As I sat and thought about what to write about today all the messages pointed to the idea of beginnings. As I listened to the song by Chicago, Beginnings I began to realize that each day gives us a new beginning and that each day we have 24 hours to make a positive impact on our life and on the lives of others. I then began to ask the question what is it that you have been meaning to begin but haven’t due to excuses or the fear of what others may say or think about it? I then began to ask what is it that is holding you back? Then I found this quote by Lao Tzu,
and immediately thought it is time to take that first step and watch things unfold. What might be holding you back from taking that first step is it fear? I found this video and I hope it inspires you to put your fear aside and to step into your greatness and to shine your light as it is only the beginning:

Everytime I watch Scrooged with Bill Murray and the song Put A Little Love In Your Heart plays at the end my heart fills with joy as I reflect on the importance of showing love and make a positive change in the world by being a loving and caring person. The first step to enlightenment is to love yourself and to recveognizr that you are a divine child of GOD. When you look in the mirror and you start to say I am a loving, caring, compassionate person that shows love and shine my light brightly finding success in all I do you begin the process of putting a little love in your heart. By helping others without expectations of return you put a littled love in your heart. By sharing your successes and teaching others to be successful you put a little love in your heart. One of my favorite songs is Neil Diamonds Turn On Your Heart Light and when you turn on your heart light for the world to see you make the world a better place as you have love in your heart. As I warched the news today and saw the story of Lance Armstrong I thought wow all the good he may have done is now tarnished because of him not telling the truth from the get go. Then I watched the political ads where Mitt and Barack continue to put each other down instead of building themselves up. I then turned off the TV and prepared for the day by writing in my gratitude journal, reading Mary Morrissey’s Miracle Minute, reading Rev. Dr. Dee Adio-Moses’ Onesness Consciousness, and reading a random verse from the bible. As I arrived at my clubhouse I received a message to write about the importance of being truthful in everything you do and especially as you explore your spirituality.
Think about it if Lance Armstrong would have said while I was battling cancer I found a drug that made me a better cyclist and I kept using it as I was out to be number 1 because it would mean more money and exposure instead of him denying everything. Now he has to come clean and his reputation takes a big hit and how many people will now think twice about supporting The Livestrong Foundations.
What if Mitt and Barack laid out their plans with the best case scenerio, the worst case scenerio, and the most likely case scenerio and began speaking their truth instead of making statements and then having to back track. I believe more people would repsect the process if more truth was being told.
When you tell the truth and you are your truth your life becomes easier as you do not have to manipulate the situation. I am reminded of a situation when I wrecked the tape deck in my mom’s car I told her exactly what happened, she was angry but we worked it out. It is owning up to your transgressions that truly allows you to evolve and become a greater person. Take action and step into your truth by being truthful with yourself if you are unhappy state you are unhappy and then find ways to step into your truth to be happy. I look around and I see many heroes and angels that walk amongst us.They may not take the form that we visualize, however they are amongst us and working in a positive way for us. It is when we can see that everyone has sometype of angelic quality that we can relate better to everyone we meet and thus create positive interactions and shift to positive energy. I have seen the angels in actions recently as they provided me with the opportunity to be a contributor to the book Sources of Wisdom Book 2, when I said yes without knowing where I would find the $115 and then I mentioned oit to someone and they wrote a check for $115 saying I believe in you. I am so grateful for this person and the angels that spoke through her. I then began to realize that there are those watching over us and pointing us in the proper direction. I began to read the facebook posts by Doreen Virtue, Mariane Williamson, Guy Finley,Depak Chopra, Wayne Dyer, Michael Bernard Beckwith, and many others and I began to see the messages that were being delivered and each one seemed to be directed or related to me. As I embarked on a new project, Forest of Angels, which is a program where businesses and organizations sponsor and decorate Christmas Trees and select a charity to represent and compete for the title of Best Decorated Tree I began to think how great it is to expand personally and professionally through community service. As I began to make calls to find sponsors for the trees I felt an energy expand and come over me that created a joy that then enabled me to continue my expansion. As I presented the project and began to state that the tree sponsorships are $1,250.00 I began to get more comfortable. I then realized that the more you give the more you get. It is when you take action and become awake and aware that you begin to expand and grow.
In working with charitable causes I have found that making the mind, body, soul connection becomes easier as you truly feel the passion for what you are doing and you begin to realize that what the mind can conceive and the hert can believe you can achieve. As you begin to see the joy you are bringing to the world by being involved in your community you begin to open up channels to receive and your life seems to be flowing better. I often comment on posts that I applaud and celebrate you and it makes me feel good and helps me to continue to stay centered and grounded. When I see people doing great things to help other I get motivated to continue to shine my light and celebrate the good things in my life. As I celebrate and applaud the good it opens up a realm of possibility that I may not have been aware of.

Spiderman had Peter Parker, Batman had Bruce Wayne, and Superman had Clark Kent. Each character illustrates a transformation from who they were perceived to be to who they could become. How do you use your alter ego to transform yourself and create the spiritual well being that you seek. At times we may become conflicted because of our alter ego or the duality we feel we must face as we are affected by the thoughts and beliefs of our childhood and the fear of being a bit different than what is perceived as normal. We often ask ourselves what role must I play? How must I act in this situation because of fear. many times we create an alter ego to compensate for our short comings and we begin to discover who we truly are and we do some deep introspection and discover that we are who source desires us to be. When I think of celebrities making an impact I think of Bono from U2. I then start to think we can all be like Bono in our own right be it sharing our knowledge with others or simply sharing a smile or a kind word.
Bono of U2 delivers a message of hope in the song Beautiful Day. It is when we wake up that we have a choice to make it a beautiful day despite the weather and any trials and tribulations that we may have. By making a conscious decision to reach out and positively impact the lives of others we are positively impacting our own lives. Bob Burg speakes about being a go-giver is his book The Go Giver and his book Go Givers Sell More.
These two books can be great toolsto help you make a positive impact in the lives of others while improving your personal and professional life.
