Spiritual Awakening: Using The Pause Button
This post was inspired by a session I did with someone who kept piling on one issue after another and it became like a massive cd recording so I stated let’s use our pause button and slow down and get to the issues one at a time. As I began to use waht I call Using The Pause Button I began to realize that most of us all just need to pause from time to time and breathe and thus change how we are dealing with issues. The issues can be resolved when we pause and begin to remove the emotional charges associated with them.
When we choose to use the pause button we often find what The Big Issue is. Many times it is our own conflict of how we think things should be and how they are. The key is to pause and understand there is a big difference between these and that is when we pause and find tools that can help us overcome the issue. For example you are working for someone and after a few days they send the human resource person over to the site to let you know that in their eyes you aren’t meeting their expectations and they are letting you go. You get angry and don’t understand, however on your drive home you pause and seek guidance from source/GOD and you realize that this happened as he had bigger plans for you. You then look inside and find that there is a pattern of self sabatoge that you desire to change and you begin to take action steps to change and you soon see better outcomes.
The following is a poem I wrote that truly illustrates the idea of using the pause button.
Take Time Out
By Jonathan Steven Lederman
Take time out to see a sunrise
a new day
Take time out to hear a baby’s cry
a new life
Take time out to feel a brick wall
Take time out to taste an icecream cone
a happy moment
Take time out to smell a red rose
an emblem of love
Take time out to experience the good things life
Eli Manning uses the pause button by taking a Time Out during a game to regroup and get the right play called. Sometimes it is difficult to use your pause button, however when you realize that using the pause button at the correct moment can help you to achieve your goals. In Eli’s case it was calling a play that would eventually lead to a first down and that would elad to a score in which The Giants won The Superbowl.
I remember a Punk Rock Group, Frankie Goes To Hollywood who had a song RElax, which led to a craze of people wearing teeshirts with this saying.
This is the song that led to the tee-shirts. I use this as a way to remind me to use the pause button.
Spiritual Awakening: Ways Of Using The Pause Button
Many times we find ourselves wanting to use the pause button, however we may not have the ways to use the pause button. The following are ways to use the pause button:
1: Breathe before you speak or act
2: Find a quiet place and just be y sitting quietly. I like to go outside on a nice day and sit by my pool laying flat with my eyes closed my palms up and my legs straight.I then just breathe. Sometine I think this scares the neighbors as they don’t understand what I am doing.
3: During the day take a moment to just be by sitting quietly or taking a short walk. Sometimes it is as easy as just looking around at the nature around you and being in awe of the great creations from source/GOD.
4: Put on soft meditation music.
5: Carry crystals or stones with you that when things are getting stressed you can hold to help you use the pause button
Spiritual Awakening: Songs to Use When Using The Pause Button
The Scorpions Wind of Change is a great reminder to use the pause button.
Kansas delivers the message that we are dust in the wind and all that matters is how we live our lives.
This mediatation video will help you refresh and reignite so you can be a shinning light to others.
One way to use the pause button is to be in a loving state of being
When you use the pause button and come from a position of gratitude you will find you create more joy and abundance in your life.
Today use the pause button.
