Spiritual Awakening: Get The Fatigue Out!!!

Spiritual Awakening: Get The Fatigue Out!!!

The last couple of weeks have found me more fatigued as my human existence was interfering with my spiritual existence. The worries of life seemed to be weighing heavily on my mind and my motivation was waning as I began to allow the negative self talk and worry to consume my thoughts so there were a few days that I didn’t even get out of bed. I then realized that if I am to move in a positive direction toward my goals and dream I have to get the fatigue out. It was when I sat in reflection last night that I realized that the only way to overcome any worry and fear that is holding me back is to get the fatigue out. In making a commitment to make everyday count I got up this morning and went to The American Cancer Society Office to turn in money for The Relay For Life. I am now at $1076 raised toward a goal of $2500. I realized that if I am to exceed this goal I must take more action and get the fatigue out. As a result I have been sharing the donation page http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogg18 and asking people for donations and have met with success because I got the fatigue out. I have come to use the following poem as an anthem to help me get the fatigue out.

As I took time to rest and reflect I found myself rejuvenated with a sense of purpose where I was helping myself to overcome my own humanistic worries while also help other people to enhance their personal, professional, and spiritual life. It was when I shifted from a sense of worry to a sense of hop and purpose that I was able to get the fatigue out and be energized. It was when I sat down ad wrote in my gratitude journal and read passages from Rev. Dr. Dee Addio Mosses Book, heal Your Life With Meditation And Prayer and then read passages from The Miracle Minute by Mary Morrisey that I was able to get back on track with my mission to help other people excel by being of service and value to all those I come in contact with.

Spiritual Awakening: Times They Are A Changing!

As you experience a spiritual awakening you will start to experience changes in your perspective that allows you to vibrate at a higher level thus positively impacting your personal, professional, and spiritual awakening. When you awake in the morning with the attitude that you can be a world changer and then you take action you will see that you can become a world changer. It is said that one snowflake has little impact but get a bunch of them together and watch what happens.  Everyday things are changing at a rapid pace and may believe that these are the end days. If they are the end day my suggestion is to become as righteous in the ways you carry yourself by being impeccable with your world, not taking anything personally, not making any judgments, and always doing your best. The times are definitely changing and as a spiritual being it is your responsibility to change with the times and to be driven by your inner divinity. As the times change remember it is not about being right or wrong it is about doing the right thing. As you become more and more aware and awake you will begin to attract abundance into your life that allows you to live a life filled with much peace, love, joy, and prosperity. It is when you begin to adapt and overcome by not compromising your spirituality that you will enhance your personal, professional, and spiritual life.
As the times are changing we must come together as spiritual beings and stand up to injustice. It is when we show others that the brotherhood of man transcends the sovereignty of nations that we can look beyond political ideologies and start to come together as one. It is when we realize that we are all divine children of GOD with a purpose to be of service and value to one another that we make improvements in our world. It is when we begin to dialogue with one another without judging that we can come to peaceful resolutions that make our communities stronger. Everyday make it a point to go out and meet someone who you do not know and see how you can be of service and value to that person. In some cases people may not be to receptive as interaction with a perceived stranger can be scary and many people are programmed to become defensive. The key is to remember that it is not your job to bring them kicking and screaming onto a path of change but to shine your light so that when they are ready they will follow you as a beacon of hope and healing. I have always believed that some will, some won’t, so what, some waiting, next. Some people will not see the positive messenger that you are because they are still wrapped in their ego thinking that they know it all when in reality we can all learn from someone.

Spiritual Awakening: A Funk Soul Brother!!!

As I reviewed my Facebook feed I saw a comment that read wishing you peace and light soul brother Jonathan. It was at that moment that I remembered this song by Fatboy Slim titled Funk Soul Brother. I began to think about what it means to be a Funk Soul Brother it means living in peace and sharing peace, love, joy, and prosperity. It mean being loving and caring in all you do. Being a Funk Soul Brother means standing up to injustice by using peaceful means and serving as an example to others that service to humanity is the best work of life. It means not allowing negativity to permeate your daily life. Being a Funk Soul Brother means walking in your truth by taking action that allows you to shine your light and illuminate the world.

There will be times when being a Funk Soul Brother has its challenges as your human side will want to override your spiritual side. It is at times like this that you must turn inward and be guided by your inner divinity so that you can live by the principles that have lead you to be a beacon of hope and healing for others. It is knowing that you can overcome any adversity that comes your way for if GOD brought you to it GOD will bring you through it.  It is when we begin to understand that we are all divine children of GOD and GOD has great plans for us that we can step into our power and become Funk Soul Brothers and Sisters.  It is when we stand in our truth that we can overcome any obstacle that comes our way.

Spiritual Awakening: Making The Switch!!!

  As I begin to become more and more aware and awake through the spiritual awakening process I realize how important it is to take action and make the switch. This was very evident when on 8/19/2016 I decided to switch mobile phone carriers from Verizon to T-Mobile. I am currently in the process of finalizing this process and I have gained some excellent spiritual lessons. One lesson was that one must be patient and when things are not going well or as planned to step back take a breath and know that everything will work out. I have also learned that the attitude you bring to the process determines the outcome.  In taking action and consulting the ascended masters making a switch and taking action was made that much easier. In the past I would have made every excuse not to switch and not to take action as I was coming from a position of lack. With this switch I came from a position of abundance and realized that this change would be a great benefit to me.  How many times have you been hesitant to make a switch and didn’t take action leaving you to ask what might have been or what could have been.  as I continue to work with my new phone I realize that change is good. It is through the awakening process that you will be able to make switching things up easier so that you continue to evolve in your personal, professional, and spiritual life.

Through the switching of carriers I have learned that you must be willing to detach and let go and allow GOD to direct you. In letting go and letting GOD you create the ability to be open to change by receiving and acting upon the messages from GOD, The Ascended Masters,  and The Angels.  It is being accepting of change that you remove blockages that may be holding you back from becoming the best person you can become. In accepting change and not being attached to outcome you will be able to expand mentally, physically, and spiritually. In making changes you will begin to attract peace, love, joy, and prosperity into your life.

Spiritual Awakening: Stop Talking and Start Doing!!!

As you move forward and awaken spiritually there comes a time to stop the talking and take action. In taking action you leave all doubts and fear aside and you are able to move in a positive direction toward your dreams.  When you stop talking and start doing you break down the barriers and clear the blockages that are stopping you from achieving the greatness that you are destined for in this life. So many time we end up making excuses and not taking action  because we listen to our own negative self talk and the naysayers. Now is the time to tell that negative inner voice to shut up and start to erase all thoughts that are holding you back from manifesting the life you desire.  Remember that your words have power so be very conscious of the words you are using and the effects they are having on your life. One way to stop talking and start doing is to speak life.
When you begin to take notice of what you are saying you will begin to see why things are unfolding the way they are in your life.  I hear  many people say I am trying and I refer to YODA from Star Wars saying there is no try you either do or you don’t.  As you continue down your spiritual path take notice of the words you are saying and how they are impacting your life. I recommend that you change your thoughts and your words that are holding you back and making you feel stuck so that you can become unstoppable. Many times when you speak life and you stop talking and you start doing you will find fantastic things happening in your life. You have a power to change your life and the lives of others as you are a divine child of GOD who is being called on to stop talking and start doing.

When you experience a spiritual awakening the first thing you come to understand is that you are a powerful being capable of extraordinary things. The key is to take your words and put them into action. Together we can create a power source that will illuminate the world. We need to stop talking and start doing. It is when you tap into your divine power that you are able to put in motion all things that will assist you in creating a life that you desire.  It is when you stop talking and start doing that you become powerful beyond what you ever imagined.It is when you unleash your power for the world to see that you begin to illuminate the world thus showing people that the brotherhood of man transcends the sovereignty of nations and that service to humanity is the best work of life. Stop listening to all the noise that is holding you back and start doing and you will see that your life will be filled with peace, love, joy, and prosperity.  The key is to take action and have no regrets.

At the end of the day when it is all said and done it is important to have no regrets knowing you took action and followed your heart.  When you stop talking and start doing  you see that you have no regrets as you conceived things in you mind, believed them in your heart, and achieved them. As I reflect back on some of the things that I took action on I can say I am glad I did the things I did as when it is all said and done I can say I made a positive impact on people’s lives. It is when you decide to move right along and take action that you can look back and have no regrets.

It is when we keep moving right along surrounded by those who lift us up that we can stop talking and start doing. It is when we decide to move right along regardless of obstacles and wrong turns that we set in motion everything needed to create a life filled with bliss and abundance. There will be times when you want to stop and there may be times you want to quit. Do not give in and keep on moving right along.

 

 Do not allow negative thoughts or negative people to stop you from taking action to move forward in a positive direction of your dreams. Remember there are those that take action and those who make excuses which type of person will be?

Spiritual Awakening: Rise Up!!!

 Through the spiritual awakening process you will encounter much good and much evil as it is all part of the universal balancing act that occurs each day. What you focus on will expand thus I recommend that you rise up and promote peace, love, joy, and prosperity. Today I smiled at a group of people as I walked into Starbucks and they asked why I was smiling and I told them about a philosophy I heard from Les Brown, where he stated I woke up without a white chalk line around my body so I knew it was going to be a day. As I the group asked me about the fliers I had, which were for Sinbad Sports, a store I work for in Davie, FL. the took the fliers and we continued our dialogue and at the end wished each other a good day and said GOD Bless You. As I continued to interact with people I made it a point to say GOD Bless You. I have come to understand that part of rising up in spirit starts with the foundation in a belief that faith in GOD gives meaning and purpose to human life. In making a commitment to rise up and tale action you will set in motion events that at times seem challenging however understanding that if GOD brought you to it GOD will bring you through it will allow you to enhance your personal, professional, and spiritual life while being of service and value to others. Rising up and standing for a cause can be done without anger as love conquers all and when you are loving and caring in all you do you create a vibration which vibrates at a high frequency that positivism radiates from you to others. In radiating positivism you will create positive shift in your life and in the lives of others.

Spiritual Awakening: Tools To Help You Rise Up!!!

In becoming cheerful giver you will see that you will receive great rewards and find that this is a great tool to moving forward in a positive direction of your dreams.
Music is an excellent tool to remind us just how powerful we can be as it assists us in tapping into our inner divinity so that our rising up will empower and inspire others to rise up.

Spiritual Awakening: Changing The Lock!!!

As I completed a meeting  earlier today (6/29/2016) I had what could be considered another spiritual awakening as I realized that sometime you have to give something up to gain so much more. I was very attached to collecting donations at a special event as was told that the organizers  didn’t want me to do this but that I could collect at other events that they sponsored. I had this big mental lock as I couldn’t understand why the city would say no to this but after a great discussion I changed that mental lock from resistance to acceptance and began to see the big picture.  At the same time I was told that HOOTERS and Twin Peaks could not be endorsed by the 501-c-3 organization that  I was working but that I could do an independent fundraiser as long as I didn’t promote it as this organizations event.  I again was upset as I believe in engaging all those that want to help. I again changed a lock and opened up to where the organization was coming from and decided to simply go with the flow and follow their protocols. I will still be doing a fundraiser with Hooters in October and will  be donating the money to the organization. I learned that sometimes you just have to do things the way others in perceived power want you to  and follow their protocols.

It is when we change our mindset and stop thinking that our way is the best way that we can change our mental locks and grow personally, professionally, and spiritually. I have come to learn through all the spiritual awakenings that we must change our attitudes and latitudes so as to gain a better perspective on how we can live a life of purpose. In many cases you must be willing to change and accept that which you can not change and do the best you can with the tools you have. In changing the locks you remove blockages that may hold you back from becoming a powerful being capable of doing amazing things. Over the years I have come to understand that the way things are and they way things should be are 2 different things. In understanding this I continue to change the mental locks and change the way I do  things.  As I continue to expand my understanding and detaching from outcomes I continue to rise to a new level of spiritual and personal development.

Spiritual Awakening:The Spiritual Highway!!!

Spiritual Awakening:The Spiritual Highway!!!

 

When you decide to take action after your spiritual awakening you will see that you will embark on a journey that will have you driving on  a spiritual highway. Along the high way there will be many exits to get off and many on ramps to get you back on the highway. Each and every exit and on ramp will bring you opportunities to gain knowledge and understanding of your spiritual purpose while here on Earth having a human experience. When you decide to take an exit make sure you stop and truly receive the message that took you off the main highway. As you get off the main highway and you begin to explore the area where you exited keep in mind what question you were seeking an answer to and the answer will be revealed. Your exit from the highway may be short or long depending on how long it takes you to gain understanding and to take action on the answer that you received. Each time we get onto the spiritual highway we are better prepared to navigate the road that lies ahead. ON our trip on the spiritual highway there will be obstacles that slow us down or even prevent us from moving forward in our quest toward making a mind, body, soul connection. When these obstacles enter into our human life we must understand that they are signs from GOD being delivered to us so that we can create the life we desire with GOD’S guidance.

When we get off the highway we will begin to explore and have  decisions to make and many times we must take the road less traveled by as going against the norm makes a world of difference. In taking the road less traveled by we  find ourselves back on the spiritual highway more enlightened and better prepared to answer our calling. Along the spiritual highway we will have opportunities to come alive by being of service and value to the communities that lie along the highway simply by detaching from our desired outcome and simply flowing with the messages that are being delivered form GOD. I remember a time I was in The Philippines serving as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer and the road took me a path that would take me to The Botanical Gardens in San Fernando. Along my path I would encounter many people who found it odd that I would be walking the 5 KM (3.1 miles) to the botanical gardens. Each person I came in contact with gave me a valuable lesson as I walked what became a very spiritual walk filled with much peace and further understanding as to why I became a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer. When I arrive at the top of what I could only describe as a mountain I was parched and my legs were weary. I came across what I would call a concessions stand and I was able to purchase water and continue on my exploration of the botanical gardens. I would take many photos unfortunately as I went to The ATM machine later in the day I forgot my camera and when I went back it was gone so I only have the memories of the vivid sites and the tranquil moments of the botanical gardens and the lessons that came to me that day through the messages from GOD, The Ascended Masters, and my angels. As I sat in reflection that night I realized that along the spiritual highway we will find lessons that help us to evolve personally, professionally, and spiritually.

It was at that moment that I knew my calling was far bigger than I had originally thought and that my mission is to shine GOD’S Light that is inside of me to help plant the seeds of hope and healing. As I completed my sixth month of Peace Corps Service and came home I realized what I received was far greater than anything I could ever give. I realized that this exit off the spiritual highway carried many lessons where I strengthened my belief that the brotherhood of man transcends the sovereignty of nations and that service to humanity is the best work of life. As I arrived home I began to think how can I apply what I learned in The Philippines to make my community a better place.  It is now 13 years that I have been back in The United States and I have been on and off the spiritual highway and each exit has brought me lessons of attracting peace, love, joy, and prosperity into my life. Each stop along the way has provided insight into why I am here and what my purpose is while here on Earth. I have learned that it is my mission to help others by being my authentic self and striving to be my best self as directed by GOD.

Spiritual Awakening: Grooving On A Sunday Afternoon!!!

As I sat down at Starbucks to write this entry I took a quick look around and it was amazing to see all the people simply grooving on a Sunday Afternoon. There was a group playing Rummy O, a guy working on editing his photography, people reading, and others simply enjoying life.  As I absorbed all this great positive energy I began to think how important it is to be spiritually awake and in tube with your inner divinity so as to attract much peace, joy, love, and prosperity into your life. I began to realize that if you want to manifest happiness and abundance into your life you must exude happiness and come from a place of abundance. So many times we get caught up in the things we can not control that we forget to take charge of what we can control and thus we create blockages that get in the way of grooving not only on a Sunday afternoon but everyday. Now the question is how are we going to awaken spiritually and take control of our lives and let GOD be our guide. The answer is to first embrace the fact that you are a divine child of GOD destined for greatness. After that it is important to make a commitment to yourself to take care of yourself so that you can be of service and value to others. Then after you begin to be of service and value start to release that which no longer serves you. As you continue to follow your path guided by GOD  you will see that when you are connected to GOD you will see great things unfold so make it a priority to praise and honor GOD daily so that you can grove everyday and reach your higher calling.

Spiritual Awakening: Tools To Help You Groove Everyday!!!

I have found that The Serenity Prayer, Positive Affirmations, and The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz  to be excellent tools in assuming an attitude that will allow me to be open to grooving daily.

I have learned that music can be a great way to get into the groove and to vibrate on a higher level that attracts people  to you so that you can manifest the life that you desire.

 

Over the years I have discovered that books such as these and others available by following the Hay House Link on this page are excellent tools to help you get into the groove.

Kindness is a trait that when put into action serves as great tool to groove daily.

 Giving praise and glory to GOD is a fantastic tool to help keep you centered, focused, and grounded so that you can groove everyday and live life to the fullest.

 

 Essential oils and incense are excellent tools to use while clearing your mind so as to groove daily.

Meditation has served as an exceptional tool in releasing that which may be stopping you from grooving daily.

Take a moment to walk in nature and create a sacred space where you can go to communicate with GOD, The Ascended Masters, and The Angels so as to receive the guidance that will allow you to grow personally, professionally, and spiritually as you continue to make the mind, body, and soul connection.

Find spiritual places like The Rice Terraces in the Philippines and take a trip without all the accouterments that we have grown accustom to and simply take in the messages as you get connected to source. Sometimes the greatest tool we have is our ability to detach and disconnect from the human life that we have come to know and get in touch with our divinity.

 

When I find it difficult to get into a groove or I find myself stuck I use the tool of reflection to remind me just how good my life has been and I remember times that brought great joy and a sense of accomplishment into my life like the 6 months from July 2002 – February 2003 when I was a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in Buang La Union, Philippines. I look at the photo of the church and the arch and I realize how many lives I touched and how the people in this community changed my life and it gets me into a positive frame of mind knowing that I am capable of great things and if I can not do great things to do small things with great love. It is said that photographs and memories are great tools to help you get into the groove.

Spiritual Awakening: Disappointment Turns To Enlightenment!!!

As the regular readers of this blog know I am very dedicated to helping those touched by cancer through my involvement with Relay For Life. Over the years I have emceed many Relays. This year as The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Boca Raton approached I reached out to The People Lead about being the emcee and was told they had that covered. The day of The Relay arrived and I went to Relay and when asked about doing  announcements was told only the staff partner and The People Lead would be making announcements. I was a bit surprised as well as disappointed as I have been the voice of this Relay for the previous 12 years. I understand that people want to change it up and you want to give  other people a chance, however when you have one of the best at their craft who is passionate about the cause and has raised the kind of money I have raised you find a way to include me. I was very angry and I expressed this to the people lead who was so caught up in her title and having power she didn’t even engage with me. Her answer was people don’t want all that talking they just want to enjoy the event.  After my initial anger and disappointment subsided I had the opportunity to sit quietly and reflect and then I realized that not everyone will appreciate your talents and there will be those that are intimidated because while many talk I do.  I then thought that it doesn’t matter if I emcee or not that I am there to honor my mom, Judith Miller, who was called home to GOD on July 5, 2012 after suffering a massive heart attack while battling non-operable metastatic lung cancer and even though I know I could have  engaged the audience and brought excitement to the event emceeing or even making announcements was not what GOD had in mind for me to do that night.

As I walked the Luminaria lap I had an aha moment which put things into perspective. I received a message from source, I believe it was from my mother telling me that sometimes working quietly behind the scenes serves the great purpose. I am working on releasing my disappointment of not being the emcee as well as not being asked to be part of the committee. This could also be a Message from GOD that he has something much bigger in store for me. The enlightening moment occurred earlier today when I realized that at the end of the day all that matters is  that I was impeccable with my word, didn’t take anything personally, didn’t judge, and always did my best. I also realized that as long as I go where I am honored and respected and not just tolerated that everything will be okay.  I also have come to understand that not everyone will understand my level of commitment and my ways of doing anything. I also learned that instead of dwelling on the disappointment look at the good that came from me not being the emcee like being able to do an oracle card reading and put someone at ease and collect $20 for the cause for doing this, to be able to man a booth and receive donations for The SUJA Juice I had donated, and to have the ability to see Relay For Life from a different perspective.
