Spiritual Awakening: Fortune Cookies The Hidden Message

Every time I order Chinese food I make sure to ask for fortune cookies. I receive the fortune cookies and if I really like the message I will tape it to my notebook. I usually cahnge them to affirmations that I can use. Some of the messages I have received lately and changed are:

1: People are attracted by your delicate features-  People are attracted to me because I am compassionate

2: You Will Be Fortunate in Everything- I changed this to I am fortunate in everything

3: You are an excitting and inspiring person- I empower and inspire others

4: You will have gold pieces by the bushel- I will have wealth and abundance

5: You will be unusually successful in business- I am successful in business

6: God will give you everything that you want- God provides for me

7: Adventure can be real happiness- I am adventourous

8: The night lifeis for you- I enjoy the night life

These messages from fortune cookies now adorn my notebook for The Spiritual Entrepreneurs Visionary Awards, which will be held on March 24, 2012 at The Unity Church in Pompano Beach, Florida. Tickets can be purchased by clicking on The Purchase Your Spiritual Entrepreneurs Visionary Awards Ticket.

Spiritual Awakening: Fortune Cookies Custom Messages

Have you ever thought of using fortune cookies to deliver your powerful message. You can customize the fortune to reflect your business and have a unique way to promote who you are, what you do, and how people can conect with you.  The Fortune can be on one side with your contact on the other. I like these as they pay compliments to the people receiving them. You can google personalized fortune cookies and find companies to order from. I like the idea of JDOGG Says you are special, JDOGG Says you are loved, JDOGG Says you are beautiful.  What positive sayings would you include in your customized fortune cookie?

For the speakers at The Spiritual Entrepreneurs Visioanry Awards they might have these fortunes in their customized fortune cookies

Ken Esrig- Start From Where You Are

Rev. Ernest Chu- Be Open to Receive

Rev. Dr. Dee Adio- Moses- God Loves You, You’re Enough

Sarah Spiritual- You are Enlightened

Rev. Dr. Mia Merritt- Abundance is Your Birthright

  1. Thank you for a great tip on re-cycling fortune cookie messages and rewording them as personal affirmations. I’ve seen them used as marketing tools previously. A great idea especially for those in transformational work. Just wish we could replace the plastic outer wrapping with something more biodegradable.

Lol, that would make you a pessimist! We oredred chinese food last night, normally I’d grab a fortune cookie and read what’s inside, but this time I didn’t, I just left it there, I blame those damn things for all my bad luck Now I’m the pessimist, lol.

  2. I love this idea! I do want to add that if you have never heard of it, you might like to read Noah St. John’s book, “The Great Little Book of Afformations”. That is not a typo…he coined the phrase. It works like this…instead of making a statement, ask a question: Why is my business succeeding? Why is there so much love in my life? etc.

The mind is the most powerful search engine in the world! If you ask a question (positive, in the present, 1st person) then you MUST receive an answer.

Your mind will look for ways to answer and the Universe at large will start providing the miracles of manifestation :)

  3. Awesome use of fortune cookie messages. Lately I seem to get ones that aren’t really personal to me but now I will try to look at them from a new perspective. A new perspective can turn something from not so hot to awesome. Love it!

I love fortunes from fortune cookies! I have collections dating back farther than the eye can see. :) At different times, they have ended up in notebooks and jewelry boxes, on walls or mirrors, and a bunch of other places. I like the idea of turning them into affirmations, too.
