’s but as today showed me don’t be to dependent on your plans as they will change. I have learned long my spiritual path that GOD has the master plan and he will direct you. Sometimes one has to detach from the plans you made and allow GOD to direct you to take the action he seeks you to take. many times as we experience our spiritual awakening we need to simply let go and let GOD. In making plans one has to also agree to be flexible if those plans go astray. In consulting with GOD, Jesus, our angels, and the ascended masters we will receive the messages to direct our actions that create the vibrations that lead to our lives being filled with peace, love, joy, and prosperity. many times our plans do not fit into our calling for the day and GOD sets things in motion for us that are more aligned with our calling and our life’s purpose. In accepting the fact that we must adapt and change according to what GOD has in store we create a greater oneness consciousness that allows us to come alive and help our community while also helping ourselves.

 Many times GOD makes changes to our plans to show us a better way. When we trust in GOD everything works out and many times they work out for the better.  When we detach from the plans and we understand that GOD has better things in store for us we begin to attract more positive experiences in our personal and professional lives. When we seek GOD’s direction and remove our emotions from the equation we are able to move forward in  the positive direction of our dreams. The fact remains that GOD will show the way you must be willing to follow the path he has set out and not get so set on your plans that you allow disappointment and the negative energy sucking emotions like anger creep into to your life as they lessen the vibrational levels that bring peace, love, joy, and prosperity into your life.

Life is often like a poker game. The best hand when playing poker is a royal flush while in our spiritual poker game  the best hand we can have is self actualization. The first rule in our spiritual poker game is to come  straight from the heart.The next rule of the spiritual poker game is that we do not use money but we use spiritually related items to place our bets like a complimentary card reading. The third rule in our spiritual poker game is that you can not fold. The fourth rule is that there will be 2 passes made, the cards dealt, first round of betting, exchange of cards then a second round of betting and then everyone shares their hand and the winner then gets the pot. In between hands players will be encouraged to write down their thoughts in a personal journal and to share their feelings about the hand so as to clear their thoughts to play the next hand.  The idea of host a spiritual poker game is to bring people together to fellowship while also expanding their spiritual growth. In spiritual growth it is not about winning it is about enlightenment. The key will be to shuffle up and deal and grow in spirituality.
