Spiritual Awakening: Stop Talking and Start Doing!!!
As you move forward and awaken spiritually there comes a time to stop the talking and take action. In taking action you leave all doubts and fear aside and you are able to move in a positive direction toward your dreams. When you stop talking and start doing you break down the barriers and clear the blockages that are stopping you from achieving the greatness that you are destined for in this life. So many time we end up making excuses and not taking action because we listen to our own negative self talk and the naysayers. Now is the time to tell that negative inner voice to shut up and start to erase all thoughts that are holding you back from manifesting the life you desire. Remember that your words have power so be very conscious of the words you are using and the effects they are having on your life. One way to stop talking and start doing is to speak life.
When you begin to take notice of what you are saying you will begin to see why things are unfolding the way they are in your life. I hear many people say I am trying and I refer to YODA from Star Wars saying there is no try you either do or you don’t. As you continue down your spiritual path take notice of the words you are saying and how they are impacting your life. I recommend that you change your thoughts and your words that are holding you back and making you feel stuck so that you can become unstoppable. Many times when you speak life and you stop talking and you start doing you will find fantastic things happening in your life. You have a power to change your life and the lives of others as you are a divine child of GOD who is being called on to stop talking and start doing.
When you experience a spiritual awakening the first thing you come to understand is that you are a powerful being capable of extraordinary things. The key is to take your words and put them into action. Together we can create a power source that will illuminate the world. We need to stop talking and start doing. It is when you tap into your divine power that you are able to put in motion all things that will assist you in creating a life that you desire. It is when you stop talking and start doing that you become powerful beyond what you ever imagined.It is when you unleash your power for the world to see that you begin to illuminate the world thus showing people that the brotherhood of man transcends the sovereignty of nations and that service to humanity is the best work of life. Stop listening to all the noise that is holding you back and start doing and you will see that your life will be filled with peace, love, joy, and prosperity. The key is to take action and have no regrets.
At the end of the day when it is all said and done it is important to have no regrets knowing you took action and followed your heart. When you stop talking and start doing you see that you have no regrets as you conceived things in you mind, believed them in your heart, and achieved them. As I reflect back on some of the things that I took action on I can say I am glad I did the things I did as when it is all said and done I can say I made a positive impact on people’s lives. It is when you decide to move right along and take action that you can look back and have no regrets.
It is when we keep moving right along surrounded by those who lift us up that we can stop talking and start doing. It is when we decide to move right along regardless of obstacles and wrong turns that we set in motion everything needed to create a life filled with bliss and abundance. There will be times when you want to stop and there may be times you want to quit. Do not give in and keep on moving right along.
Do not allow negative thoughts or negative people to stop you from taking action to move forward in a positive direction of your dreams. Remember there are those that take action and those who make excuses which type of person will be?

I have found that The Serenity Prayer, Positive Affirmations, and The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz to be excellent tools in assuming an attitude that will allow me to be open to grooving daily.
When I find it difficult to get into a groove or I find myself stuck I use the tool of reflection to remind me just how good my life has been and I remember times that brought great joy and a sense of accomplishment into my life like the 6 months from July 2002 – February 2003 when I was a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer in Buang La Union, Philippines. I look at the photo of the church and the arch and I realize how many lives I touched and how the people in this community changed my life and it gets me into a positive frame of mind knowing that I am capable of great things and if I can not do great things to do small things with great love. It is said that photographs and memories are great tools to help you get into the groove.
For years I have watched The Kentucky Derby, The Preakness, and The Belmont Stakes all 3 together known as The Triple Crown in hopes that there would be a triple crown winner as the last triple crown winner was Affirmed in 1978. Affirmed battled Alydar in one of the closest Belmont Stakes in the history of horse racing. I always get excited when I hear the announcer say and down the stretch they come as the horse enter the final stretch of the race knowing that in the homestretch os where many a race is won or lost. As The Kentucky Derby approaches and will take pace on May 2 I find myself thinking about the homestretch in the spiritual awakening process. On May 2 a horse, a jockey, a trainer, and an owner will be forever immortalized in the sports history books. This got me to thinking how will we become immortalized in the spiritual history books as we enter our very own homestretch in discovering who we are and what we are meant to be. A racehorse is bred to race and to give pleasure to the fans and then when their career is over they are put out to breed and through breeding they pass on their lineage and their legacy for more horses to race and for more fans to enjoy. This lead me to ponder what happens when we reach the home stretch of any project or development in our personal or professional life how will we create a legacy and pass the legacy on? One way to do this is to become spiritually aware and awake and to take action to develop our spirituality and share ourselves with the world.
In 2013 Orb was a longshot and sat in 17th place but rallied to win The Kentucky Derby. The spiritual lesson I learned that day was that it is not where you start that really matters it is that you start and that you give it your best in all that you do and finish what you started. Orb would finish 4th in The Preakness and 3rd in The Belmont and then be retired to Stud. Orb’s legacy now is in the horses that he sires. In the spiritual awakening process it is important to understand what your legacy will be and how people will speak about your home s retch run. How will you be remembered? ORB will forever be remembered as a Kentucky Derby Winner. In the spiritual development process it is important to be aware and awake of the positive impact you are making and how your coming alive is having a positive impact on the community where you live, work, and play.
