Spiritual Awakening: Sow Your Good

Spiritual Awakening: Sow Your Good

As I read Mary Morrissey’s, The Miracle Minute, today the passage I read was about Sowing Your Good and this inspired me to write this blog entry as I have witnessed so many people that are sowing their good. It is when you begin to sow your good that you begin to open up the channels of reception and that you will begin to be rewarded. It is when you give of yourself and do things without expectation of return that the biggest gains are made. It is important to monetize yourself and your brand as the money that comes in can be used to sow your good. I often do events where I will set aside a percenatge of my emcee fee for a charitable cause as I know when you give to others and help to further their mission you will also be create a flow that will help you to further your mission.

I have seen many people sowing their good recently as they have become lifters in their community and beacons of hope to others. The list is quite extensive as evidenced by my list of friends on facebook who continue to pass their knowledge on to help others. I recently had the opportunity to connect with Rev. Cortez Mack who has a documentary film What About The Children that will inspire you to sow your good to help future generations. I have had the opportunity to watch Kellie Kuecha and Cliff Moitt sow their good by helping business people to thrive. I have watched Kimberly West and Allison Turner inspire others through their actions and sowing their good through Allow Your Spirit and Vision to Soar. I have watched Sara Doctofsky help children grow through The Professional You. I have had the privilige to work with Janine Hinds with her Ladders 2 Leaders Group and has seen the impact she is making with her work and sowing her good. I have seen Suzanne Kovi help people to ignite the fire within through her great work and sowing her good. I have witnessed Barbara Theodosiou take challenging events in her life to help mothers of addicted children through www.addictsmom.com. The list is over 1500 people that I know of people who are sowing their good. It is my hope that you will sow your good and be inspired by the people who are sowing their good.

This story was submitted by Paul Chesler, a Junior Chamber International Senator and an Entrpreneur.

Two years ago I read a book titled the “Christmas Jar” by Jason F. Wright. I began my own jar just before Christmas 2010. During the year I took all my pocket change and placed it into the jar. I do not ever pay exact change, since I want a
pocket full of change at the end of every day.
In early December I contacted my Pastor and asked if a needy family could be suggested to give the jar to? Without giving me a name I was told of a person with a desperate need for the holidays. I purchased a snuggle and put the jar inside of the box. Wrapped the box and delivered it to my pastor.
So how much was in the Jar. Just over $400.00. I’m sure that family had a great Christmas.
This is something I plan on doing for as long as I can. Here is a photo if this years jar. It has over $200 in it here in August.
I encourage all who read this to do the same. You may want to read the book as well. Imagine if everyone who saw this did the same. How many needy people would be helped to have a wonderful Christmas?

This is such an amazing thought, and I will implement it this year, not only personally but to the event I will be having called Forest of Angels.

The jar I already have about 5 years worth of change, just been lazy to take it to the bank, now I know why!! Thank you!!
