Spiritual Awakening: You’ve Got Messages!!!

aol logoRemember when AOL first came out  and we all got excited when that voice would come on and say you’ve got mail. Then when AOL started chat rooms we got very excited as we now had platforms to deliver our message and engage people. As AOL evolved so did many other companies and now it seems everyone is on Facebook. As I looked at the evolution of social media  over the years I began to think about how this relates to the spiritual awakening process and our own personal and spiritual growth. I then began to wonder what if you heard the voice of GOD saying You’ve Got Messages and you were able to download them and make an imprint on your heart and mind that would give you direction  to move in a positive direction along your spiritual and personal development path. What if you would see a sign that stated you’ve got messages and you were able to take action on those messages. As I have been evolving spiritually and personally I have had many examples of messages being received and acting upon them with excellent results.

Just Ask Already!!!!One of the messages I deliver is all you have to do is ask and I get very excited when I hear of  success stories from those who have  utilized my message to enhance their personal and professional life.  In his book The Seeker, The Search, The Sacred Guy Finley gives the reader many tools to use to be able to address  the  messages that are being given.

Spiritual Awakening: Get Lost!!!

When we look in the mirror and we see ourselves and the negative self talk starts to enter our thoughts it is important to say to ourselves get lost!!! In getting lost and losing our negative thoughts we find ourselves filled with spiritual guidance from GOD. Instead of making excuses it is important to become an action take and loose yourself so that you can embrace your divine purpose in life.  In eliminating that which is holding you back and ridding yourself of negativity and judgement you will begin to move forward in the spiritual awakening process.  When we begin to loose our negative and remove the negative people or things in our life we begin to feel better about who we are and we allow ourselves to be divinely guided. It is in being divinely guided and following this guidance that we are able to achieve great things. In adopting an anthem to be of service and value and to remove that which no longer serves us we are able to move in a positive direction thus becoming more spiritually evolved. As we evolve in our spirituality  and learn from the ascended masters our ability to make the mind, body, and soul connection is increased.  By mentally telling people to get lost  and deciding not to interact with those who do not lift you or encourage you will see a drastic improvement in your life. When you begin to make the changes in your life that allows for you to answer your calling you can affect change and thus come alive. When you come alive you are able to shine your light for the community to see and thus you are part of illuminating the entire world.
When we detach from ourselves and turn it all over to GOD we become his instrument. In order to be a productive instrument and make a joyful noise unto the lord we must clear the blockages and shift our mindset. In clearing out the garbage and taking out the trash we  open up channels that will positively manifest our dreams and help us to deal with any emotions that may hold us back.  It is when we tell these negative emotions to get lost that we are able to move forward and  not get too high or too low emotionally but to stay balanced in our quest to become a faithful servant unto the lord.

Spiritual Awakening: Leave Expectations At The Door!!!

Open-door-question.jpgThrough the spiritual awakening process an important aspect to learn and apply is that of detaching from expectations.  This lesson was very evident as I decided to put my passion into action and run POINTS FOR THE CURE FOOTBALL EDITION for The NCAA and NFL Games played from 10/22-10/28. I thought with all the chatter on Facebook and Twitter about football that this fundraiser for The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of West Boca Raton would be well received and the donations would start to pour in. I thought how easy, people agree to donate $.25 (25 cents) per point their team scored and then after the game visit http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogg2 and make their donation. I asked if their team was not playing that they donate $5 or if their team didn’t score at least 20 points that they would donate $5. I thought in taking action and promoting this concept that people would jump on board and the donations would simply flow in.  Boy was I mistaken I found out that many who profess to be doing well on social media are sometimes the excuse makers who are putting on a facade. After I got over my initial disappointment I began to meditate and I realized tat those who are going to participate and donate will do so and those meant to be involved will be. As soon as I turned back to my spirituality I realized that whatever money comes in at http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogg2 is a blessing. When I stopped focusing on all those who did not participate and started to show gratitude to those who did participate I felt better and realized that one must check the expectations at the door.

open doorAs you check  the expectations at the door  you begin to experience more joy as you allow things to flow and accept that not everyone will resonate with your message but the ones who do will support you. In checking our expectations at the door we allow ourselves to be open to receiving the messages that GOD wants us to hear and then we are able to take action and see what comes about.  In all we do we must change our perspective and be grateful for the chances we had to be of service and value and the lessons that we learned by taking action. I learned that perhaps Facebook and Twitter are not the best places to promote a project like POINTS FOR THE CURE or Fundraisers maybe it is better to go out into the community and share the message directly with the people.  I often say we never know who we will meet when out in the community and what doors may open. In the spiritual awakening process it is important to get out and share our journey as it might positively impact someone’s life.

royal flush - photo/picture definition - royal flush word and phrase ...In poker the best hand you can achieve is The Royal Flush.   To achieve the royal flush in life one must be able to flush out all the negativity in their life and remove what no longer serves them. In seeking the royal flush in life one must become an action taker. How many times have you made excuses and fell short of the royal flush in life? Ask yourself why was it that you didn’t  pursue the royal flush? What excuses did you make and then justify?   We will either find a way or we will find an excuse.

royal flushIf you were dealt a royal flush in poker chances are you would go all in? In life if you want to achieve a royal flush you must go all in and live life full out.  In seeking the royal flush in life changes have to be made. If you are unhappy with the way things are in your life look at what is creating the unhappiness and what can be done to reverse that feeling. In our human existence we will encounter times of trial and tribulation some which may bring unhappiness. It is at these times that we must look inside ourselves make the mind, body, soul connection and find the joy that lies underneath all the layers of unhappiness. We can sit an wallow in pain or we can stand up and do something.

Spiritual Awakening: Standing Up In Spirituality!!!

Tonight (9/5/2014) people from the entertainment and sports industries  along with regular everyday working people will get together for The Annual Stand Up To Cancer Event. Through out The United States there will be watch parties. This year is a bit special for me as The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is one of the partners with Stand Up To Cancer. I was very excited when I heard the news of this partnership because I had stated several years ago that it would be great  if The American Cancer Society began partnering with other cancer related organizations and began to understand the concept that there is enough funding to share and together we accomplish more. In the spiritual awakening process it is important to understand that we are all interconnected not only as humans but also as businesses.  It is important to stand up in your spirituality and vibrate positively so as to achieve the greater good.

Relay brings people together from all walks of life with the common ... When we find something that we are passionate about, like my passion to create a world with less cancer and more birthdays, we are able to take action and stand in our spirituality.  In standing in spirituality I know that I am guide by GOD in my efforts to raise funds for research, education, advocacy, and services and that when I listen to GOD’S Message and allow him to guide me that I meet with success. Each time I go to collect donations or post my website http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogg2 I say a prayer thanking GOD for the opportunity to use my talents for good. This not only works  with  collecting donations but when seeking guests for my TV Show, The Anything Bucket, which airs on www.wrpbitv.com on Tuesday at 6:30 PM EDT. The key is to be in tune with what messages are being sent to you and what action you are taking so you can stand in your spirituality.

Spiritual Awakening: Tools To Help You Stand In Your Spirituality!!!

native_american_spirituality-208012 I have always found that having guides to counsel me while in meditation allows me to have a smooth ride as I stand in spirituality and ride along my path to enlightenment. In consulting works of ascended masters I am able to not only visualize the outcome but I am able to work diligently in the steps to achieve the desired outcome. I have found having spiritual pictures to be a great source of strength as I can play soft background music and focus on the photos and receive the messages from GOD and take the action GOD wants me to take to create a world that will be more joyous, more peaceful, more loving, and more prosperous because of my willingness to stand in my spirituality.

Spiritual Awakening: How is Your Oil?

CHECK_YOUR_OIL_LOGO_273x239In the spiritual awakening process one of the necessary things to do to become an action taker is to check your oil. After you check your oil and you see that the viscosity is low you need to change the oil and refuel. Just like a car needing to change oil every 3,000 miles you as a spiritual being may need to change your oil by putting in better fuel as you make the mind, body, soul connection. In the spiritual awakening process you begin to see the warning signs more clearly as to when your oil is getting gunked up and blocking you from moving forward on your path. Sometimes I wish that my body had a  warning light like the one in my car that would help to identify the problems before they occur so that I could take proactive action to make the changes necessary to unclog my body and mind from that which is interfering with my ability to move forward in the positive direction of my dreams.  Well I no longer have to wish for a warning light as I have created my own spiritual guidance system as I am in tune  with the emotions that gunk up the works. In recognizing those emotions I am able to counteract then simple by making a decision to change the oil.  In making a decision to change the oil in the car our car runs better; it is the same thing with our life when we understand our calling and we make a change in our thoughts we come alive and our oil flows better.

Spiritual Awakening: Disposing Of The Oil?

If our oil is really bad we must set it a blaze and release the bad oil to make room for the good oil to flow. When the bad oil fire is put out let it cool and then release the ashes not to enter your body again. After you dispose of the bad oil make a commitment to put good oil into your body and focus on the good and replenishing the good oil. In putting good oil into your body you will be able to easily dispose of the bad oil and thus clear blockages that may have been holding you back from manifesting the goodness that you deserve into your personal and professional life. In disposing of the bad oil you open up the channels needed for the good oil to flow and thus enabling yourself to detach from situations or things that no longer serve you.

Spiritual Awakening: Doing The Deed!!!

 

As school started today in South Florida I began to reflect on all the dirty deeds that I did while in high school and the lessons that these deeds contained. From 1979-1983 I was a bit of a rebel and my rebellious actions often landed me in Internal Suspension. This rebellious side also led to many good deeds being done as I was able to reflect and turn the rebellious side into a positive side. It was when I decided to take action and confront my rebellious side that I had an awakening of sorts that kept telling me there must be a better way. As I matured I began to understand that the dirty deeds needed to stop and the good deeds had to take over. By committing then to do good deeds and to be of service and value I began to see a more positive shift in my life. As I began to walk a spiritual path and do what was right in my heart I began to grow and great things started to happen. I was beginning to feel fulfilled as I was helping others and as a result I was helping myself. I began to get recognized for my good deeds. It was when I decided to change that my life began to change. In 1983 I was accepted to 4 colleges, University Of Maryland, American University, Stetson University, and Hofstra University. I chose Hofstra and in The Fall of 1983 I began a journey that would change my life. In 4.5 years I would learn so much about myself and I would see that I was evolving asa spiritual being. My ways of doing things were a bit different and yet highly effective. As I look back on the deeds done in college I can tell you that most of them were good and changed some lives.  In 1989 I joined The Jaycees.Junior Chamber of Commerce and learned a lesson that I use as a mantra today That Service To Humanity Is The Best Work Of Life. One of the things that I learned through out the spiritual awakening process was that we weren’t born to follow.

As I began to embrace the fact  that we were not born to follow that we were born for a purpose and to lead I realized that the best leaders are the ones who allow others to aspire to leadership roles. Some will say that we all ca not be leaders and the truth is that yes we can as we can lead our lives as leaders in our lives that we can do what we believe in our heart and follow our heart. The only two people we have to follow is GOD and yourself. If  we tap into our genius and step into our power we will lead the life that GOD has prepared for us and no one else’s life. So many time we are told what we should do or what we have to do by people that don’t understand that we were not born to follow we were born to stand out. To these people I say I will do what I believe will honor GOD and myself and all will work out in the end as it is divinely planned.  In many cases we must detach ourselves from those who want us to follow and we must take the path that GOD has provided for us. It is when we learn to hold on to our dreams that we are able to understand the plan that GOD has for us and to better follow his plan by doing the deeds he has set out for us.

Spiritual Awakening: Turning Dreams Into Reality!!!

 

 As part of the spiritual awakening process I have learned that messages will come in all forms at all times of the day. Today as I stepped out of my shower I found myself singing Impossible Dream and this led me to think of the importance of dreams and how they often manifest during the day. As I got dressed I kept thinking that though some dreams may seem impossible it is our quest to chase them and shine our light brightly for others to see so that we can become the dream weavers and action takers to improve our world and thus enhance our personal and professional life.

When was the last time you boarded the dream weaver train? Each time I sit in meditation I look at it like cashing in the ticket to board the dream weaver train. My conductor of course is GOD, the ticket taker and engineer is JESUS, the staff on the dream weaver train includes Mother Mary, Arch Angel Raphael, Arch Angel Michael, and all of their associates who watch over me.  As the dream weaver train stops at its final destination I breathe and disembark and write down any messages that were sent to me. The journey aboard the dream weaver train is taken forward into the daily journey of being of service and value to others while making the mind, body, soul connection.

Spiritual Awakening: A Collect Call From GOD!!!

Imagine the phone rings and the operator say I have a collect call from GOD, would you accept the charges? If you said yes what would you discuss? Would you thank GOD for all he has done in your life? Would you ask him why he allows bad things to happen to good people? Would you ask why he took some people from you too soon?

 

 You don’t have to wait for that collect call as GOD is reaching out to you every moment. GOD will provide you with the answers that you are seeking all it takes is for you to open up your mind, body, and soul to his communication. In taking action to create a oneness conscious and communicate with GOD you will see that he is in control and will direct you accordingly. It is up to you to see and hear the messages from GOD and act upon them.

Spiritual Awakening: Answering GOD’S Call!!!

 On Tuesday July 8, 2014 I received an email about a charity basketball game being played in Boca Raton. I call the promoter asked if they had a PA Announcer and was told no so I asked if they would like me to be their PA Announcer. The gentleman putting on the game said yes and on Saturday July 12 I will be The PA Announcer for The 2nd Annual Celebrity Basketball Game to benefit PROPEL.  AS Part of The Spiritual Awakening Process I have learned to seek the call from GOD and answer them by taking action. I have learned that if GOD brought me to it GOD will bring me through it. I have learned that we can plan our day, our week, or our month but the true guide of our plans is GOD. If we seek what GOD wants from us and we follow his message we will be guided to success.

Spiritual Awakening: Judge Thee Lest The Be Judged!!!

 As part of the spiritual awakening process it is imperative to remove judgment and detach from situations so that you can make the mind, body, soul connection. It is  important to leave the EGO at the door and to allow things to flow as GOD has a master plan for you.  It is when we judge that we miss out on what can be a great interaction or experience. How many times have you made a decision based on your pre judgment only to find out that you missed out on a personal and professional growth experience? How many times have you forgot everything and ran because you pre judged the experience instead of committing to the experience and facing everything and rising.? How many times have you looked passed someone  and lost out on an opportunity to be lifted because your EGO got in the way? Judgment is perhaps the biggest obstacle to becoming awake and aware. When you remove judgment and begin to interact with people you will see amazing thing happen.

 

Spiritual Awakening: Judge Thee Lest Thee Be Judged- Case Studies!!!

 I was recently at my local Starbucks and a gentleman walked in and he was very unkempt, he was walking around asking for money. I told him I wouldn’t give him money but I would buy him a bagel. I bought him the bagel and asked him to sit down and we talked for a while I found out that he had worked most of his life and due to some circumstances beyond his control he was left in a financially challenging situation. I gave him some pointers and  I hope he acted upon my advice. I thought what If I would have looked at him as a beggar and a loser and not a human being who could be made whole with a bit of guidance and support.  Ask yourself how many times you are judging people? Then do your best to remove this judgment from your being.  In peeling back the onion and getting to know people you begin to remove judgment and as a result your personal and professional life is enhanced.  In today’s world so many people miss out because they are so busy passing judgment that they never experience to joy or interaction.
