Spiritual Awakening: Scoring A TD In Life!!!
As I went into my local TD Bank to do my personal banking an opportunity to support The Special Olympics came about as the bank was selling candy to benefit The Special Olympics. As part of the spiritual awakening process supporting charitable causes plays a major role in expanding our own spirituality as the giving allows channels to be open to receive. As I left the bank I thought how each time you give it is like scoring a Touchdown for life. As I drove to my next destination, the local Starbucks, I thanked GOD for the opportunity to pay it forward and make a positive impact. I arrived at Starbucks and the table I usually use was occupied however the young lady at the table allowed me to share half the table and thus scored her own touchdown for life. As I sat down all I could think of was Touchdown Jesus. The original Touchdown Jesus is illustrated in the 1st two photos which are of Touchdown Jesus at Notre Dame Stadium. The other picture is affectionately called Touchdown Jesus by parishioners of that church. The question now is how will you score a touchdown for life?
Spiritual Awakening: Ways To Score A Touchdown For Life!!!
1: Get involved with a charitable cause or support a charitable cause.
The Word of Life Mural (“Touchdown Jesus” to you and me!) celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2013. In April it was lit with pink lights in support of those who’ve battled and are battling with cancer as the annual Relay for Life took place nearby in the Compton Family Ice Arena. Notre dame University scored a Touch Down For Life as they helped those affected by cancer and joined 1,000’s of others who participated in Relay For Life across the world. In getting involved with a charitable cause you score a touchdown for life while also expanding your spirituality and creating a oneness consciousness that allows you to be in alignment with your divinity.

4: Find music to use as an anthem to propel you to score a touchdown for life.
5: Find time to read the scriptures.
6: Walk in nature to get re-centered and grounded.
There is something quite spiritual and magical about nature and when we take a moment to drink it in we find ourselves in a position to follow our game plan to score a touchdown in life.
7: Meditate
Create a sacred space for yourself where you can enjoy peace, quiet, and serenity so that you can unclutter your mind and find the answers to which you are seeking. You may want to burn candles or incense while playing soft instrumental music in the background. I have found that going to an area around the lake of my community and simply getting quiet allows me to be open to receive the messages from GOD and then to take appropriate action.
8: Speak life and kindness
9: Be a Lifter.
In using affirmations and quotations and passing them out you can lift others and help them to score a touchdown in life.
10:Keep a journal
Each day write about gratitude, what obstacles you overcame, what brought you happiness. I have found that including quotes, fortunes from my fortune cookies, pictures of places I want to visit, and thoughts of gratitude to be a great way to score a touchdown in life.
Spiritual Awakening: The Game Plan For Scoring A TD In Life!!!
To move the ball down the field to score a TD or to play solid defense that will lead to a TD takes a well thought out game plan.
In the morning the sunrises and we must formulate our game plan to score a TD in life. It may consist of a walk, sitting an watching the sunrise, listening to quiet music while watching the sunrise, burning incense while we take a bath or simply writing down the goals and objectives for the day. The sunrise is the opening kick off.
Through out the day follow your heart & your passion to move closer to scoring a TD in life
Spend the day in gratitude allowing things to flow and letting go of that which didn’t serve you it will have been a productive day and you will have scored a TD in life. Remember Stay Positive.
